It was just too noisy. We had to sleep on the sofa as the bedroom was directly above the bar. We did not get to sleep until early hours as bar was so busy. I am sure on a quieter time of year it would be better. But such a shame as a lovely apartment

We stayed in the apartment on a Sunday night. We were impressed by the size and facilities available, and the nice decor. The beds and sofa were very comfortable and we were toasty warm. It was all very clean. We were warned about noise but it wasn't a problem on a Sunday. We had an amazing Sunday lunch in the pub.

My stay at the white hart inn was better than I ever expected. When I saw the price for 4 people to stay, I wasn’t expecting a great deal but the accommodation was really nice. Picked keys up from bar and was greeted by friendly staff. Given quick tour of accommodation as we had a wedding to go to. Apartment was just altogether great, had everything we needed. Easy checkout, great stay altogether.

1 heads up. There’s no parking but there is a car park literally around the corner, like a 30 second walk around the corner. The car park is free to use but for everyone. We did arrive a bit late (our own fault), so was in a rush for the wedding, the car park was full so we had a bit of stress with that. I would arrive in good time in future to give me time to sort the car out.

pub busy as there was a wake so a little noisy but only until 12 so not an issue. lamp in living room not very bright so needed main light on - maybe a second lamp to give more of an ambience?

spacious and clean

Fantastic spacious flat that was comfortable and super clean in a lovely little village. Highly recommend having a meal in the pub below.

We were prewarned about noise as the flat is above a pub and assured it would stop around 11.30pm - However people were still partying at 2am in the streets. This is no fault of the owners though - feel the need to mention incase someone was taking young children.

It was spacious and clean with everything we needed. Staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was beautiful. We all wish that we could have stayed longer.

I don’t want to write in this box but feel like we should reiterate what others have said, yes it is loud at night but honestly what do you expect from a pub. Luckily our small children are deep sleepers and it really didn’t bother us, especially it if we could actually have been down there enjoying the atmosphere.

First impressions count and the initial welcome upon arrival was very friendly and helpful. The accomdation was extremely spacious and exceeeded our expectations with all rooms, including kitchen and bathroom, being of a really good size, comfortable where applicable, and very well appointed to a high standard. There was plenty of light throughout and the property, it was airy and just felt immediately homely, with some quirky touches, which we liked. It didn't want for anything as far as we were concerned. A proper 'home from home' without any notable compromises. Easy parking was available nearby as well.

The wifi was quite weak in the bedrooms, especially when there was more than one user, but it really wasn't an issue. The oven could have done with a bit of a clean but, again, it really isn't worthy of complaint because of the very high standards that were evident throughout. For those who might be more easily disturbed, there was a little noise from the outside seating areas below, in the evening, but it was nothing raucous, stopped at closing timend that was fully understood when we booked anyway.

Location was excellent, close to all amenities. Apartment was spacious and clean. Price was excellent. We had food in the restaurant downstairs which was lovely. Generous portions. Staff in the bar and restaurant were lovely and friendly

No slip mat in the shower and a small shelf would be useful to put shampoo etc on. Also another shower room/en-suite or separate toilet would have been very useful

Ideal location for a family wedding in the town.
