Spacious, comes with grill, kitchen. We could have stayed here multiple days. Location is great for the beach and green gables attractions

I took shower around 11pm. It was warm water then suddenly became cold water. I was told later the 3 units 10, 11 and 12 share same hot water tank.
The extendable table cannot be extended because the bar underneath is missing.
I saw a mouse trap in the room and was told it is preventive. I had to put food in the car.
hairdryer is available upon request. We didn’t know that. by the time we knew this, the office is closed.

Lovely place. Basic but very clean and a wonderful place to spend a week!
Nothing. But need to put a sign on the dryer for people NOT TO PUT wet dirty towels and swimming costumes in the dryer!

We rented the executive cottage and I would highly recommend renting them. They were the newest on the grounds of the facility and far from the road also you parked right beside your cottage. Their was a giant field out front with 1 fire pit. The pool was great. Our cottage was huge and clean and had 2 bedrooms each with a queen and twin bed. It was a perfect place to stay for family . The cottage even had laundry in the bathroom and we remembered to bring our own detergent.
The cottage was great and large for all 5 of us and we were stuck in the cottage on day due to rain.
The next option I would recommend is the deluxe cottages they were a little older but looked large.
Lakeview lodge is on the Main Street of cavendish and restaurants and entertainment are very close by.
Would have preferred 11 am check out over 10am.

The location.
The cottage door jammed and wouldn’t close. Had to push it hard. Was hoping that front desk would offer something for the inconvenience but nothing was offered when I suggested the door isn’t closing.
No iron in the room. When I asked they refused to get me one and told me to use a community one since they only had 1. When I get there, there were 5 irons and they could have easily get me to use one and bring it back.
Not enough dishes. The BBQ didn’t have proper utensils.
Overall I wouldn’t be booking this cottage again.

Had Grandchildren over but couldn't use swings no baby swings and the children climbing area out of order by the
Pool !!At their prices they could spend some money on equipment and paint!!Also I put my tag for house cleaning on door no one came!!

We had a studio with comfortable beds and kitchenette and BBQ. All very clean. We made all our meals in our unit. The coffee maker and TV worked great. We also loved the Adirondack chairs to sit after our day of visits and the hot tub next to the outdoor pool was fantastic. We also loved all the trees outside the units. Other cottage rentals in the area don't have all the trees so you don't get shade on hot days.
The place needs a little refresh. Some cracks in the linoleum in the bathroom. Tub looking old and cracks but with the pandemic I can see that the money isn't there to do upgrades just yet.

Cabins are somewhat dated and the bathroom window was broken( did not open).

Called the property to tell them we would be late arriving apparently they do not check the phone messages after six o’clock so we arrived at the property and we were unable to get access to our room So ended up having to book another place at ten o’clock at night

good location - close to many activities and shops
good amenities- decent size swimming pool and hot tub and laundry facility (although there is only one washer and dryer available)
Outdated exterior, windows and furnitures and they definitely need some updates. Also had strong smell when walked in for the first time, but turning on AC and opening the window in the evening to air-out helped. The bathroom was little bit tight.
But for the price you pay and the location, you still get value for the money

Cute and clean cottage
beds were not very comfortable. walls between units were thin and could hear neighbors in the next unit opening and closing cupboards very early in the morning.
