We traveled with 5 super picky teenage boys. They all agreed that this was our best vacation yet. The walkability to the beach and pool and town PLUS all the house’s amenities made this such an easy and fun trip for everyone! We all had room to spread out and chill. Already trying to figure out when we can get back here! Thanks for making the grown ups the heroes this time!

Staying at 'My Happy Place' is a wonderful experience from start to finish!
The house is exactly as described and full of 'just what you need to feel at home' items. The house is incredibly well appointed and in the perfect location to be able to walk and/or bike to Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. The Seacrest Community is impeccable clean and easy to get around--and the pool! (WOW). You also have access to the main beach across the street.
Angela is the ultimate hostess. She responds quickly and kindly to every question and/or concern.
Overall, this was one of the best VRBO experiences we have had in over 25 years and hope to return someday.

Well-maintained property with lots of built-in extras like bikes and beach equipment. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful both before and during our stay. Great location and would definitely stay there again!

The home itself is very nice and clean. It was perfect for our family. The furniture is very comfortable and overall a cozy vibe. The kitchen was very well stocked with appliances. Unfortunately, we had several issues with the security at Secrest. It got to the point where we were being harassed by them for a variety of things that we did not know we were supposed to do. It was not made extremely clear to us about the extensive check in process With the community that you have to go through in order to park your car and use the pools. We were very confused several times with what color wristbands were the correct ones we were supposed to be wearing. It was very frustrating to have to deal with consistent interactions with security when we were just trying to enjoy a very , relaxing family vacation. If this house was located in Rosemary, we would definitely come back and stay here but unfortunately, we do not have any plans to visit the community of Seacrest again due to its overbearing security and rules and regulations.

The house was spacious and beautifully decorated. I have never stayed anywhere that was as well stocked with extras. The chairs, beach towels, kitchen items, coffee bar, and bikes. We spent so much time on the front porch! Perfect spot to hang out. Hope we can stay there again in the future.

This house was perfect for our two families that equaled 9. It does only have one king bed but my husband and I don’t mind sharing a queen. The mattresses were VERY comfy!
This house has everything! No need to bring much besides your swimwear. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook, including spices.
My only complaint was the beach. There is a small section of beach for the whole community and nearly impossible to get a spot near the front. Most days we opted to skip the beach until 4 or so when the crowds subsided.
Also note the tram only runs from 9am - 530pm. But the walk from the house to the beach isn’t bad at all about 5 minutes each way.
You also can not bring anything with wheels into the community ( which is across the street) on the beach side. No bikes, buggies, wheeled ice chest. None of it.
So overall for the price and location I say it’s a great rental!

We loved this house for it's size and location. The big front porch was our favorite hang out place in the evenings. They had plenty of beach towels, chairs and toys for the kids to use at the beach. It was clean and the owners were easy to get ahold of when needed. Plenty of room for a big group to hang out inside as well. It's a short walk to the pool, and shops. We would definitely stay here again. The only slightly negative thing I would say is the decor is somewhat dated and could use some updating. Other than that, this house is perfect.

We have been coming to 30a for years and this was hands down our favorite. The proximity to the pool and shops was great for our group of teenagers. They had the freedom to walk and hang out all they wanted. They house was a perfect size and the front deck was great for a nightly cocktail. The hosts we really easy to work with. There was a few minor issues that I had to contact them about. They were quick to respond and a pleasure to work with. We would recommend this place to anyone with a family!

Everything about this beautiful home was awesome. House is fully stocked with everything you need. Pool is just steps away. My wife and family have been coming to 30A for seven years. We’ve rented properties in Rosemary and Seacrest, and this was our favorite for many reasons. For one, it’s perfect for our growing family (three kids under 5). Second, it’s in a perfec spot - convenient to everything, but not in a busy spot if you have a young family. The pool was literally a 30 second walk away, and the tram was always quick to get us to the beach.
One thing that stood out was how well-appointed the home was. When we travel, we expect to have to buy everything - dishwasher soap, paper towels, etc. Not only did this rental have all those things, it even had the extras - pool/beach toys, kitchen supplies like plastic freezer baggies, and even some odd & end grocery supplies like cooking oil, bottled water, k-cup Pods, plastic ware, laundry supplies, etc.
To top it off, the owner was incredibly kind and responsive. We look forward to coming back - as our toddlers cried when we left, “we don’t want to leave our beach house!” Thanks to Angela and Todd for a wonderful place to stay.

