Ten of us booked a week long birthday getaway and the goal was to relax and enjoy. This house far exceeded our expectations. It was in imaculate shape, well maintained and current. But what put this far above others is the staff. They are AMAZING! Polite, friendly, helpful, respectful and adaptable to your needs. They are there when you want them and not when you don't. I spent 27 years in the hospitality industry as an exec of a large global company. I share this only so readers know I do not give such high praise lightly, When earned, and this is well earned, they should be shared and shouted. Thank you for an excludible week.

10 of us came down to Montego Bay to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday…we stayed for 6 days at Elsewhere By The Sea…A-MA-ZING!!! The pictures on VRBO don’t due this Villa or the experience justice…this is the BEST vacation that my wife and I have ever been on, and staying at Elsewhere By The Sea made it the perfect vacation.
The Villa and the grounds are beyond beautiful. The private pool, private beach and open patio/bar area in the back just made everything so convenient and all the more satisfying.
The staff…Kemoy (Butler) was the man with the plan and solution for ANYTHING we asked…Rafic (Asst Butler) was everywhere at once making sure everything was pristine as every area looked brand new and unused each time we accessed them, Ms Delores (Housekeeper) took care of our rooms and was on top of things as soon as we stepped out of our rooms every morning…and Kasandra (Chef)…Kasandra is the best Jamaican chef on the planet…if we could take Kasandra back home with us she would be in the seat next to us on the plane…EVERY MEAL WAS A MASTERPIECE…she presented a full arsenal of Jamaican cuisines like we’ve never experienced before.
Thank you to Connie and Ms Winsome for assisting with and managing all of the administrative pieces that went into booking this trip and all the arrivals/departures to/from the villa.
Elsewhere By The Sea is a Five Star property that I would rate as a 10 out of 10 everyday of the week.

Our stay in Jamaica was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the rooms. The food was exceptional. The location itself was perfect, providing us with breathtaking views and a serene environment. Half of our party visited 6 years ago, and we cannot wait to reserve our next stay hopefully sooner than later!

We had high expectations going and they were exceeded! the property itself is beautiful and very well maintained. Even better is the veteran staff! Cassandra in the kitchen could teach any restaurant chef where you've had a meal. We gave her an idea of what we wanted and ate every delicious meal at the house...plus appetizers before dinner. Kemoy made drinks all day and helped with serving meals. Tell him you'd like to have a bartenders surprise and you'll enjoy whatever he comes up with for sure. He also doubles as your boat captain and made for some memorable trips on the water. Dolores does a beautiful job keeping the house and bedrooms clean as well as washing your clothes daily...very delightful. Rafick kept the grounds immaculate and filled in wherever needed with a smile. Just can't say enough about the staff...they make the trip. If you need transportation they make all arrangements. We utilized for airport transfers, a golf outing and a fun night on the town...10/10

Elsewhere is beautiful! The photos cannot capture the true beauty, energy and ambience of the property. As our van arrived we were greeted by delicious cocktails curated by Kemoy and the welcoming smiles of Kassandra, Delores and Rafic.
Throughout our weeks stay we desired for nothing. Each and every meal prepared by Kassandra was a culinary treat for the senses. We could taste the love and soul in each mouthful.
Kemoy was so attentive always with a cold drink and a beautiful smile. Our sunset boat trip is especially memorable because as we ended or excursion and approached the dock all that could be seen is a beautiful candle light dinner table on the beach and a steel band! What a birthday! Our night ended with a beach bonfire and lots of great memories. Kemoy out did himself with perfect planning and execution.
Rafic taught us how to use the paddle board and beach equipment, pulled it out every morning and kept the grounds immaculate and we especially enjoyed him at dinner with his description of each item. Thank you Rafic! Delores spoiled us daily and her coffee can’t be duplicated! Turn down service every night and fresh clean clothes daily, not to mention her warm spirit. Enough cannot be said about the entire team!
The villa is beautiful and Kassandra, Kemoy, Rafic, and Delores, make it feel like your beach front home away from home filled with good vibes and lots of love.

