I had a feeling that the owner tries to save on everything and make the most of money on it. Really small bed (not good even for a couple) and the whole room. Its not comfortable for rest or spend time there, its just to drop stuff and go out. The worst breakfast of all the places we have been: with almost no choices to eat, not even musli or cornflakes or yogurt, nothing fresh like fruit, vegetables or cheese and ham. the owner is not anywhere close to the place, he is communicating only via whatsapp. he wrote me when I asked him for something fresh - at least some bread, cheese and ham, that if I expect ham and cheese for breakfast, I should not book.. He could spend 3 EUR for each and give me something fresh and I would be happy, but he was not willing to do it. Comparing the quality and price it was not a good choice: it was our most expensive accommodation, but with the smallest room and the worst breakfast of all. Also the only place without anybody talking to us. I dont recommend.

The apartment is uphill, the view is beautiful from the terrace. We stayed in Baunei because of the hiking trails in the area but still, a rented car was absolutely necessary here as well. The lady in the neighbour who helps the host was very helpful even if she did not speak a word of English.

When we arrived, there was no one at the apartment to let us in, it was completely self check-in, we just didn't have any information on which room and how to enter the building. After several calls and messages, we were able to reach the host. After that, he was very responsive and helpful. Maybe the information beforehand is useful for the fellow travellers. The reviews were highlighting the breakfast, but honestly I didn't understand this, our breakfast was nothing special, mostly pre-packaged food.

The place was extremely clean, the kitchen was fully stocked, the terrace views amazing and breakfast was good. It was easy to take the key and check in and out and communication with the owner was easy. Free parking is easy to find just in front of the place and nice hikes can be done from thoenplace. Over all, baunei is a really great place to stay in and it may not be perfect (but what place is), it's worth it.

As some of the reviews have mentioned, the bed seemed smaller than average (width wise). I'm smaller than average so it was not such an issue, but I imagine it is harder with 2 more standard individuals. There is also not much sound isolation between our room and the bathroom just beside so we could hear quite loudly everytime they flushed the toilet. Thankfully not too much people during our stay so it was ok.

It was great room with delicious breakfast. Owner take care of customers very well. Beautyfiul view from the room and near to centrum. Parking next to door. Tutto bene

Nice room with balkony with amazing view (sunset over the city and valley), nice shared kitchen, really good breakfast (fresh pastry, which is kind of a special for Sardinian level of breakfast :)).

All in all a great place to stay.

The lack of soundproofing can be a little bit disturbing if there are other guests in other rooms. Also the locks of the rooms should be changed as they do not work properly.

The room was clean, confortable and the bathroom has a really good shower. Our room had a balcony with a beautiful view! We loved it! The breakfast was good, with croissant, bread, fruits, coffee, tea, juice, etc. We parked easily on the street. I would stay there again.

The double bed is small. It was not a problem for us, but may be a problem for some people.

Cool place in the center of Baunei. Great stop if you're travelling from Cala Gonone to Cala Goloritze as we did (experience the views). Very good breakfast at the cafe just a few steps away. Perfect communication and easy check-in.