Our family loved staying here. We have been going to 30A for several years, and we all thought this was the best place. The living room was large, and the kitchen was big enough to accommodate our family to enjoy cooking together.
We spent every morning sitting on the porch enjoying our coffee. The pool is steps away, and the tram stop is very close to the home to transport us to the beach.
The owners were very responsive and nice to speak to over a minor problem. We will be back again.

Vrbo’s interface didn’t communicate properly and I rent often for employees. The owner however was so quick to respond and get us set up. No daily of the owner or home. Vrbo needs better processes. House was clean, close to everything and we enjoyed our time.

The perfect host
When they say this house has everything you need, they aren't lying. The beach chairs and umbrellas were so nice to have and they were in excellent shape. The kids loved biking, hanging on the front porch, and that we were only a short distance to the pool! I messaged Angel to let her know about a fan that was not working in the house and within a few hours she had two fans and a bag of candy delivered right to the house! Absolutely the best host I've dealt with in quite sometime!!

We have stayed in Seacrest 9 times now in 5 different houses. My Happy Place was definitely one of our favorites! Loved the open living space on the first floor! We spent lots of time on the front porch! It was probably the best stocked rental that I have ever stayed in...has everything that you need! And the location is awesome! Close to the pool and half circle! Would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful home!
This house was great—plenty of room, beautifully decorated, comfortable , and well-furnished. The pool area was huge and so nice. We were able to enjoy it even when chairs were not available because there were wide ledges and steps around the perimeter of the pool. The only complaint I had was the crowded beach!

House Perfect, Beach Not So Much
The house is lovely and the extras take it a step up. Beach towels, pool chairs, and life-saving umbrellas were all provided in addition to 2 more bikes than were promised in the listing. This in no way takes away from the house, but the current beach privacy laws in Florida had us fighting for space on a sliver of beach with swaths of gorgeous empty sand marked private all around. The beach experience did not match the 5-star stay.

Wonderful stay at My Happy Place. The host Angela could not have been more helpful. Very accessible and responded quickly! Arrived early and accommodated us with a place to put luggage and got us in as soon as was possible. We needed to replenish necessities (paper towels …etc) however coffee was available and it was equipped with everything g you might need for dinners in house. Location is A+++ with a stop outside the door which will take you to beach. A very short walk to the pool. We were very pleased with our stay at this lovely cottage.

Great week!
We had the BEST time in Seacrest at My Happy Place. House was great and well appointed with bikes, beach needs and kitchen items. We were a little hesitant to stay across the street from the beach, as we have stayed for many years in a condo beachside. We were looking for a bit more space and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised how quick and easy the tram to the beach was and appreciated being in a neighborhood that was quiet and relaxing. Angela was very responsive when we had a small issue that was quickly resolved. Would definitely recommend and hope we can return soon.

Family Beach Trip
This is a great property with many wonderful amenities. The kitchen is well appointed and stocked. We loved having access to bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and beach towels during our stay. We biked or walked almost everywhere and did not need our car to get around. The pool, beach, shops and restaurants are all nearby. The tram stops just feet from the house making it super convenient to get to and from the beach. One of our favorite spots of the house is the front porch for sitting and relaxing. Communication with Angela and Todd was amazing. Angela is super responsive and great to work with. If we find ourselves back in Seacrest again we will definitely be looking to see if this house is available.

Great Home
My family (5 of us) stayed at My Happy Place over spring break. The home and location were fantastic. Angela is a great host. Communication and check in process was simple. The house has plenty of space on the inside and the porch area in the front is sooo relaxing. Kids rooms worked out well and the top floor is a nice getaway spot for them. What was most appreciated is how well stocked the house was. Kitchen has essentials, plenty of good cookware/utensils, a coffee bar area, and tons of dishes/glassware. There are a bunch of good beach chairs, towels, coolers, beach toys, bikes, etc. You name it and the house provides. It’s a great place. We felt like welcome guests and not just renters.
The only drawback was how crowded the Seacrest community was. It was difficult finding a chair at the pool area and practically every square inch of beach was taken up by noon. Unfortunately a good chunk of the community’s beach is used by a chair/umbrella rental business.
That being said I’d return to the area and wouldn’t hesitate for a second in renting My Happy Place. Thanks for a great stay!

