The view from the balcony is great! Located in Old Manali, close to smaller cafes and restaurants. I used it as a starting point to explore the mountains. I came back three times, after I knew the staff & people. Environment was very chilled!

Decorations for the room. You can put up pictures of the mountains, passes, lakes etc. And I would like to have water bottles easy accessible to buy.

Great location of the property offering a scenic view. The rooms were clean and well maintained.

The location is perfect, not to far from the centre of old manali, can be a bit tricky to find the hostel at first though. Dorms were reasonably priced. Dorm and washroom were cleaned once a day. They have a in-house kitchen and food price was very reasonable. The dorm was warm enough, hey provided two blankets with each bed. They have a common room with a heater. The staffs were great, kuldeep and the property manager Minal were the best host ever. Roxy and blacky were love ❤️, they are the dogs who stay at the property. This is one of the best hostels in old manali. I'll highly recommend it if you are a backpacker, travelling solo or with your friends.

Common room was a bit small, lack of indoor games, the property doesn't accept cash, only cards.

Everything was great location,rooms, beds, wifi and food too. I have been to many hostels but never felt home anywhere. One things i like most about Madpackers is they clean the whole hostel everyday (tables, chairs etc)This time i found my manali home. Being a solo female traveller it’s quite hard to find a safe place. Minal and Kuldeep was no stranger to me. I have read reviews about them. Now i got why your names are trending 😂 Kudos to both of you guys. It was a short meeting but I’m coming back soon. #1morenight.

Madpackers Manali is a vibe This place is like a second home for me now. Kuldeep took us to Paradise Valley for star gazing. It was amazing. The stay is cost efficient as well. I just don't wanna go back to city life. Madpackers is the place to be if you are visiting Old Manali

The property manager kuldeep is the highlight of this place. He is so warm and welcoming and does more than his job, it’s like meeting someone you know and the way he manages and engages everyone that is just beyond amazing.

The location of Madpackers Manali makes it super convenient to explore Manali at its best. The mountain view from the property is a treat for the eyes. The property is very neat & clean and they have a warm water facility 24×7 and a cozy common room to connect with other travelers. The host (Minal) is very warm and cooperative. She goes the extra mile to help out everyone with the best recommendation. The property has a very beautiful garden and an amazing bonfire area to soak the beauty of nature.

The host miss Minal is one of the hosts ever.

There was no cook in the property. The bedsheets were not clean. The crowd was not that great.

Location,Staff and all other facilities

there couldn’t be a more peaceful place than this in old manali for workation and chill. The view from here is extremely beautiful and got to know and meet many solo travellers like me here. Abhishek and Minal have been very engaging and friendly and managed several events. Taking with me box full of memories, one of my best stays ever.

The environment is very friendly and makes it easy to feel comfortable during the stay. The staff and the guest are social and very helpful. The location was good and Old Manali is a beautiful area to walk around. Very easy to go on day hikes or other outdoor activities. They had drinking hot water dispenser which was a savior for the cold. The beds were worm at night so i never felt cold. The views of the mountains are very peaceful
