Le COEUR de Julian - Cette charmante maison de deux étages a été construite en 1987 avec plus de 2000 pieds carrés d'espace pour le plaisir de vos groupes. Ma maison est située à deux pâtés de maisons du centre-ville de Julian. Vous pouvez vous promener au magasin de tarte de MOM et en cours de route, arrêtez-vous dans l'un des vignobles pour un petit avant-goût de votre vin préféré. Restaurants, boutiques, spa, salle de gym et musée sont tous situés sur la rue principale. Le célèbre Gold Mind dont le tunnel traverse toute la montagne est à un pâté de maisons sur la même route que ma maison. Le lac Cuyamaca est à 6 miles de voyage vers le sud sur l'autoroute 79 qui possède un petit restaurant, de la pêche et du canotage. Sentiers de randonnée en été et ski de fond en hiver. Si vous voyagez à 7 miles à l'ouest sur la 79, vous serez à Santa Ysabella qui a la célèbre boulangerie Dudley avec une grande variété de délicieux pain et de sandwichs OMG!
Le décor de ma maison est une boutique champêtre avec le luxe à l'esprit, WIFI prêt avec des téléviseurs dans chaque chambre. Il y a deux cheminées, une à chaque étage. Le 2ème étage a trois chambres avec lits queen et une salle de bain. Le balcon a un espace de vie extérieur pour se détendre avec des canapés et des chaises longues qui capturent la vue sur les arbres et les pins environnants pour une atmosphère très confortable.
Il y a une cour avant privée et une cour arrière qui comprend un barbecue et des sièges pour six sous un parapluie ombragé. Le 1er étage a une salle de lecture, une chambre principale, un lit queen avec sa propre salle de bain et un dressing avec des portes françaises qui sortent dans la cour.
La cuisine est entièrement équipée pour les chefs de votre groupe. Nous fournissons gratuitement du café et du chocolat chaud que vous fournissez la nourriture que vous souhaitez préparer.

This property needs some work. Doors all need repairs. Hard to close and get stuck. One of the bedrooms upstairs doesn't have a door so noisy if anyone is up doing anything. Quick walk to town. Nice front porch. Well equipped in the kitchen. I don't think I would stay there again.

Went up to Julian to watch the Perseid Comet shower. 3 couples of old friends got together and had a wonderful time at this beautiful house. It had everything we needed and more. Communication with the owner was great. Couldn’t be happier and we would love to stay there again.

The house was super nice and Priscilla was easy to contact and communicate with. My only complaint was that the bedrooms were pretty warm, even with the air on. But it was on some of the hottest days in summer, so whatever. Oh, and BTW, there is no hot tub even though the listing says there is. All in all, though, it's worth staying here again.

This home is located within walking distance to the center of Julian. There are lots of hiking trails to explore.
Our family included grandkids from 13 —> 21 yrs. No one was bored.
We were surprised by the multiple large gathering places inside and outside this home.
The home was clean and the kitchen is well-stocked with cooking utensils.
The owner provided detailed descriptions for the house and was easy to contact if we had a question.
Our only regret is that we didn’t have more time to enjoy this home and Julian.

Very nice, spacious property. Tree over the driveway drops yellow, dusty pods all over the vehicles. Might be a seasonal occurrence. Everything else was great! Not a disability or elderly guest friendly house. Clean venue, hostess was very responsive and the beds were comfortable.

House is nice and very close to town. Description online was very accurate. Enjoyed our time in the mountains. Hurricane which is once in a lifetime for this area was no problem. House was safe and neighbors and community were very nice and helpful.

The place is as advertised. Comfortable beds - lots of towels for everyone. We utilized washer and dryer - that was convenient. We were worried that the a/c unit would not be sufficient for a super hot weekend - but it was - and there are ceiling fans in all of the rooms. We had an amazing pie from Julian Pie Company. Quecho is a quick walk down the street and had delicious burritos too. Very nice place to stay while in town for a wedding.

