Found the greeting very poor customer service

Needed a reading light by the bedside table. Cistern to toilet was not fixed properly to the wall. Bed was a little too firm. However the studio apartment was nicely decorated and we had a good stay.

Very nicely done. And a great back garden for dogs. Pub looked very inviting. Unfortunately we had to be somewhere else in the evening.

The only downside is the very noisy road outside - so double glazing for sound proofing would help.

The location was okay. The bar staff were friendly

Road noise was bad. There was no water in the bathroom in the morning and no one answered or responded to my phone message. Finally, although it sleeps 4 there was only one mug….unless you drink out of tin mugs - there were 2 of them!

Nice big apartment with comfortable bed.

Kitchen was not very well stocked with basic equipment.

Staff were lovely, room was pretty, clean and very comfortable, the private garden at the back was perfect especially for the dog and for sitting with a drink if you didn't want to sit in the pub, easy to find and plenty of parking.

The Studio has a very small kitchenette with no equipment if you want to cook main meals- no kitchen knives, no lids for the saucepans for example- but would be fine if you're eating out. The road is busy and can be noisy.

Location was great. Very picturesque. The accommodation is amazing. The service and food were brilliant. The old world charm was the icing on the cake.

Unclean/tatty appartment, bins not emptied, tea/coffee/sugar/milk/shampoo etc missing, toilet seat broken, very noisy road. Such a shame because the pub itself is gorgeous.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The room was excellent with everything we required. The food was excellent and an excellent selection of drinks. Even the dog enjoyed it.

Friendly staff and lovely welcome. Well appointed apartments with plenty of space and comfortable bed. In my top 2 locations in Stroud to stay, best apartment I have stayed in Stroud however. I will definitely be back in the future.

Rooms are warm though they know this and have fans in the bedrooms to help combat it. Would like there to be a breakfast option even if it was a takeaway offering you can collect in the morning or night prior to keep in the fridge in your apartment.

This apartment could be amazing very large over two floors with two bedrooms nice features and well equipped could be classed as very romantic

the cleanliness needs addressing when we entered the dish washer was full tea towel under sofa in living room some utensils dirty in kitchen floor stained in kitchen, dirty cleaning cloth under sink cooker dirty, old soape on side of bath. I was disappointed and had to clean some areas myself. granted did not inform staff was easier to do it myself

Located in a quiet beautiful location

Easy to locate, staff were really helpful and friendly. The apartment was beautifully set out, clean and I felt safe (woman travelling solo). shower/ bathroom facilities were fantastic, bed had the crispest whitest sheets I’ve ever seen! the living area was amazing!

Beautiful, quirkily decorated little apartment, warm and comfortable, had everything we needed. Very nice meal in the pub. Friendly, helpful young team of staff. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We hadn't realised the pub is on a busy and noisy main road. Fortunately it quietened down overnight.

The appliances in the kitchen could have been cleaner for example the oven could have been professionally cleaned and the fridge/freezer shouldn’t have stains. It’s easy to have these things clean. when they aren’t it gives the person staying the impression that the whole place will be dirty which isn’t necessarily true.

Lovely appartment and great value for money. A good base from which to explore the local area. Based above a pub so what is not to like. Staff super friendly. Good food served and a nice pint of beer. Room super clean and lots of space for three people and a dog.

Of two double beds in our appartment one was old and lumpy and needs replacing. The other was excellent. You can hear the traffic from the main road and if you are a light sleeper you might find it annoying ( I didnt) Also our appartment would not suit a family with young children as its not child proof or adults who find stairs hard to climb. Finally there is parking but if the pub is busy you might find it hard to get a space. Dont however let these minor issues put you off.....its a great place to stay
