The appartement was clean. Had enough space to relax. Kitchen was OK and also the bedrooms were fine.

The accommodation was lovely! Considering its located off the main road in Dongo, you wouldn't know. The pool and garden space is beautiful! It was so unexpected. The apartment we stayed in was clean and had everything you could ever need. Everything is in excellent condition and high quality. Host is friendly. Host made the accommodation & site very safe re: Covid. I saw a review on here suggesting visiting La Trave Restaurant up the hill, and we are SO pleased we did. It was the highlight of our holiday. Couldn't recommend this accommodation enough.

Dongo isn't a large town, but has a couple of restaurants and enough gelaterias. Host didn't contact us until 4 hours prior to check in (even though we'd contacted him the day before), but once contact was made, he made check in very easy. Host doesn't speak much english, but this wasn't a problem at all, as he had a friend who helped out and we had google translate.

Brilliant place to stay. Antonio was a great host and his property was very clean and well stocked. Lovely village/town with plenty of choice of cafes and restaurants in walking distance. One of the best restaurants was up on th hill behind the apartments called ristorante la Trave, superb food at reasonable prices and very friendly staff. Also a few supermarkets within walking distance aswel as abutcher and bakery.A few minutes walk to the ferry for access across the lake and a short drive to the train station for access to Lecco or Milano. Lake Como was a fantastic location for our holiday.