This property was perfect for our family vacation to celebrate Mother's Day, It has big comfortable furniture where we all played games and had coffee on every day to greet the morning or watch the AWESOME sunsets.
I can not say enough about the staff that enhance your stay. The chef Kassandra met all of our requests and exceeded our expectations with her meals and snacks.
Delores made sure our rooms, and cloths, were clean everyday and was so welcoming and engaged our family daily. Kamoy makes the best island drinks and Rafic ensured every space outside was pristine.
A few items were would have liked to have known were: There will be a staff member that will stay with you in the house every night. They do have their own quarters. Also each trip they make to the grocery store there is a charge of $40. We were not told in advance of this fee. Going out also has its costs- the taxi service is clean and air conditioned but pricey. A 15-20% tips needs to be factored into the stay.
Other then those few items our stay was AMAZING. I can not think of anything I would have added to this stunning home. Thank you to the staff for making this a trip to remember.

Incredible week in paradise. Amazing food from Kassandra the chef, and friendly and attentive staff. The home is well maintained, and there are plenty of activities for kids with the beach, pool, and access to the boat. I would recommend this home to anyone!

This is my third visit to Elsewhere and there is no place that I would rather stay! The staff is so welcoming and makes sure that you are totally pampered. The food is delicious, and Kassandra always has a few suprises to tempt your sweet tooth. Delores attends to the rooms and laundry and anything else you need. Kemoy is always ready to whip up a speciality cocktail or take you out on the boat. Love the sun - sit on the dock or by the pool. Love the shade - the covered coaches keep you close to the action, but safe from the sun. Love to be active - play tennis, stand up paddle board or kayak. Love to do nothing - you can do that too, and just enjoy the beautiful views. I will be back to enjoy Elsewhere again!

This property and staff are amazing! This is the first time that we have stayed at a staffed home, and this experience will never be beat. The entire staff at this property is wonderful. They anticipate needs, make you feel at home, suggest activities, keep your home clean, serve you drinks, cook up the best food that you can imagine, help your children snorkel, and become your friends! I wish that we could have them over to the United States and serve them! From the moment that I booked this property, Connie was so helpful. We needed to rent extra highchairs and carseats, and she took care of everything The Chef prepared extra items for the kiddos that she knew that they would enjoy. Their favorite part of the trip was knocking on the door and being served their all-time favorite chocolate cake and ice cream. The property manager stopped by at the beginning and the end of the trip, and told me repeatedly to reach out with any questions that I had. This is a vacation that we will never forget, and hope to do again soon!

Our family of 10 spent Spring Break week together. We had a great week. Service was excellent! Boat rides to see sunset were amazing! Food was outstanding! Most of us never left the property except by boat or kayak or paddle board!

Our only disappointment in our review of Elsewhere is our inability to give more than 5 stars. We were 3 families (6 adults, 6 teens) of first time visitors to Jamaica. We were looking for a relaxing place in a beautiful setting with some concern about safety and a desire not to stay in an all-inclusive. There is simply no better home that we could imagine. The home is better than advertised and had everything we could have needed. It was fully appointed, comfortable and well maintained. Communication with Connie was prompt, helpful and started immediately from booking, easing each concern we had (including safety which was a nonissue). We had never stayed in a home with a staff but this group made us feel at home without awkwardness and totally made the experience. As a result, we had a place better serviced than any hotel and a private restaurant with full menu of Jamaican specialties. We were advised on outings and spent a day at Chukka (ATV, horses, zip lines) and deep sea fishing (Just Hook It Charters). Kasandra cooked us fresh tuna and Mahi we caught. Transportation was fully arranged for the week. Extra touches made the week fun for the kids (and adults) including the pool, canoes/paddle boards, and the boat. Boat trips with Kemoy from the house dock for snorkeling, sunset or trip to Doctors Cave were an unexpected but amazing enhancement. After staying at rentals all over the world, Elsewhere tops our list and we plan to come back on our next trip to Jamaica.

