We had a very enjoyable and unique stay at the Chalet. We booked the rental for the week of the total eclipse, and we were not disappointed. The host let us know before our arrival of an impending late-season snowstorm and wanted to make sure we would be ok. Once the storm began Derick monitored the deteriorating conditions and had a plow come by twice to clear the driveway out to the road. For the better part of three days, we hunkered down to read, stream movies and shows and play a few of the games provided, staying warm and dry in the Chalet.
Overall, we found the Chalet to be a comfortable place with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, especially the plentiful hot water, the washer and dryer and provided WiFi. We will book this place again, should we ever need a place to stay in this part of Maine in the future.

Having to drive snowmobiles one mile down the side of a major paved road(rte 6/15) is not "ITS Access". We were almost hit by a truck and ruined ski wear bars just to get to and from the rental. We would not have rented this house if we knew this. Also the driveways were glare ice and the grill had two empty bottles of propane so unuseable. The house was clean and nice. I would not recommend for a snowmobile vacation.

Beautiful property! Just as described online. It was perfect for my husband and our 2 kids. Definitely could have invited friends to stay with us and would have had plenty of room still.

Our week at the chalet was very relaxing and enjoyable. It was comfortable and quiet, and the huge deck was the best thing to enjoy that morning cup of coffee on. Since out son lives in Jackman, this is definitely an option we would consider staying in when we visit again. Thank you for a great and easy week.

This property was full of great ways to occupy your time. Horseshoes, pond with a paddle boat, firepit, a hide-a-way path to a stream with a table and chairs - great for a morning coffee, deck with grill, game room, etc. I would have given a 5 star review but while the property was very clean, it was lacking attention. The kitchen was quite mauled over. Old sugar in a messy sticky container, mismatched plastic storage, no foil, baggies, or anything like that. We really felt like we were camping when it came to the kitchen. The game room has lots of potential but again a little uninviting. Great jacuzzi tub in the loft but aside from water, that's all you get. With little effort, the owners could really make this a much more special experience. Still a great experience.

Wonderful Retreat
This property had everything we needed- plenty of seating both indoor and out, activities to enjoy, wood for the fire pit, and amazing views. Close to multiple hiking spots, great pizza in town. We searched for a quiet property, and we found it. Would happily come back!

Absolutely beautiful stay and location! Jackman is stunning and this cottage, deck, and space are beautiful and the perfect place to get away with friends and family! It’s even more lovely in person than in photos and I enjoyed my stay here immensely! Will definitely come back!!

Stay at The Chalet
The property was locked when we arrived and it took a bit for someone to let us in. The home is airy and well-suited for a sizable group. Our group of women has a high-standard of clean, so we were somewhat disappointed in that regard...and left it better than we found it. There were a number of burnt out lightbulbs in the living room and dining room, and we had to run out for dishwasher detergent, but we truly enjoyed our gathering and all agreed we would stay there again.

Mice... gross!
Is there a reason you aren't responding? I've been taking screenshots of my messages and you will not get a good review. This property has mice, I tried to contact the manager about the internet password no response, I tried contacting the manager about staying 2 and a half hours longer due to my teenagers online class and again no response???

The Chalet
Perfect location for our week long snowmobile adventure. Was so nice to come in and sit by the fire after riding the ITS trails all day. The house had plenty of space for all of our gear. The only negative was that we had to run the vacuum and wipe down the refrigerator right when we got there. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice Place
The accommodations are nice, but they are not keeping up with maintenance. Also, the third party they use to respond to customers when there is an issue with the property is not responsive. I've stayed here twice and it's been an issue both times. If you have an issue, just contact the owner. Still probably the nicest place to stay in Jackman.

Just What The Doctor Ordered!
The Chalet is absolutely beautiful inside and out. It was stocked with everything anyone would need to have a good time, not to mention it was clean and very comfortable! Communication with Darrick was excellent, he was always available to answer any questions. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this property to anyone considering it for a getaway!

Looking for a place to stay while working in Jackman to bring Tesla Charging station to the Trailside Gulf station. This place was great, you can kick back and relax with the boys with the amenities as well as eat and sleep with ease. Enjoyed every minute even tho we are away from home, feels like a home away from home.

Snowmobiling trip
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was cozy and inviting and ready for us early. There was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked and make for easy meals before heading out on the trails. We had a glitch with the TV but Darrick was readily available to help fix the situation and when it wouldn't work, he sent someone to assist us!!! Above and beyond service. Amazing Property and Amazing Location
Communication was very easy with this property. Darrick was available at all times prior to us getting to the location and during. He assisted us with access for snowmobile trails which are very easy to get to and the home is close to the trail system!
The property was big enough for us to maneuver a large 4 place snowmobile trailer and multiple vehicles.
The house has everything you need to go away.. towels.. blankets.. pots and pans .. coffee maker etc... the home is beautiful and spacious. It is very well decorated. The property is flat which is huge in the winter. There are multiple TVs in the home with internet.
We absolutely loved being here and can’t wait to go back!

Great cabin exactly as advertised. The appointments were more than I expected. Plenty of towels. Baskets of snacks everywhere. Very close to down town and the event I was attending. I would definitely rent it again.

Beautiful Cabin and Location
Had a great time in Jackman (up for rafting), and the cabin was amazing. Location was easy to get to, and had great amenities close by (groceries, etc). The 1 shower was really the only downside for a larger group, but otherwise being able to relax on the porch and look out over the pond was perfect. Would highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Chalet. Beautiful area to visit.
We were thankful for all the things provided at the Chalet. To not have to pack so much was a blessing. Snowmobile trails were good. We would only suggest a bridge over the stream to get to the trail system.
