Just back from our break while visiting family. Lovely little house, very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed.

The property was well appointed and very clean. It was really helpful having towels, toiletries, kitchen consumables and on road parking outside. The owner was really helpful when I couldn't find his message with the door code and sent it again. There are shops, takeaways and a pub nearby.

The front path is a little uneven and I missed a little step a couple of times.

Cosy cottage home from home. Comfortable beds nice living space and a garden. Quiet area with parking, local shops and restaurants and good access to the fantastic sights and places. Host very easy to get hold of and very quick to respond, very friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

Property was very clean. Public transport was great bus stop across the road Durham same side to Sunderland.

The garden was very over grown especially the hedge around the property which let the property down.

The rooms were quite large, the decor was fine, kitchen well equipped.

Overall it was fine, very clean, they left us all the essentials and some biscuits which was a very nice thought. The lounge area is chilly eventhough we turned the heating up. No blackout curtains in any of the bedrooms, in the back single bedroom there is a security light at the neighbours which comes on which lights up the bedroom. The double bed is made of metal and is so noisy ever time you either sit on it or move, I would have woken myself up when moving in the night and even woke my daughter up in the next bedroom, so I could not sleep in it and moved to the other single bedroom. I think the double bed needs replacing.

Location was fab, felt really homely. All the facilities and equipment we would possibly need! Couldn't believe the free biscuits and tea on arrival, it was very appreciated. All the little things they did really made the stay extra nice. I would thoroughly recommend people staying if they're ever in this neck of the woods.

The internet was a little patchy when the 2 of us used it, but this is in no way the fault of the home owner! (the internet provider must have just had an off day) It was a fantastic home overall if you ignore that little foible.