We were a small group of 6 who stayed at the heart of Julian, celebrating our 10 yr reunion as graduate students. The house and location were perfect for us. Located centrally, literally in the heart of the town, easy access to shops and cafes. We cooked at the house, enjoying the home-feeling of all being together again. The beds were comfortable and we shared all rooms very easily. The host was easy to contact and was accessible throughout our stay for anything that came up. All we have as feedback is to align the check out time posted in the house with the time posted in the messages, and we recommend the 11am check out time (sent in message by host) rather than the 10am (posted on sign in house). It’s a big house that supports a lot of ppl, and we had to strip the beds, put clothes in laundry rooms, and other specific tasks which took extra time. Nonetheless, we would happily stay again and appreciate the host working with us to be able to rent the home and celebrate the lives and friendships in our group. It was special.

Went to Julian for a couple nights with two other families. House was in a great location, walking distance to downtown. Only complaint was the fireplace did not work downstairs (we were notified they couldn’t fix it in time) so the downstairs living room was freezing. The bedroom was adequately heated by the bathroom space heater. Otherwise, it was a great time.

Summer Getaway
We enjoyed our stay very much! The only downside was that the Wi-Fi didn’t work in the evening and we weren’t able to watch television because it kept buffering. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Wedding weekend
this was an ideal place for me and three other couples to stay during my daughter's wedding weekend in Julian. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to spend enjoying the outdoor patio with the grill, bar and fire pit.
We were able to walk to dinner and the market so it was an ideal location.

This home is beautiful! We were expecting nice and we were still pleasantly surprised! Right off the main drag walkable to all the shops and restaurants. This home was fabulous for entertaining our large family with four great bedrooms! Very nice sized open living area with fireplace. Great outdoor entertaining space as well. We LOVED this home!

We had a wedding in the area and this property was perfect for our family weekend. We especially enjoyed the patio & firepit. The only glitch was not recieving the entry code from the management team (still no response) but Priscilla was quick to answer, thankfully her number was listed!

Super Wonderful Home
I appreciated that Priscilla was so quick to respond to all my questions before we arrived. We enjoyed the abundance of towels, the very comfortable beds, the amazing kitchen (with great refrigerator, toaster and coffee maker), the large couch with reclining seats, the huge outdoor space, the super quiet location, the children’s books . . . . All seven adults and one child were so happy here. Looking forward to our next visit!

Family Friendly Vacation Home
Our family recently stayed at the Heart of Julian Vrbo. The house was beautiful as well as the large outdoor living space. There was plenty of room for us to gather together or go to separate comfortable spaces to read or talk or just veg out. The only drawback was the steep staircases making it difficult for the grandparents to climb. They live in a home with stairs so are used to climbing them. Luckily the bottom floor has a master bedroom suite and access to the outside which helped immensely.
The home is located a short walk or drive from downtown Julian.
We would heartily recommend this property!

Fantastic Location and Private
This house is spotless and comfortable! My sister and I visited for hours on the porch and relaxed in the living room with movies. The location is right in town, right up the street from the best coffee shop we’ve been to in a long time called Regulars Wanted!

Perfect location and great house
This house was not run down or second hand feeling at all (like other vrbo properties can feel). The location was two blocks from town - giving us an opportunity to take morning walks to the coffee shop. The house had everything we needed. It is not handicap friendly as you have to climb a flight of stairs to get in and out of the house - which was hard for my stepfather. Otherwise, I would highly recommend!

Beautiful Home and Perfect Getaway
This home was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect -a very short walk to shops and restaurants. It was so relaxing to sit out the front porch. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. My family and I were very comfortable here and wished we had stayed longer. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you again !

Family getaway
This house was so lovely and comfortable. It was perfect for our planned family time. The check in and out process was so easy. Our girls (10 and 14) attended school virtually while we were there and the wi-fi was excellent. We played many of the games that were generously made available in the home and had a blast. Despite the pandemic we were able to walk into town (wearing our masks of course) and do a little shopping and sit and have pie. We loved our stay and will remember it fondly. Our youngest daughter loved the house so much she made a replica of it on her video game and used the same home decor as well :)
