As advertised, location of cabin and the view were great. Would recommend adding bug spray and binoculars for guest to bring along. Trimming of the landscape around the swing and look out during the summer to open up a better view.

The coziest cabin EVER! To say magical is an understatement. The entire landscape was enchanting. We also enjoyed hiking Laurel River which was only 5 minutes away. We left completely relaxed and refreshed from a much needed romantic get-a-way. Thank you for sharing your precious cabin!

Our stay at the River Magic cabin was fantastic! The property is better than the photos, it was clean and very well equipped. They really thought of everything.
So the prime reason for picking this property was the location/view, AND we were not disappointed. While it was still a bit cooler that the lower levels it was still warm! It would have been nice if it had been a few degrees cooler. Can only image how beautiful the view would be in the fall!
We did get a chance to meet the owners who are super special people!
If you want a beautiful cabin in the mountains, give the River Magic cabin a try, you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I enjoyed a quick two night getaway in this beautiful cabin. The view was absolutely stunning. We enjoyed wine at night and coffee in the morning on the balcony looking at the French Broad River. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The town was cute and our favorite was the local brewery with live music. We also did a couple hikes to enjoy nature within a couple miles of cabin. I highly recommend staying at this VRBO. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer.

River Magic is a beautiful pristine cabin that is well stocked and immaculately clean and well landscaped. It had everything we wanted or needed for a long weekend getaway. Spectacular view in a quaint little town full of friendly people. Communication with property manager was stellar. My only slight critique would be that the hot tub is very small (but very clean and well maintained) and the jets are poor. More of a soaker tub with nice hot water at 105 degrees. The hot water only got to a warm and never what I would call hot in the shower. With that being said, we would definitely still rent here again and I have still given it 5 stars.

The property was perfect for the 2 of us. Simple check in/checkout. Picturesque setting of the mountains and French Broad River. The wood burning fireplace was a special treat. Be sure to bring your own food as you won't want to leave the cabin. Communication with owner was wonderful.

Please be aware however that the road to the cabin is quite steep. We managed fine with a truck but there may be some difficulty for a car with steep incline and loose gravel.

Best place to disconnect from the daily life. Beside a bridge in the distance, our view was only nature with no man made structures to be seen. A peaceful place to reconnect with nature. The house was awesome too. Just what we needed.

This is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and unplug. Beautiful cabin with an incredible view and a charming little town. We lost power out first night there due to a storm but the owners and property manager were very responsive and monitored the situation. We will definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I wanted to get away for the fourth, and found this cabin pretty last minute. This was definitely by far the cleanest place I’ve stayed at, the views are absolutely amazing. Everything about it was great! The drive coming in once you get on the gravel road looks like you’re going the wrong way, but you’re not! It’s a pretty steep hill to get up, but we had no problem in my truck and didn’t have to use 4x4. The hot tub was very clean as well, overall we had an amazing stay. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get away for a few days! We will for sure be back next year, thank you letting us stay at your beautiful home!

We were celebrating our 55th anniversary and this was a great place to be. Excellent furnishings, we'll equipped kitchen, spectacular view of the French Broad River from the porch, relaxing hot tub with privacy and a view of the river and wooded area. The mountain rhododendron were in full view. We drove in through the Paint Creek Corridor which added to the beauty and peace.

My husband and I had the most amazing time at River Magic. The view is incredible, the hot tub was an amazing treat, there's a dirt trail on property that leads to another overlook on the property that is stunning as well! The best was one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in, we will definitely be coming back the soonest chance we have!

We were very pleased with how well this property was kept up and how clean it was. Not even a single bug inside anywhere, not as easy thing to do in the mountains. The view was amazing. It almost looked fake sometimes because it was just too pretty. We brought our motorcycle. We were warned that the driveway was steep and gravel and not suited for motorcycles (and they even sent us pictures of the driveway). We decided to try it anyways. It was doable, but you must be a VERY experienced driver as my husband is. Very much enjoyed exploring the area and all the fun mountain roads.