PERFECTION!!! Two grandparents, two parents, four sweet grandchildren from eight months to three years old and one au pair…all agreed (and that’s a miracle in itself)… that this was the best vacation we’ve ever taken together! Five stars all the way!
The house is beautiful, but more importantly, so welcoming and comfortable and immensely functional. Space to gather together or alone, inside, outside, every little nook and cranny of the house, and the yard! And the view! No words! And we especially loved our boat rides with Kemoy! he took us to so many special places and went fast and slow according to the kids requests.
Which brings me to the most exceptional and rare facet of Elsewhere by the Sea, and that is the amazing team who host you, as if you were their most important guests, individually, and as a foursome, they are beyond competent and extraordinarily, compassionate, doing all they can to make everyone happy, and deliciously, sated, and quenched!

RAFIC our gentle, quiet caretaker, who took care of everything almost magically, and was always there for us.
Dr. DELORES the compassionate philosopher, who kept us clean, and in order and imparted cherished words of wisdom and gentle hugs. And was always ready with a delicate touch and first aid kit.
KASANDRA, or as I called her “Chef Kass” cuisine queen extraordinaire who’s inherited and trained talent in the kitchen will be a sweet memory that we bring home along with many extra pounds.
KEMOY the best bar, artist, talented table decor master, super Irie Captain on land and sea.

Beyond expectations!
Our group of 8 friends were constantly commenting how wonderful this Luxury home was to share. Its location perfect and beautiful. Pictures seen online were great, the real thing even better!
The professionalism and constant attention to details by the Elsewhere staff of 4 amazing people put this place over the top!

I was looking for a vacation spot where I could celebrate my husband 70th birthday with a few other couples. This was the Spot! It was just like the pictures and more. We enjoyed everything about it! The staff were so accommodating. We loved the food. Each meal was better than the last one. Ms Kassandra prepared all his favorites, lobster and steak!!! Ms Delores was amazing. We took the boat out for an evening ride into the sunset, it was so beautiful. We came from different parts of the USA, everyone was so happy with the stay. One wanted to pack up the chef and bring her back home LOL. I highly recommend Elsewhere!

Ahh-mazing!!! 5 couples comfortably lived in the villa for 8 days! The staff is EVERYTHING!!! They are so attentive, yet you forget they are there! Miss Dolores watches out for everyone and makes sure you are taken care off on and off site of the villa, she’s like a grandmother and auntie all in one! Miss Kassandra’s cooking skill are unmatched! I’m vegan and she made all my dishes vegan friendly even the desserts and everything was absolutely delicious and that’s an understatement! Kemoy is there to take care of everything else from bartending, to captain of the boat, serving dinner, answering questions and directing us wherever we wanted to go. Rafic is the master behind the breathtaking grounds in addition to serving us with love and care! This was truly the best experience and we will be back with friends, family, ourselves, whatever our plans this is where dreams become reality! Thank you again to everyone you all made us feel like royalty! Pictures don’t do justice and reviews are on point! I love this place, thank you having us!

It’s been two weeks since our family visited and we are still talking about our week there! The house was amazing, clean, and up to date. We definitely took advantage of the pool, paddle boards, kayaks, beach, and boat. Besides the house being fabulous, what really made us feel at home were the people, Kassandra, Kemoy, Rafik, and Delores. To say we were treated like guests is an understatement. They treated us like family, all very welcoming and going above and beyond. Kassandra made the most amazing meals! From chicken fingers and waffles for the kids to caramelized salmon, jerk chicken, lobster salad and much more. She truly is a fabulous chef! Rafik helped Kassandra with meals and made sure we had everything for the beach and snorkeling. He was a ray of sunshine each morning. They both memorized what our kids preferred for meals and what the adults liked as well. Kemoy was an amazing boat captain, making sure our kids had a good place to fish and we all had fun snorkeling. Kemoy also made sure we had all we needed throughout the day. A true gem. Delores, just like the others, also very warm and lovely! She did our laundry each day, checked in with us throughout the day and made sure we were happy. Again, everyone was amazing and made the trip extra special. There’s so much more I could say! We did reserve transportation and glad we did. Nice to have a car at our disposal. Thank you Connie and Winsome! We look forward to returning!

