Location of the facility is great and I was not deceived by what I read on Booking.com about the location of the facility. I was actually searching for a facility in that location. I very much liked it. The bed in my room was excellent. I can only compare it with beds I have slept on in other five star hotels. Honestly, I was late for breakfast because I had an early morning appointment. On my return however, one of the front hall staffer did everything to let me have a good break fast. In my short stay in Starford, I was able to learn about some historic areas in Sierra Leone as I found out from my conversation with the friendly staff that facility also runs a tour guide - I had very limited time to accept an offer from the management to take me to a Chimpanzee Sanctuary (Tacugama) about 20 minutes away from that Starford facility.

Well, it is obvious that there is nothing like perfection anywhere. So, in the case of Starford facility, I can only suggest efforts to ensure the water pressure in the bathroom is increased. Otherwise the hot/cold water system worked very well for me. The air conditioning is good. I was not too keen on cable news but the TV showed very clean pictures and the sound very audible.

Property was very clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful.

Best hotel we stayed at in Sierra Leone. Great location, well equipped rooms with good AC. The best thing about the hotel though is the staff. The hotel manager was amazing. We had some problems with our PCR test prior to departure and she helped us out a great deal to fix it. We also had some very nice and interesting conversations with her and other members of staff. We can wholeheartedly recommend staying at Stafford Lodge!

Stafford Lodge is a typical American hotel/motel with all the amenities abusiness traveler needs:large soft bed, clean bathroom, a table to write and armchair to sit down, working aircon and, of course, free internet - all for a very affordable price. Not to mention the Owners who undoubtedly contribute to a well being. From the warm wellcome on arrival to the small talk with guests, they will always find time and a good word for their guests. With one word: the atmosphere is cozy and everything is done for the guest to feel like at home. There is also free pareking available and although access is by a rather steep road, one should not get scared away because of that. Staffords, you will see us surely again, whenever we will find ourselves around these parts.

The whole array could be different or better. But the way it is now, suits us just fine.

I loved the owners and staff. They made us feel like family. They were spot on for anything we needed. The offer rides and laundry service. My husband used their full gym almost every morning. A big bonus they have great water pressure and HOT water. The a/c is cold and we got a great view off the balcony. The area is mostly quiet and close to a small grocery and pharmacy. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. I would reccomend this place to anyone traveling to Freetown. This place is great for short or long stays. They also have a great tour called Salone Hidden Gems. They take you to some amazing places. Also worth looking into while you visit.

I enjoyed the hotel very much. I just wished they did better with vegetarian plates. The owners are in the process of training staff for different appetites.

I prefer lunch and dinner over breakfast. The food was great taste and hot served to meet my expectations I even got special requests filled .I love how friendly all staff members are including the owners. Made me feel at home

No telephone are available if u don't have yours but the staff allowed use of hers. The Wi-Fi on and off.everyday we actually request room services on which some days was skipped.lights went out a lot and it was hot and inconvenience. Towels and soap and tissue should be more available but they did bring us as we asked for them.

Staff are friendly 😜 they normally meet our request yh.
