The condo was great. Top floor. Amazing view. Clean. Well equipped. We literally had everything we needed. The owner Norman was on point with communication. Answered questions quickly and ensured that our access to the condo and resort was trouble free. The complex is gated with a security person controlling entry. We felt safe. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at Norman’s condo. We absolutely loved the location, beach club and Los Sueños resort. There was tons to do close to condo. I was traveling with my husband and 3 daughters. Everyone had their own space and having laundry in the condo was so helpful. Norman was a wonderful communicator and gave great recommendations.

Great stay at Norman’s rental. He was excellent with the communication. The property has a great view, you can hear the ocean in the distance and plenty of birds flying around. Super close to Herradura and the marina.

My family of 5 really enjoyed staying at this property. It was right inside the entrance to Los Suenos and a very short drive to the beach club, several restaurants and the marina. We saw monkeys, a sloth and scarlet macaws right on property. The pools were pristine and the view from this condo is extraordinary. We had a great time and would stay here again.

We loved the place from the moment we walked it. Well maintained, very clean and quiet! The view was amazing and the sunsets are a must see. The host was outstanding! We loved the condo in Herradura. Norman was available to call and help us through a minor suitcase lock emergency. Everything was quite clean and up to date. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. It was nice to have a washer/dryer to run a few loads. Each morning, we sat on the balcony to enjoy our coffee, tea, and gorgeous view of the bay. Having the pass for the Beach Club was wonderful. We would love to stay here again.

this is an AMAZING place, within a fantastic complex with every amenity you could ever want. We loved the pools and how close they are, we loved the beach club, the swim up bar, driving golf carts around, eating out on the beach watching the sunset, early morning delightful coffee stop as well as the tours we did! We will be back and hopefully stay here again! The house is clean, comfortable, and has everything we needed. Norman was super helpful and kind. thanks for the great time!

Communication with the property manager was top-notch! Norman provided many recommendations for transportation and nearby excursions in addition to information about the Condo.
Linens and towels were readily available and the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The condo is clean and was spacious for our group of four adults.
The nearby marina has plenty to offer, including a small grocery store and two banks. The coffee shop has some good brews, pastries, and gelato.
I certainly will have no reservations about renting here again!

Beautiful views from thia property. Very spacious and safe. Grocery shopped at a local grocery store which had lots of local food and American options as well. We rented gold carts which made it a lot easier to get to get around the resort. The pool at the condo was never crowded. The beach club is also beautiful with ocean access and swim up bar. Great service there! Shopped at Jaco beach strip, lots of shops and restaurants, amazing. We did encounter lots of traffic going to a few places, allow extra time for getting place to place. Local farmers markets fruits and veggies were delicious! Great trip highly recommend this area and property!

We stayed at Norman's wonderful condo four nights in late June/early July. Los Suenos is a delightful community. We used Norman's golf cart and rented a second for our family of 8. We used the golf cart to get some necessities at the store but mostly ate dinner out at the many restaurants nearby. On site there are several restaurants at the Marriot or the Marina (both about 1 mile away by road. Off property (about 1/2 mile - walkable) are several other restaurants (Coco's and several others including a soda). The beach club is amazing with a swim up bar and a soccer field nearby where we played and saw Macaws. Norman responded quickly to anything we asked. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to stay there.

This condo was immaculate, spacious, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The furniture is comfortable and the decor looks professionally done.
Our favorite parts were sitting on the balcony with our coffee in the morning, and watching the spectacular sunsets in the evening. Very quiet and peaceful.
We really enjoyed having the use of the golf cart and the pass to the beach club. The entire property is clean and well-maintained.
We ate at HookedUp, very good; and Al Fresco at the beach club, also good.
The owner answered all our questions promptly, and gave clear, specific info regarding check-in.
(Note, this condo is on the third floor and there isn't an elevator.)

Norman condo was perfect for our group. It’s was very clean, well appointed, comfortable, and close to everything! Having the golf cart allowed us to get around town easily as well. We even used Normans recommended driver for transfers. Great place to stay with all of the amenities ! We will be back

I attempted to resolve this matter offline, but the conversation turned sour quickly and Norman ended the phone call threatening me that if I went forward with writing a review that he would be retaliating. Nevertheless, I think there needs to be some accountability for the issues that my wife and I encountered during our stay, and hopefully this review triggers a response that will ultimately lead to a positive experience for future guests if they choose to book this property.
Los Suenos resort is great. Great pools, plenty of dining options on and near the resort. Very safe. Unfortunately, this condo is not currently in a condition fitting of the title of "luxury condo". Its very dated, and it appears the owner has put a minimal effort into the general upkeep of the property. Just enough to get by.
Below is a detailed list of the concerns we ran into:
Kitchen/Laundry area
Dead termites/larvae in the wall.
Mold growing in the pictures on the wall.
Dirt/scuff on the wall
Crumbs on the counter/floor
Broken microwave handle with gobs of superglue on the handle
Old/worn cookware and dishes- not suitable for enjoying a homemade meal
Living Room
Crumbs on couch
Ceiling fan light was broken/superglued
Master Bedroom
Sheets were dirty. when we pulled them back there was hair and crumbs in the sheets
Bathrooms
Counters had scum from where previous tenants used their toiletries
Dirt/scuff on the doors
I reached out to Norman and he offered to have a cleaning crew come in the next morning. They were there promptly and cleaned the sheets, floors, and counters. It was enough to where we felt comfortable staying.
I later messaged Norman and requested a "partial" reimbursement considering the conditions such as the termites and the general poor condition of the condo. He got very defensive and made it clear he was not interested in discussing a reimbursement. He defended the condition of the property and explained that the termites infested the attic area and were discovered in the kitchen shortly before our visit. He had them sprayed/killed, but was not able to have it all cleaned up prior to our visit.
I will say Norman was always quick to respond, and was polite in most of our interactions aside from our last. He even let me use his golf clubs to golf earlier in the week! Nevertheless, I do not feel the condition of the property in its current state is something anyone would deem acceptable when spending this much money for vacation

Party of 6 45+ adults. Place is exactly as stated in description. Perfect location. Beautiful view. Very clean. Grounds and pool were immaculate. Communication couldn't have been better. Thought we had an issue with the golf cart.....found it to be the operator.....owner had maintenance on site to check for problem within 15 minutes. 5 star plus if it were an option.

This place is located in los Sueños resort which is beautiful! It came with a golf cart which was much needed to get around the resort so that was very helpful. The owner reached out with recommendations for places to eat and helped me with some questions while I was staying there as well. He was very accessible and helpful! Would stay here again!

Amazing view in Los Suenos
Condo was very nice and met all of our needs. Los Suenos is a property with lush landscaping, plenty of beautiful pools and beach club, and an abundance of eating choices. Close to area stores, restaurants and beach with use of golf cart. Beach club, restaurants and marina would be a long walk but good with the golf cart. View from the condo is probably one of the best in all of Los Suenos. Norman, the owner, is very nice and always available for any needs or questions that arise. Overall, an amazing experience!!

Perfect location and property!
This property was perfect for our family of five. The condo had the most amazing view from the balcony and the space was perfect for us to enjoy our stay. We were close to Jaco, which had a great beach for playing in the waves but seemed rather crowded and a bit seedy. It was a great launching point for day trips throughout the area and perfect for relaxing in the mornings and evenings. The condo was clean and spacious. The full kitchen and laundry machines were essential for our family. Norman was a wonderful host that gave us great tips for local places to visit and was very quick to respond to any of our questions about our trip. I would highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a stay in this area.
