Gorgeous property in the most perfect location but above all our host treated us like we have never been treated before. Fridge and pantry stocked with food and drinks & topped up daily; cleaner tended to the property daily. All our needs were met including restaurant reservations etc etc. By far 1st class service.

We stayed in Il Corte apartment and loved it! Our hostess was so accommodating and assisted in any way she could. The apartment had plenty of room and was in an excellent location, a few steps from a stunning swimming bay and the cable car to Taormina; and a short walk to Isola Bella; also had sea views and a private garden; very quiet at night. Very generous provisions for breakfast; parking inside the property and lovely extras like local treats; flip flops, if needed, and a gift to take away.

I personally have been holidaying in Mazzaro/Taormina for over 40 years and have had lots of wonderful apartments all around Sicily, but this is far the best. Valeria is a delightful, bubbly person full of information on the area and replies immediately to any queries. Fantastic sea and beach views from every room, including the smallest room. Easy access to Taormina and the Beach arriving home to find the apartment had been spotlessly cleaned and restocked with breakfast items by Fredreca was an added bonus.

The place is absolutely perfect. Perfect location, private garden, all perfectly clean. And an apparent is really sizable - we had room (4 people family) more than we needed. Valeria, our host, took care of everything. Even our fridge was never empty. Many thanks Valeria

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is at a great location. We had a beautiful private garden attached to our apartment. The host took care of every little detail, from coordinating check in, helping with bookings and leaving some amazing goodies for us. We really appreciated all the extra touches.

The location was fantastic. Plenty of space; everything is bright and impeccably clean. Valeria has clearly put in a lot of thought and effort into making her guests' stay pleasant and memorable. There were plenty of drinks, biscuits and things for breakfast (that we hadn't counted on). The welcome package contained more than that, but I'll let potential guests discover it for themselves;). the gondola closes at 8 pm during off season so you will need a car if you stay here during this gif season.

This place is amazing and well located. Close to the beach and the cable car brings you right up to Taormina in no time. The hostess Valeria took really good care of us and made sure the villa was clean and there were snacks and drinks. An extra plus was the garden. Thanks for everything!

I would recommend La Matrangela to anyone! We loved it so much there. Perfect villa with everything you need and very high standards, excellent location 2 minutes away from the beach by walk but also 2 minutes away from the cable car to Taormina leaving every 15 minutes. we already want to go back!

The accommodation was excellent, ideal location and we felt very well looked after by our gracious host.

The bed in the master bedroom was squeaky and the mattress felt old and hard.

This property is incredible. Your own private seaside villa, stunning views over the bay from the bedrooms and terrace, and front-row seats to gorgeous sunrises each morning as you face directly east. The property is very well maintained and feels brand new, modern and high-quality bathrooms, and such a well-stocked kitchen and coffee/tea station. It’s also a charming 5 min stroll down the stone steps to the bay, with direct access to great restaurants and lidos. A fantastic and spacious property overall. The best place to stay in Taormina!

First and foremost I was a little reluctant to leave a review as this spot is just the perfect secret. However I also would be doing a disservice to the area, location the apartment and Valeria to not share the Taormina experience…Perfect in every sense, Taormina just gets under your skin! This was our perfect ending to our Tuscany / Sicily trip for my fiancés 40th birthday….. and what a perfect ending! Location Quiet, intimate,scenic, practical(shops and local restaurants are just a short walk away but the apartment remains beautifully calm & quiet). Taormina gives the over run tourist trap of the Amalfi a strong rival! There’s a magical local but understated luxurious vibe to this area, chilled and a well hidden gem! The apartment (we stayed in The Court) was impeccable. Clean, fresh and smelt Devine!!! The little home from home comforts were beyond catered for and utilities such as the washing machine, dishwasher etc were not only blonde proof but a fab addition (no linen wash to do when we get back to the UK… hoorah!) To get to the beach there is a little gated stepped walk way which takes you down to the front, with more local eateries and boat / water activities available. The cable cars are 300metres away (last access at 0100 and run every 15 minutes). This hilltop town is literally stunning and lots of eating and boutique shopping awaits! *top tip* underpack …. Because the shopping here is just inspiring and the Italian style is seriously, seriously contagious! Taormina is suitable for all budgets ie from the shopping to the activities to the quick bites or even the seven Michelin star restaurants that are located at the top- it just depends what you are after. We spent just over a week here and the whole experience has been fantastic. Valeria, Valeria, Valeria! What a fantastic host. She literally goes above and beyond the extra mile. You can really tell she is passionate about exemplary customer service.

Clean, spacious, and well stocked and equipped property with a wonderful private garden and easy access to the waterfront and transport. Valeria is a friendly and welcoming host and went out of her way to help us book transport and dinner reservations. Thank you!

Valeria is so amazing, helpful and goes the extra mile. She stocked up the fridge and breakfast cereals etc. She treats you like a family member and makes reservations or suggests the best attractions and restaurants. She and the house is 6 star. Fruit and olive trees with a private path to the cozy beach. I will return and highly recommend this home away from home. Loved every minute. ♥️

Everything! The apartment itself was beautiful, spacious and nicely decorated. The location is perfect, close to the beaches of Mazzaro and Isola Bella, and restaurants. The Gondola up to Taormina is just 2 min away. The owner Valeria was fantastic, she helped us book activities and restaurants. Best guide you could ask for!