Elsewhere met our needs and exceeded our expectations. We planned an intimate gathering with only family for our 25th wedding anniversary. Elsewhere provided the perfect backdrop and location. The staff was phenomenal in providing top notch service. Don't worry about packing a lot of clothes because Deloris does laundry everyday. Being waited on and foot by Kemoy and Rafic really sealed the deal and made me remember that I was truly on vacation. Kassandra's culinary skills are exemplary and unmatched. We relied on her to plan our meals - we were not disappointed. In fact, there was a few times when we had leftovers. Elsewhere provided us with a most magnificent time which I will never ever forget. I am not sure that a resort could provide this level of private, customized or sophisticated service.

It is hard to review this property because it is hard to know where to begin. The first thing I will mention is the pictures do not truly reflect the beauty of this home. It is exceptionally beautiful and extremely cozy.
The staff was exceptionally kind and very attentive. The food was out of this world delicious. Ms. Cassandra's pepper pot soup is to die for! My sister who do not like the taste of lobster ate it all and cleaned her plate!! Everytime we go out to eat now everyone states ... that was not Ms. Cassandra with a sad face. 😁
But for me personally, Kemoy the butler is an angel. He was extremely kind and attentive to our differently abled son. He taught him how to snorkel and gave him every opportunity to enjoy the activities we all loved. He is truly a wonderful human being.

This property is absolutely amazing. You are in a court at the end of a private gated community .So many cool areas to relax from patio , bar, pool, beach , dock etc… The staff was incredibly nice and attentive and food off the charts.

We have stayed at many short term rental properties but this one beats them all. If I could rate this more than 5 stars I would. The house is amazing and perfectly suited for our family of 9. This was my parents first time out of the country and “oh my” were they spoiled. The outdoor spaces are majestic, the sunset views are incredible, and the house comes with paddle boards and kayaks which we used everyday. Another fun experience was taking the boat out with Khemoy for a sunset ride and a 3 hour snorkeling excursion. The icing on the cake is really the staff. They are absolutely incredible. Kassandra in our opinion might be the best chef on the island. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner left us rubbing our bellies in pure bliss. She was also able to accommodate the kids and make them kid food they would eat. Another big shoutout to Dolores who made our beds and did our laundry everyday (what an amazing treat) and Rafic who tended the grounds and set our table most nights. He also makes a mean painkiller. And lastly Khemoy who is a jack of all trades and wears many hats including captain, event planner, table setter and part time cook. This trip reminded us how bless and grateful we are to have these types of experiences with family. If you can find an availability on the calendar book immediately. Cheers!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Elsewhere. 2 families - 4 adults and 4 kids. Plenty of room for everyone to gather or spend alone time. Everyone loved the house and the activities that were available out our back door. Every morning we saw huge starfish, colorful fish and even saw a stingray swimming back and forth by the dock! The house has everything you need and is well appointed with tropical and plush decor and is comfortable and welcoming. Kemoy took us on a sunset cruise which was the perfect way to end a perfect vacation. And the sheets on the bed are like none I have ever slept on! Kasandra's meals were 5 star (the pepper pot soup is delicious!) and she is very thoughtful about preparing what you like and want. Kemoy was a first rate bartender/captain of the boat and attended to any need we had. Rafic was always there when we needed anything. And Ms. Delores was welcoming, warm and felt like the grandmother you loved visiting. Her hugs are amazing! The staff truly made this vacation special. Connie was helpful to organize what we wanted and even managed to get us a driver for the week - which was key! We were able to visit many places and did not have to worry about driving. We will definitely be back and look forward to seeing our friends Kasandra, Kemoy, Rafic and Ms. Delores very soon!

