Eli Panajachel is located in a beautiful quiet street, but is still a 2 minutes' walk away from the centre of Panajachel. The garden is beautiful, the kitchen is really good, the staff are very helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere is really uplifting. Eli, the owner-manager of the hotel was really kind to us, even walking with us to our shuttle stop at 4.45am and waited with us until our shuttle arrived at 5am.

Some of the curtains should be replaced.

Location- close to the bus stop to Sololá and cheap Local market. Price was good.

Many dogs barking during the night. Not so comfortable for sleeping. They have very late check-in. After 3.30pm.

The location was the best part, but nothing special. Lamp by the nightstand was nice. Hot shower.

Since I had to make 2 separate reservations, but this one is asking me for a review as well, my other review has more detailed information about my stay. Lack of supplies in the kitchen, had to always ask for drinking water and matches. No soap in the bathroom except one day when I asked, but it was finished by the end of the day. Communication with staff on booking and over the phone needs to improve.

I love the man that manage this place. He was one of the most kind people I met in this travel. In 5am he wait with me in the street for my shuttle. and the location is very very good. U are so close to the center, but it's small street and very quit.

The rooms are so so so small.... and not really beautiful... In one room I had good bed, and then I change room and the bed wasn't good.... so..

Nice location near the market and pickup trucks to Santa Catarina and San Antonio. About a 15 minute walk from the dock and main gringo area. Juan was the most helpful of the staff. Hot shower. Small table lamp by the bed, so I didn't have to get up to turn the light off!

Could feel the springs on the mattress. I folded the 2 blankets over a few times and set them in the middle of the bed and it helped. I used my own big scarf as a blanket and it worked fine. The kitchen has 1 fork and 1 cutting knife, no big pots or strainers for pasta. The fridge is quite small and half was occupied by a giant tub of some pink liquid when I was there. Had to ask for matches often. No soap for the bathroom sinks. I asked a few times, but only saw it put there once and it lasted 1 day. Thankfully I travel with hand sanitizer, but I shouldn't have to rely on that. They also give you toilet paper for yourself, which could be a pro or a con depending what you like. The walls are thin. 3 of the 4 nights I stayed, there were whole families who stayed there, talking loud/playing loud music late into the night. The one night they played their music loud past midnight. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay, this isn't it. Or maybe I had bad luck staying over a weekend. Another problem with the big families staying is the kitchen is tiny with only 1 small table. Whenever the families were there, they took up the entire kitchen, all the chairs and the small table. I don't like eating on my bed, but I had no other choice most times. The families might have been random, but it was clear to me this was a hotel that attracted big families. So if you like personal space, quiet, or a place to eat outside your bedroom, be prepared for the possibility of none of that if you end up here when entire families are also here. Shut and lock your door because they will stare or walk right in if they see it open, and in my case they did not walk away after I yelled at them. When I first arrived in Panajachel, I followed the directions on google maps and it looked like it was leading me to a dead end. I walked in a few circles until I called. The woman who answered spoke some English, so I spoke English.

Everything is very old and neglected. Uncomfortable beds and pillows, no hot water, WiFi didn't work.

Good option for a night in Panajachel. Location is good, near the main streets but in a quieter area. Rooms are comfortable and it was nice to have a shared kitchen for making breakfast.

Shared shower (only 1) wasn't very clean and toilets can use a bit more privacy. Kitchen definitely needs more utensils.

Comfortable room, clean bed linens. Very lovely staff and helpful. They accommodated us even when we had many changes in our plans and asked for extra nights. Hot showers and common kitchen. Nice environment with green. Nearby restaurants, supermarkts and the touristic street. Extra tip, try the small family restaurant at the entrance of the hostel street, he has the best barbeque we had with very decent price.

The location is very good. The staff was super nice and helpful. The kitchen is ok. Hot shower and enough bathrooms. The room was big and the beds were comfortable. The WiFi works everywhere in the property.

We booked a room with two doble beds, we got with two single beds. For one night wasn't problem but maybe there is a mistake in Booking. Cutlery was missing and we needed to ask extra for it.

lovely people, they welcomed us late at night and were super helpful. cheap and quick laundry service. only 1 shower and 2 toilets for the full place but to stay 1 night it’s clearly enough. it was super useful after a long day trip crossing the border. we’ve been able to leave our luggage while we were visiting the city.

Staff were friendly and welcoming, gave us an earlier check-in. Bed was clean and comfortable.

We booked a room with two double beds and got a room with two single beds initially and then moved to a room with one double bed after asking. Kitchen didn’t have basic things like spoons for cereal.
