Quiet Location on a cul-de-sac. Kids from three to 14 rode bikes. Big interior of house allowed plenty of elbow room and joint activities indoors: games, meals, watching grand kids growing up. Sharc passes were well utilized. Bicycles greatly appreciated and in good shape. Canoe not used, but every other method of floating the river was employed repeatedly since the river was only a hundred yards away. Located near services at the North end of Sun River (gas, groceries, etc.) Reading material available to learn all about the resources and attractions of this great area. Two car garage allowed keeping all our toys secure. Walking the dog easy and convenient and yes we picked up after ourselves.

We had a great time and the house was great for our extended family. The amenities were as described and we enjoyed the sharc pool facilities. Kitchen is well stocked and hot tub was a bonus. Bike path is nearby as is the river. Super beautiful spot and great location.

Big house easily accommodated the 9 of us. The floor plan took awhile to get used to, and we could have done without the pool table next to the dining table. Hot tub was enjoyed. The house seemed dark, hard to get enough light. Overall, a beautiful home.

Seven women shared this house. With the exception of the king size and queen beds, the remaining beds were difficult to sleep on. All of the rollaways were broken down. The bottom bunk beds were worn and collapsed to slanting. It made for very difficult sleeping. The kitchen is well equipped, the hot tub was very nice and the layout was okay. The kitchen is upstairs. There was room to park two cars in the garage. NoKeurig pot for coffee.

Great home for our family of 8 adults and 2 teenagers. Living spaces good, bedrooms and bathrooms great, and kitchen nicely laid out and well equipped. Our only complaint was the tv on the lower level. We were there during World Cup Soccer and would have appreciated a larger tv and better sound system. Otherwise a good property.

We had ample opportunities for fun in Sunriver and Bend, and the rental includes many passes to the Sunriver village recreation facilities! We have a large group with 3 families which include 2 adults and 2 kids each, plus a couple dogs, and were looking for a place to reunite our families for an end of summer mini-vacation. Blue Grouse was great! They had just about everything we needed to help us enjoy our stay. We also enjoyed the nearby walking paths each evening and the SHARC passes, plus there was plenty of room for everyone.
I'd say the only negative was that we were granted (and paid for) a late check out but they came into the house early while we were out. Realized we might have been watched the whole time since we didn't do the final code to send them the message we checked out. Made all of us pretty uncomfortable since it wasn't check out time yet and they entered the house anyway without any prior notification. Just a note to the owners to please wait until the check out time before entering the house.

This place is BIG
Nice big house in a perfect location for a walk or bike ride along the river. It's actually quite a bit bigger than the photos suggest, and there is a deck on both levels which was not clear to us. Overall a great place.

We loved the quiet setting with all of the paved trails to walk on and the river was very close to the house. We used the shark passes to take the kids swimming. The best part though was the room layout. All of their bedrooms had their own bathroom and they were separated from each other keeping the noise down for everyone. Each family had their own space then. There was also a living room upstairs and downstairs. We played games at the large dining table and everyone could help cook in the large kitchen. We all had a great time. Would definitely rent again.

VERY Dog Friendly
This is a home for dog lovers! Which is why I picked it. However, I was very disappointed with the smell, high-pile carpets throughout the house, dog poo left in the backyard and pee stains on the living room and dinner room carpet.
As soon as you walk in you are bombarded by the smell of urine. The upstairs isn’t as bad, but there are urine stains will gross you out. The carpet, appears to be the original carpet and should be removed asap! We booked this house for 4 nights, but left on the 3rd day due to the odor.

Great house with a few issues- the heater broke and we were cold for the first day, as it was in the teens overnight. Got it fixed by second night- left messages on maintenance line w/o reply. Once I called into office when it opened in the am, got quick service, which was nice as it took all day to fix. Space heaters necessary for downstairs- which stays cold when the upstairs is warm. Overall, aside from these hitches, we loved the house. Would be tough in the winter w/o space heaters though, if you have kids or cold sensitive guests downstairs.

The maximum # of guests was listed as 14, but even with 2 rollaways it is 12.The upstairs bathroom next to kitchen has a toilet that the lid won't stay up as the counter tile protrudes out enough to prevent this. The biggest problem we encountered is when the hot tub had a major leak and it was determined that the deck that supports it was not structurally safe and we had to move to another house.
