We arrived at the house with the understanding that there was a twin bunk AND two twin beds, which is what the description stated. (They have since changed the description). Beth was very willing to help get us an extra air mattress but it was very disappointing to pay the amount of money and then not have enough beds. Diane said she would bring extra bedding for us for the air mattress that evening, but we didn't receive it until the next day. The sheets were wet on two of the beds. We were told by one manager that it was just the type of sheets (They were definitely wet!). The biggest part was I was told that if I wanted sun during most of the day, that unit 1 was the unit to rent. The sun was out each day but the entire pool is shaded until around 3 and then it only gets about one third in the sun. The other unit is definitely the one to rent if looking for sun. This was a huge dissappointment. Two windows were cracked, the rug underneath the table outside was so old that it was curled up around the edges so we needed to put chairs on it so noone would trip. The strap to the kayak was broken so no seat. Beth did her best to be accommodating, but we would not rent here again.

What a great house and owner! The house was very spacious, clean, neat and organized. The outdoor space was perfect to hang out in and lounge by the pool. The balcony was great for your morning coffee or nightcap. Marathon is such a relaxing place to visit. Beth, the owner, told us all of her favorite spots to eat and visit. She was right on the money. We will definitely book another stay at Tu Casa.

Tu Casa was absolutely perfect for our family! The house was fully decorated which made it feel you were in your own home! Our family from the 2 yr old to the Grandparents enjoyed the property. Great location close to the beach, restaurants and grocery stores. Pool time was great! Took advantage of the bikes, kayaks and fishing off the pier! Beth was great in making sure we had everything we needed! Definetely would love to book again!

Super easy process to book and the property was exactly as described!

We checked in with our party of 10 ages from 14 to 80 and didn’t know what to expect. Would there be enough for everyone to do? Kids to grandparents The house just got back on the rental market what kind of shape would the house be in? There we several houses in the same area for more money was there something wrong with the house? All I can say is our expectations were exceeded in every way! Marathon and Tu Casa are in a word perfect! The house is gorgeous. For being a 7-year-old rental it looked like new. Everyone loved the pool and the beach nearby. The Tiki hut was brand new and it has a TV. Me and my dad loved to watch sports at night at the bar. Rented a boat. Now it’s a bit of a drive out to the ocean but its thru the mangroves and its fun! Lots to see and do. Sandbars, private islands, and snorkeling are near by. We have already booked our trip back for next year. If you are thinking about renting Tu Casa my recommendation is book now….before we take another week.

We had an awesome time at this beautiful home! Very clean and roomy. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and fished off the dock. Beds were super comfy! A lot of extras were supplied so that was very nice. My family had a blast, and we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Tu Casa. We used the heated pool everyday and loved being so close to the beach. The sidewalk was perfect to exercise/walk everyday. The bikes were great to catch the sunrise or head to the market. The location was perfect for us being in the middle of the keys. Easy ride for day trips to visit other spots! The house was so clean on our arrival and the perfect spot for our family.

We made breakfast mostly every morning at the house. It was perfect. The view and the Porch were wonderful. Fished off the deck a few days. The pool was heated and very comfortable. Lots of great places to eat around there. Especially lazy days, castaways, lobster and steak. Easy drive to most places. Remend helicopter trip and turtle hospital and dolphin research. Great home great neighborhood and location was unbelievable. Highly recommended.

We were overall pleased with our stay at Tu Casa. Close to Sombero beach and many attractions. The pool area was beautiful. Owner was great with getting us with what we needed and responding in a timely manner. Property manager was called twice with promises to call back and never did. Communication was poor.

Tu Casa is a beautiful home with everything you need for a wonderful vacation. The home, property and pool are very well maintained. Kitchen is equipped with everything you might need. The location is excellent, very close to shops and beach. Visiting during lobster season was an amazing experience. Thank you Beth for accommodating our group! Absolutely loved our stay at Tu Casa! The house & grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Loved all the extra amenities provided for fun recreation. Kitchen is well stocked to prepare meals. We would definitely stay here again!

