Magnifique chalet de 3 chambres niché sur une route sans issue tranquille sur un grand terrain soutenu par des arbres pour plus d'intimité. Nous sommes à distance de marche des plages de sable, du golf, de la pêche en haute mer, des sentiers de marche et de vélo. Courte distance en voiture pour un dîner raffiné à Dalvay by the Sea ou d'excellents fruits de mer à Richards au quai. Profitez de l'exposition sud sur le pont avant ou dînez et détendez-vous sur le grand pont blindé à l'arrière. Vous pouvez également profiter de la lecture d'un livre ou de votre café du matin sur la terrasse du patio de la chambre principale. Nous sommes à quelques minutes de certaines des belles plages de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard. Vous pouvez déguster une collation au parcours de golf bien connu de Stanhope après une ronde sur ce magnifique parcours. Prenez 15 minutes en voiture de la ville où vous pourrez profiter du théâtre en direct au Centre de la Confédération, des divertissements, des courses de chevaux, du casino, des bars et de nombreux restaurants avec musique live. Very clean and with everything you need, this quiet cottage is the perfect place for a quiet vacation. A short walk through a path will bring you to one of the many beaches of PEI.

The house was impeccably clean and everything we could possibly need was provided - all we needed to bring were food/drink, clothing and personal items. Towels for bath and beach, kitchen supplies, consumables such as dish soap, laundry soap, paper towels, even tea and coffee - everything was there! The cottage is a short walk to a beautiful and quiet beach, and a reasonably short drive (under 30 minutes) from Charlottetown, tourist attractions such as Green Gables, and many excellent places to eat. We aren’t golfers, but a beautiful golf course is a short walk away as well. The area of Stanhope and Brackley Bay is absolutely gorgeous and is right at the entrance to the beautiful national park. The only thing not quite as I pictured was that, while the house was indeed on a quiet, wooded, cul-de-sac, there were several other cottages/houses around and it was more like a quiet neighborhood than a cottage in the woods.

Spent lots of time at the beautiful nearby beaches, took a hike on the Bubbling Springs trail, shopped at the Dunes & ate out at Dalvay-by-the-Sea & the Dunes. Very peaceful & relaxing vacation.

If you want to be centrally located and (roughly) the same travel distance to all parts of the island, this is a good spot to work from.

Excellent weekend at Kathy and Bruce’s cottage. The cottage was immaculate and extremely well stocked. The cottage is spacious and we absolutely loved the screen room. Fabulous beach just a short walk away. Can’t wait to book again.

We had such a great time. Kathy and Bruce were wonderful hosts and super responsive. The place was spotless, kitchen was well equipped, washer and drier are new and helpful for beach towels. We had some rainy days and the house is big enough for games and naps as the bedrooms are all good size and located upstairs. The screened in porch and bbq were excellent for family dinners. This location is superb, a 10-minute walk to beach and there is great biking and walking right outside the front door.

We had an amazing stay at this cottage! It was incredibly spacious and very well equipped!
It was just a short walk to a lovely beach that was nice and quiet. We were there during a heatwave so the upstairs rooms were a tiny bit warm but thankfully the fans and breeze from windows helped a fair bit. We would definitely return in future!

This property is just so perfect! Walking distance to a gorgeous beach! The screened in porch is perfect for meals. Overall a very comfy and lovely spot to stay. Kathy and Bruce are wonderful. I highly recommend!

Our family absolutely loved this cottage! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved eating our meals out on the screen porch.
Kathy and Bruce were great hosts and very responsive to text. They had great suggestions for local activities and restaurants, as well as shopping.

I booked this property for a 4 night stay with my mom and myself to visit PEI. The hosts were amazing and available to answer questions and make suggestions.
The place was very clean, had everything you could need, excellent location for day trips and touring.

This cottage was perfectly located to explore the island. Kathy was wonderful and so helpful to point out things we could add to our adventure and she didn’t mind my excited texts sharing how we were enjoying everything. The porch offered a wonderful place to eat our breakfast before we started our busy fun-filled days and going to sleep listening to the ocean was the best way to end each day. The cottage had everything we needed and the beds were so comfortable. We are so blessed to have found this treasure and we can’t wait to stay here again. Thanks Kathy and Bruce!

We were very impressed with this property and its hosts., Kathy and Bruce. The property was as advertised and communication between us and the hosts was exceptional. The cottage, itself, was immaculate, spacious and very well stocked with items that we didn’t even expect. It was a short walk to a nearby beach. I highly recommend !

Upon arrival we were happy before even going inside. The area is lovely, the yard is nice and large for the kids to play, everything was so clean and neat. My oldest loved the board games to play at night, the screened in porch is relaxing and lovely for dinner. It was wonderful to have a washer and dryer with young kids as well. We would definitely stay again, we had a wonderful time! Thank you!