My Happy Place was Fabulous!
We had an excellent vacation and our stay at My Happy Place was wonderful! Angela and her husband have created such a great place to enjoy the sun, beach and pool! The house had everything we could ever ask for and it was stocked with all the items required for our stay! Angela thought of everything! Before we left, I asked Angela if she had back gammon. Her reply was no, but I will have one waiting for you when you arrive!!! Wow! We had trouble with the grill and she sent someone to replace the starter and they also brought new grill grates! She provided excellent customer service! The house was clean and very cozy! We especially loved the porch for our morning coffee! I highly recommend My Happy Place for your beach vacation! We will be booking again!

Lovely home
Staying in Angela's home is like staying in a hug. The front porch is so inviting. Then when you walk in the wood beams on the ceiling are so warm and beachy. Angela has thought of everything.... bikes available, lots of towels, even a pump for pool toys and the bikes. There are tons of seasonings and little things you may need. She has an amazing coffee set up with 6 keurig starter cups for you, sugars, flavored syrups and even a frother.
The location in terms of getting to the pool, beach and Rosemary or Alyce is fantastic. We biked everywhere.
We stayed in the height of summer, so obviously the pool and beach were a madhouse. More than once we couldn't find 2 chairs at the pool. And the beach was like nothing I've ever seen. The chair vendor takes up 98% of the beach (of the section that isn't private) and if you bring your own beach chairs there's a very small section available for you. We ended up often spending our days exploring and then doing the pool and beach in the early evenings. If you love the beach, my recommendation to you is to rent the vendor chairs as far in advance as possible.
As all of the reviews will tell you, the front porch is the heart of this home. We spent so much time out there.
We loved this home but felt like it really needs a deep clean. The floors were actually super clean (which is huge for a beach house) but the vents and overhead fans had super thick, hanging dust, there were black spots on the master shower grout and layers of dust throughout the window ledges in kitchen and home. Also some stains on the bedding. We did not bring this up with Angela, as I know she would probably have sent someone out right away. We actually vacuumed the vents and cleaned the shower grout so we were okay with that. The only other negative is that master bedroom does not cool down like the rest of the house, making it a bit uncomfortable.
The wonderful things about this house far outweigh anything negative. We actually stayed in 30A for 3 weeks at 3 different homes and we all agree this was our favorite. Especially the location. And the porch. Did I mention the porch ;)

My Happy Place is indeed a happy place!
My Happy Place is a lovely beach home, and we enjoyed a great vacation with our now college-aged children and my mother-in-law. The beach is just a short walk or tram ride from the house, and we had great weather the entire week. There are shops and restaurants just a short walk away at Rosemary Beach, and there are many 30A restaurants just a short drive away. The owners contacted me before check-in, and they were very welcoming and helpful. We had a lot of fun just sitting on the front porch during our week at My Happy Place. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a great get away!

The Perfect Spot with the Perfect Porch
We are regulars to 30A and Seacrest and we absolutely loved this house. The location was by far the best in Seacrest we've ever had - super close to the pool, stores/restaurants, and the beach. You could easily take the beach tram, but many of us opted to take the very short walk each day. The hosts were super quick to communicate with any questions, and the house is incredibly well stocked. Oh, and the porch. The porch was perfect - we began and ended our evening there each day!

Perfect house
We stayed at Happy Place for a week with our family. Ages from 22 months to 61 years. It was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Because of the littles we ate in most of our meals so we loved the well equipped kitchen. The roomy front porch was perfect! It was located very close to the pool and the walk to the beach. All the beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys we could possibly need. The decor was cute too! Thanks for sharing your house!

Exceeded expectations
I rarely write a review but this stay exceeded our expectations. Truly a gem. The house was beautiful and sparkling clean. Walking distance to the beach but the trolley was available and very quick. The neighborhood is so nice. We rode the bikes or walked to coffee shop or restaurants. We will be back! Very family friendly!

“My Happy Place” was perfect! The house was so comfortable and we were able to relax! The house is in a prime location. We were in walking distance to all the fun. The house is beautiful and well appointed. We didn’t need a thing.
