Excellent

This flat is perfectly positioned in the centre of Val Tho - ski hire shop literally beneath us - ski pass and supermarket 30 metres away! Boot room directly onto cafe terrace and the slopes. It was very well equipped with everything we needed. Isabelle was a very attentive host and kept in close communication before and during our stay. The "double double" glazing made the flat super warm and quiet. Everything was better than expected. I would strongly recommend this flat to anyone going to Val Tho.

The apartment itself is well furnished, in my opinion, overfurnished for a rental property, with clutter everywhere that just gets in the way of hosting an advertised 5 people. For you to use all the beds you will lose full use of the living space as they take up the entire area, making it very difficult to move around. The area surrounding the apartment is part of the main Val Thorens strip so expect it to be loud and anyone sleeping in the main area to struggle as around 3am the drunks come out. The person in charge of handing the keys is not a very responsive gentleman so don't expect him to show up on time to hand over the keys, he was 40 minutes late for us. He told us that should we have any issues, we are to call him. Not two days in we encountered an issue with hot water. There was not enough for 5 people. This was not mentioned anywhere so I thought it best to call the person managing the apartment, after a few grunts he hung up on me without providing a resolution. This led to a whole evening without hot water. I sent an email to the owner of the apartment and they explained that there's a switch by the front door that you have to set to 1 if you want the water to reheat actively, if not it'll do it overnight. Seems like pretty important information to me that was not provided. Overall the apartment is not in any way suitable for 5 people, the location is loud and busy, the management is poor but it will do the job if you can't find anything better.
