Great location for walks and local

It was clean and fresh. It was a modernised old place showing traditional features.
Little details like matches for the log fire with wood and coal, everything stick and span, nothing left out.

Hay barn was beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was amazing. It had everything I needed. Very quiet and peaceful place to stay in. Views from Hay Barn are very scenic.

The property location was great, right on the side of the canal.
Firstly, I wasn't told the key code. Luckily the reception for the marina was open and a worker showed me to the property and he knew the key code. There was NO hairdryer or broom to sweep the floor as we had a dog with us and was aware of dog's hair.

The barn was located close to shops and to restaurants. We recommend the Sicilian restaurant nearby for dinner (a bit pricey but the food is delicious) and the pub near the high street for breakfast. The barn was very comfortable and we found wood ready for the wood burner on arrival.

Lovely cottage and an excellent location on the canal. Lots of lovely countryside walks close by and short walk to the centre of New Mills. Just what we wanted for a short last minute break.