We are a family of 6, plus our grandson.
I have to say, all of the reviews are spot on.
The house is more than comfortable, with plenty of room to be together or take those few minutes of personal time to reflect. A place to really relax.
The staff makes this experience five star. I really can not say enough about how Kasandra, Kamoy, Dolores, and Rafi made us feel right at home. Every need from food, to drinks, to toys, was met. No ask was too much.
We celebrated our grandsons 3rd birthday, with a magical light installation and a magnificent cake made by Kasandra.
A week was too short. None of us wanted to leave.
I also want to give a shout out to Roy, our driver for the week. He was great.

The only aspect we were not prepared for was the loud music coming from the resort across the bay. Maybe it was just last week (spring break), but they did not abide to any noise restrictions, if any are in place.

Our family of 8 adults, 1 toddler and 3 babies had an amazing stay at Elsewhere Villa. The house was huge and very accommodating with bathrooms in every bedroom. We particularly enjoyed all the outdoor covered areas, the pool and the private beach. The staff at the Villa were incredible and so very accommodating. It was truly a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. We would definitely come back.

I never leave reviews but this property and staff so exceeded my high expectations I knew I had to let others know. I have stayed at places all over the globe and this was truly the best.

An easy experience renting this beautiful villa. Food, location, amenities, and staff were the best. We already booked for next year. Highly recommend!

You won't find a better place to book. I just enjoyed the Christmas/New year holidays with my family including 8 adults 2 toddlers and two infants. Cribs & Highchairs were arranged. Upon arrival an initial shop was already stocked including full bar. Subsequent meals were planned with the chef. We had a New Year's Eve dinner of local lobster and Beef Tenderloin which was on par with the best NYC restaurants.
We spent numerous hours with the kids in the pool and sandy beachfront. Don't miss the boat ride around bird island. My wife and daughters use the kayaks and surf boards to paddle to the nearby reef for snorkeling.
This is a very safe and convenient area. My kids went jogging several miles down the road passed Secrets Resort and MoBay Yacht club which is open to the public. Nearby dining on the Houseboat Grill is a must.

There is not enough space in this box for all the things I could say about ELSEWHERE! We literally felt at home from the moment we landed at the property. Kasandra and team felt like family. The house had such an amazing energy that cannot be explained. And Connie’s communication I cannot express how communicative she was… no stone was left unturned. Every request was met. The only negative is we had to leave!!!! :(. We will definitely be back in the future!!!! Thank you to Kasandra, Kemoy, Rafic, Delores Connie and Grace, I cannot sing your praises enough! Your stay here will not DISAPPOINT!!

4 high school friends enjoyed the trip of a lifetime! Elsewhere is a beautiful villa offering spectacular views.! The staff was amazing!! Kassandra’s cooking was superior. Every single meal was fantastic. Don’t even get me started on her desserts! Yum! Deloris took such meticulous care of us and our rooms. Rafic pampered us in every way. Our boat ride with Kemroy was a blast. We are so grateful & blessed to have had this opportunity! Thank you Elsewhere by the Sea for being above and beyond our expectations! We will most definitely be back!

What an absolutely spectacular experience. The property and grounds were incredible and even more beautiful then the pictures. Everything from the bed linens to outdoor cushions were so of top quality. The grounds were exceptional and maintained daily. I cannot say enough nice things and compliments about the property staff. They are truly what made this experience exceptional for us. Each individual member goes above and beyond without even being asked and with a smile on their face. I got married on the property and they truly helped me organize the most perfect day. The food was exceptional. Cancel all your dinner reservations because you will not find better cooking then Kasandras. If tou are looking for a sign to book this house … this is your sign. BOOOK IT and you will not regret it. Thank you for the laughs and wonderful memories. We will be back

Elsewhere by the Sea was amazing! Everyone was so great! Cassandra is the best cook and the food was amazing! We pretty much ate in everyday and the one day we went out we wished we had stayed in for dinner! For my Birthday they surprised me with a delicious cake. The property is as shown in the pictures and the views are amazing! We will definitely be back!!
