The rooms were very clean and tidy, a very welcoming reception from the owners who were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was good with plenty of food and drink.

Parking in the area is difficult. there is a car park just along the road however it is extremely busy and hard to get a parking space. Once you manage to get a place to park Cornwall Council is just shy of £9.00 for 24hrs parking. As St Ives is a very quaint old town with narrow streets everyone is probably in the same boat regarding the parking situation. This has no reflection on the guesthouse itself which was very nice.

The guest house was very close to the city centre and the beach. Easily walkable which made my trip much more fun and stress free. The guest house was very clean and cost. The owners were really nice and made sure that their guests were taken care of. The breakfast was amazing. I enjoyed every bit of it. My room was always cleaned.

Hosts were welcoming, room & guest house very clean & cosy, a few minutes walk down the hill to the beach & harbour, quiet & relaxing but everything nearby, would definitely book again.

The location is great with wonderful sea view. The breakfast is excellent with varied choices. Tea, biscuits ... filled daily. The hosts are warm and welcoming. The house doesn't have a car park, but a big car park is nearby.

Sometimes the car park is full, have to be patient.

The breakfast was very good, the owners were very friendly and the location was perfect, especially the view.

The heating was on which was too much for the middle of summer, just a personal preference though.

Great B and B! Highly recommend. Charlotte and Gavin were really welcoming and attentive. The room was bright and clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! Location is great too - only a short walk into the town centre. I will definitely stay again! Many thanks Charlotte and Gavin!

Charlotte and Gavin were lovely friendly hosts who went out of their way to accommodate one of us being a vegan the added thought of vegan snacks in the room was really appreciated and the breakfasts were lovely we will definitely be recommending to friends and will be back to stay again ourselves.

The owner is really good and very helpful to us. They provide very useful information about for us. Every morning Gavin asked about our previous day and plans also asked if any help we need it. The house and room are very clean and nicely decorated. Also, the breakfast was excellent. They provide an excellent service.

Gavin and Charlotte were exceptional hosts that have created arm and welcoming atmosphere. the location is central to all points of nferest in St Ives and the breakfast is exceptional!

We had a lovely break and were sorry to leave such a lovely place ,Charlotte and Gavin are the perfect hosts , Breakfast was great there was a lot of choice and nothing was to much trouble for them, The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable, Would highly recomend to anyone , and would love to stay again , Thank you for a lovley stay.

no parking on site but car park 1 min walk away (Barnoon long stay) very busy and was very hard to get a space but once we did we were happy!

Tregony Guest House is a great example of a traditional (Air-less) B&B, it's been a while since I stayed at one and it was a great reintroduction. The hosts Charlotte and Gavin are fantastic, friendly, professional and it's obvious they car about your experience. The room and bathroom were a good size, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding, cooked by Charlotte, I stayed for five nights, zero complaints, consistently delicious, and the fruit was too (service always with a smile from Gavin). Their website is informative and their restaurant recommendations didn't disappoint. There are beaches, coastline, restaurants and shopping very close but the place is atop a steep hill so bear that in mind, and parking can be tricky as the closest carpark (Barnoon) is a busy one. I suggest trying after 6pm for a better chance (free from 6pm-8am / £8.80 per 24hrs). It wasn't too hot when I visited and the room was comfy but I imagine it can get pretty hot inside on upper floors. Overall excellent, and I would definitely stay again (but I'm thinking of moving to St Ives/Cornwall instead).

*The water pressure isn't great but that's often not something that can be helped. *I always like blackout curtains as I'm light sleeper, but that's just me being picky.
