The apartment was clean, and check-in and out was super easy. It was peaceful sitting on the back bench watching the deer in the afternoon. If you like a firm bed, you will be happy here. It was way too hard for me, and I woke up sore every morning. We did not have upstairs neighbors until the last night. Footsteps could be heard and the bed frame squeaking. I had a white nose maker that helped, but it was still pretty loud over the white noise. There are 2 windows in the bedroom. One of them has blinds over it, the other just has a thin curtain over it that lets in too much light in the mornings. If you want to sleep in, bring something to block out the window or a sleep mask. We mostly enjoyed our stay there, but it would be so much better with a quality mattress and blinds over the bedroom window.

Erin's Escape was very nice. Enjoyed the landscaping and bench near the creek. The hot tub was very relaxing. The location is perfect for walking to main street. The folks upstairs were a but heavy footed and TV loud so we could hear them through the ceiling. Overall a very good experience.

It was a beautiful and relaxing place except for the people in the room above sounded like heard of elephants at time. Hot tub was a bonus. I would recommend changing out the window in bedroom to a door. That would make easy access to hot tub. However I'm very disappointed that I booked a bed and breakfast but there was no breakfast. And if there was one there was no information on where it would be. . That's the whole reason I chose to book b&b s. It's very misleading.

No water for the coffee maker; soap suds in the hot tub; musty smell upon entering; neighbors above us were very loud when walking. Sounded like they were stomping.

We had a wonderful stay. We had everything we could possibly need - coffee, cozy robes, very nice bathroom with all toiletries, extremely comfortable bed. The hot tub was perfect. The only thing that could be improved is the couch. We wanted to relax and watch a movie, but the couch was very very uncomfortable.

We stayed 2 nights midweek at Erin's Escape and it could not have been better! It's an easy 2 block walk off Main Street. The property is clean and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. There is a deer feeder adjacent to the property which allowed us to watch the deer at dinnertime from our patio. Super relaxing. Highly recommend! We will be back for sure!

A great view from cottage. Would suggest better signage for locations of each cottage, ie. Behind parking, down steps to right, street level, etc. Great location to downtown area. Cottage a little stuffy...could use a good airing out prior to each stay. We saw and disposed of one cockroach. The steps down to creek area may be difficult for elderly or those with disabilities. Advising of steps prior to rental should be described in description. We did enjoy our stay, but wanted to make these suggestions.

We really loved our stay. The place is very cute and comfortable. The first day we arrived the hot tub wasn’t working but after making contact, it was working the next day.
Some of the lightbulbs seemed to be burnt out. Other than that we were quite pleased.

Pros:
The outside is amazing! The hot tub was amazing and private, the view is beautiful, the porch swing overlooking the creek was our fave.
The inside was clean. The bathroom is great. Great big shower. Nice heater in it. Great location. Right next to Hill & Vine, and walking distance to coffee shops and boutiques.
Cons:
There isn’t a TV in the bedroom. The only TV is in the living room, and it’s not a smart TV. So no Netflix or anything. We wanted to chill and watch a movie, but couldn’t. So that was a bummer. There was a bit of cable, but a lot of the channels weren’t working.
If there are people staying in the place above you, you will hear everything. Sounded like they were having a dance party at one point. We just turned up the TV, or went outside to the hot tub.
Overall, we had a great time.

We had a wonderful stay at this cute place. It is great walking distance to the town. The resident cat was an adorable surprise! Hot tub worked wonderfully and the creek was relaxing. Overall a great stay and our favorite part was the cat!

Half eaten moldy strawberries left in fridge, dirt under bed buuuuuut the icing on the cake were the roaches scurrying when we came back from dinner. We were able to kill two( the rest got away for you guys to tackle if you want) property manager said “it is just a cleaning issue” and didn’t understand why we did not want to continue our stay there?!

Had a wonderful time. The site was well prepared for us and included everything we could possibly want. It was very clean and included such things as towels for the outside hot tub. My wife and I enjoyed it tremendously. The only problem was that the tenants above us were very intrusive, and kept peering from their balcony at us as we were in the hot tub the first night we were there. To do this they had to get to the edge of their porch and crane their heads to be able to see into the hot tub area so they were intentionally snooping. It was dark but we could see their heads They were gone by the second night so they did not bother us thereafter. I would suggest a light soft screen to be hung to the entrance to the hot tub area of Erin's Escape to keep nosy people from snooping. But we did not let these idiots detract from our vacation. We had a fine relaxing experience. We will be back at some time in the future to recreate again at this wonderful location.

The property was very clean. Well stocked with shampoos, soaps, K-cups for coffee, sugar, etc. It is a couple blocks off Main Street, which isn't a big deal, but there are not sidewalks the whole way coming and going. Would recommend this property to a friend.

Nice quaint little place! Close enough to town but feel of the country side. Hot tub was the best after long days out and about….&yes a hot tub in the 100+ degree heat was nice with the cool breeze off the trees and creek.

Very pretty & peaceful area to stay. A park-like setting with creek, trees & deer. The only issue we had was getting all the TV channels on Spectrum. The owner called in a service call to Spectrum to reboot the service but it never improved. The kitchen area could have been supplied with salt/pepper packets or shakers but other than that, everything was very nice. For elderly visitors to stay there it’s a little unhandy to walk down the rock steps from the car to unload & ten walk down to the rental but other than that it’s was really nice & beautifully landscaped. A plus is having covered parking even thou it was hard for us yo unload & walk up & down the rocked incline. Would recommend mentioning this in the rental description for either handicapped or elderly.
We would recommend this rental for location, price & cleanliness.

The location was great. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was a nice size. Unfortunately, there was a very unpleasant strong musty/mildew smell that hits you when you open the door.
The refrigerator was fine, but no ice available.
Didn’t use the hot tub, but the swing was nice.
The stairs down to the lodging were a bit steep.

We were greeted by deer the first evening and saw them daily. The setting was peaceful - deer, fireflies and the creek. A very nice place to land after the bustle of the day.

We liked Kellys Creekside Erins Escape. The location is great - only two blocks from the main street. The outside was very pretty. My only complaint is that when there were people in the cabin above, it was very noisy when they were walking around. I would definately stay here again.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at the hideaway by the creek. It was our first time in Fredericksburg and it was great to be able walk into downtown. We enjoyed the Pioneer museum and the Museum of the Pacific. We also enjoyed sitting on the porch swing in the evenings after dinner. Wonderful little spot in Fredericksburg.

Absolute Charm in Erin's Escape was such a beautiful escape from city living. The location was perfect! A very short walk to Main Street, but you could still see so many deer in the creek splashing around. It was so charming & Elaine went above & beyond for us. I could talk to her all day, she was that fabulous! It was super clean & I'm very particular when it comes to rentals & hotels. We were very impressed & exceeded our expectations! We will definitely be back next year!