I just returned from a wonderful week in PEI. I travelled with a group of friends and loved Stanhope and of course the cottage we stayed at. The home has been recently renovated and is lovely. There is a beautiful screened in porch off the back of the house where we spent most of our down time. The location is in a great location if you like beaches, golfing or plan on visiting Charlottetown which is only 25 minutes away. The home had everything we needed and the owners were very helpful!!! Perfect location for a week in PEI.
My friend and I spent a week in this lovely cottage in Stanhope. What a great experience. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. The cottage is comfortable and had everything we needed including excellent wifi. The location is central and allowed us easy access to all parts of the island. Only a 25 minute drive to Charlottetown as well. We highly recommend this cottage.

Super host, beautiful home, great location
Our family of five (3 kids under 8) had so much fun on our stay here! The house and hosts were so good! We loved the (very!) well-equipped kitchen, the bunk beds for kids, washer/dryer, screened in porch, nice-sized living room, etc. The walk to the beach is easy and you’re in close driving proximity to so many highlights of the island. The hosts were always available and super accommodating!! There were so many nice added touches like detergent, extra towels and beach towels, a pantry for food storage, lots of wall hooks, games, books, etc. I can’t say enough good things! We’d return in a heartbeat.

Spectacular Week
Stanhope is my favorite family community in PEI. The cottage was absolutely perfect for a family of four. Great cottage, very clean, everything worked, wonderfully location, perfect walk to the beach and the very responsive caring owners down the lane. Thank you for this. We hope to return next summer.

Highly Recommended - 5 stars all around!
The central location of this lovely cottage made it a great jumping off point for exploring the island. The cottage is nice and private, very clean with comfortable beds and a nice electric fireplace to warm you up after golf or a day exploring. Kathy and Bruce were excellent hosts and we immediately felt like we were staying at a friend's cottage. This was our first visit to PEI but definitely won't be our last. If you are looking for a great place for your family to stay on this island, this is it!

Helpful hosts
The cottage was well appointed, very clean and adequate for our party of 6 senior adults. One bathroom and the single beds in one of the bedrooms would have been very good for children. Our hosts were very supportive in helping us cope with hurricane Dorian which left us without electricity for our 2nd evening and night. Unfortunately we cut our visit short by a day because of damages to our cottage in NB.

Wonderful spot in Stanhope
I've been visiting PEI for decades, and rented several different spots in Stanhope over the years. By far, this has been our favorite cottage. It's actually roomier than the pictures make it seem. Plenty of space for my wife and our three teenagers (and, important to them, problem-free wifi). Very well supplied kitchen, more so than any others we've rented.
Porch is large and a great spot to eat and read. Big yard for outside activities. Private setting, but you also feel like you're part of a neighborhood. Easy access to the beach and walkway along the bay.
You won't find friendlier hosts than Kathy and Bruce. We didn't have any reason to reach out to them during our stay, but it was nice knowing they were right down the street if anything came up.

Perfect home away from home!
We were visiting PEI for the first time and enjoyed our stay in Stanhope. We found it close to the ocean and many attractions, just a short drive to Charlottetown. The cottage was perfect, room to relax with a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds provided a great nites sleep.
Kathy and Bruce are great hosts as well.

Great House in a fantastic location- great hosts!
We enjoyed the house very much. It has everything you need and is comfortable and in a great location- near beautiful beaches (you can even walk to Ross Lane Beach) and only about 20 minutes to Charlottetown. The house is even nicer that the photos make it look, you will be pleased! The owners were welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this house to others- quick side note- mosquitoes on PEI are notorious- so bring bug spray!

Excellent vacation!
Kathy and Bruce were very welcoming, gracious hosts. The house was more than we expected and all five of us (2 adults, 3 children) were very comfortable with the house and the surroundings. The house was extremely clean and well equipped. The location is great- close to many beaches but only about 20 minutes from Charlottetown. Hopefully we will be able to return sometime soon as we didn't want to leave! Thanks, Kathy and Bruce!

Lovely cottage!
Very clean, well equipped cottage on a quiet lane. The owners take great pride to ensure a comfortable stay. Two of the bedrooms have very comfortable queen beds and the third room has bunk beds. Great kitchen. Big yatd for the kids to play and favourite part was a very private large screened in porch to enjoy meals and night caps. Lovely stay!

We had a wonderful time in PEI visiting family! Staying at your cottage made our stay so much more memorable! Cottage seriously has everything you need, even items you would never suspect. Will definitely stay again and tell everyone about our stay!