We really liked the house and the sun was shining everyday. It was the start of chaos with the coronavirus and some of our family was not able to come. I was able to connect with Beth, the owner, and receive answers in a short time. The location is wonderful, near shopping and the beach.

We had a blast. My son caught fish all day, every day. We saw dolphins and a manatee off the dock. The pool was perfect. House is nicely laid out. I would recommend spending a week here very soon.

Rented through Christmas with 6 adults. House is as described/listed. We used the dock with our 25'Grady which was also a good location and plenty deep, minimal tidal drop, around 2 to 3 ft. Only one issue, toiletries were limited to 1 and a half roll of TP per bathroom and 5 kitchen trash bags. We communicated with property mgr. Who informed us that we were provided with enough products for the duration of our stay, crazy. We did not feel as if we needed to contact Beth over this so no worries though, Publix is literally right down the road so that was rectified. All in all a fabulous Christmas in the keys and a great New year! We would stay again if our travels bring us back to Marathon.

Our second visit to Tu Casa! The house never disappoints and we are already counting the days until we can come back again. Exceptionally well cared for, and every amenity you need is there!

The Kenny's home is very clean and neatly decorated; definitely felt like we were at home here. Check in and check out were both easy. Communication with the owner and the property manager was easy. Docking our boat at this house was very convenient and not far from the areas where our family fished and went snorkeling. Bedrooms were large and 2 had en suite baths. We had all the kitchen appliances available that we could want. Publix grocery store was 3 minutes away. Our visit was in the heat of August, but we still used the outdoor grill and picnic table and swam in the pool several times. Travel time to Key West was about 1 hour + 15 minutes. Our family recommends this property!

This was our 3rd stay at Tu Casa and every year we have an awesome time. The property is perfect for our family! The pool and boat dock are essentials for us while on vacation and this property has both. It’s in close proximity to shopping, grocery stores, restaurants and Sombrero Beach. For several years my family (4 adults and 2 kids) have been going to Marathon staying in a different property in the same plan as Tu Casa. We loved the location so close to the beach, grocery story (only a few in the keys), and things to do for the kids. The week of July 4 the fireworks go off right at the end of the street. When we tried to book the house we usually stay it was booked for the week of July 4th so we started to look at other properties in the same plan. That is when we came across Tu Casa. In the pictures we saw online the property looked similar to the one we normally rent. While Tu Casa did receive better star rating than the house we normally rent cost less. This concerned me a lot. Were we getting the same house for more money? I sent an inquire to the owner and she was nice enough to call me back. The owner assured me the house was in great shape and they “spared no expense” when they bought the house and it would be worth the extra expense. She was correct. While the house looked the same in the pictures it was different in person. You could tell the owners spent more on several. Over all the house was maintained better. It looked less run down even though they had to be built around the same time I assumed. The furniture especially the beds were so nice. I didn’t want to get out of the bed in the morning it was so comfortable. The pool even seemed a bit bigger. Not to mention the hardwood floors throughout the entire house. The house had everything we could want in it. We brought down beach “stuff” like chairs and umbrellas but were pleasantly surprised to find out the house already came with everything we need for the beach and pool. Next year we can save time by packing less and not having to bring the “egg” attached to the top of the car. Tu Casa is truly home away from home and worth the few extra dollars a night. We will be back!

We really can’t say enough great things about this vacation rental house. The house is well stocked and immaculately maintained. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. There’s an ample supply of beach towels. The pool has all the accessories kids could want. There’s even supplies to take with you to the beach. You can tell that the owners really want their guests to enjoy their Florida Keys experience. Did I mention the beds......super comfortable.! So if you are looking for a place to just kick back and relax with your family, I definitely recommend staying here:-) We stayed as a group of 4 adults and 2 teenagers. But the house could easily accommodate more.
