A great house with all the amenities to satisfy everyone from 2 to 76! Even great for a couple of teenagers...enough refrigerator space. The pool was a great size and the view from so many rooms is wonderful.

Our family of 7 adults and 3 grandchildren loved every minute at this home. It's beautiful and functional with a great kitchen and pool area. The grands loved the wading area of the pool. The proximity to the beach is the best we have found on HHI. The outdoor bathroom/shower was a huge help! Since we love to cook our own food and enjoy the beautiful views from the home, the kitchen was a dream. Even having stools in the bedrooms for the little ones was such a treat. A perfect home and a great company that keeps it spotless!

This is a great family house. The setup worked well with small children. The property exceeded the discriptions. We had minor issues getting the pool heated and the staff was right on it and took care of the issue immediately. It was a cold Spring break week and we wanted the pool a bit warmer and they took care of it immediately. i can't say enough about the Costal Home and Villa staff. They were helpful and always very pleasant. We have rented homes many times and this i one of the best equipted kitchens we have had. I loved the labels on the drawers and cabnets which made it easy to find items as well as getting them back where they belong. Outdoor and grill area is perfect. We grilled every night and it was a nice spot for everyone to gather. I would highly recommend this property and Costal Hove and Villa.

Over the top amazing. First the house. Very accommodating for that many people to be in one facility. Two of everything, washer & dryer, dishwasher, stoves, refrigerator, and an ice maker, and plenty of outdoor living spaces. The bedrooms were the best, each with it's own bathroom, sound proof, and spacious. Absolutely gorgeous home, and a beautiful view. Plenty of room to be and do your own thing as well as interact with family. We catered a Saturday night meal to give everyone a break and a treat and the office was so helpful with everything we called to inquire about. It was amazing - one for the best memory books for us all to be together.

We returned for our second year with our children and their five young children. The house was even better with a gorgeous new pool and spa. We survived Hurricane Idalia and the house was totally intact. We love the spacious bedroom and en-suite accommodations for all. The kitchen has everything and has two large refrigerators and even one in the garage. We like to cook and our extended families on the same street and we had two dishwashers to handle the pasta and pizza parties. Bedding is comfortable and beach towels are abundant. I wish they would provide a couple beach chairs. We rent ones each day for the adults with umbrellas but the young kids could use a seat sometimes. I plan to book again next summer. There’s nothing like seeing the ocean every day!

The home has absolutely gorgeous views! It is a little dated inside in some areas. We arrived for check in and they were still clean the home. We were able to get in about 30 minutes after the posted check in time. We were told to just go in and introduce ourselves to the cleaning crew. We did not think that was appropriate so we waited to allow them to finish.
The proximity to the beach and private boardwalk were amazing. The outdoor area was recently renovated which was very nice. We spent most of our time in the pool and also relaxing on the decks, taking in the gorgeous views. The screened-in areas were wonderful for outdoor dining.
We would definitely stay again just because of the views and beach access.

We have stayed at this home many times before. This house always is immaculate. But this year, we got an extra treat. The owner completely redid the pool, jacuzzi, outdoor kitchen, and board walk to the beach. The Property Manager was extremely helpful and was waiting for us upon check-in to walk us through the instructions on how to turn on the heat and jets for the jacuzzi and how to use the new outdoor kitchen grill. Much appreciated! The entire family had a great vacation.

One of the showers doesn't work. Water is an issue early in the morning. There is little water pressure. Takes a long while to build up. You're fine if no one needs to be anywhere and shower in the morning. Not sure what causes it. Any other time of day the water is fine BUT that one shower never worked.

Some bathrooms need updated with walk-in showers.
Kitchen well-stocked.
The hot tub would turn on and heat up but make a loud clunking noise so not very pleasant to use. I did call to report and while very friendly the rental company said they were aware of the issue, that it was okay to use, and that the pool area was due to be updated. No offer of compensation for the inconvenience.
A bit dusty (lamps, plants).
Overall, it’s a very nice property but for the cost I would only stay here again if the pool & hot tub is updated.

This was a very expensive house and the quality of the cleaning and maintenance was not acceptable. Bathrooms, toilets did not work properly (handles, water kept running, flapper broken) and just overall dirty. We called 3 days in a row to get the master toilet repaired and it was "taken care of"...the water ran non-stop the rest of the stay. Multiple shower drains were backed up. The bedding was disgusting. I spent the first 2 days washing bedding as they were covered with filth from prior rental families. The walls, had to be washed, covered with food and drink from prior rental families. The garage had a horrible smell. The pool cleaner came only at the end of the week so it was dirty our entire stay. The jacuzzi was not working and kept draining on its own into the pool. The grill was disgusting; we were unable to use. The dishes were dirty in the kitchen, we re-washed them all. Overall, disappointed in the quality of the home and the fact that on vacation I had to clean your property.

This property was well taken care of, clean and everything was in working order. Kitchen had all the supplies needed to cook large meals including a low-country boil. The pics do not show this but there is a K-Cup machine in place of a coffee pot. Having the ice machines at a rental like this just made life easier with packing coolers for the beach. The multiple living spaces helped us spread out. Highly recommend if you need a large rental property. We had a couple small requests for the management company and they were extremely fast and professional to respond.

50th Birthday Getaway with Girlfriends
The house was very spacious and well maintained. The furnishings were rather dated, but the overall set up of the house and it's location was spectacular. Was a little disappointed that bathroom showers didn't all have hot water at times and worked inconsistently (we shared each others showers) and learned that you had to pay extra to warm up the outdoor hot tub. When we did reach out for assistance, the return service was incredibly prompt. They gave the hot tub charge to us complimentary, though it was after 2 days of fiddling around with how to turn it on. Also, we had to buy blow dryers for the bathrooms and purchased supplies like garbage bags and extra cleaning supplies (windex, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc.), to keep the house tidy - as there wasn't any already in the house. We've left the blow dryers there for future renters. Only other challenge in the area was lack of Uber drivers in Hilton Head. We ended up staying back at the house more than explore Hilton Head area bars and restaurants because of this. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay so much last year, we returned this year. It was just as nice as we all remembered. The house is truly exceptional. Very well appointed, clean and beautiful. Fantastic!
22 Sandhill Crane was absolutely perfect! Beautiful home, extremely well appointed, very clean and on a beautiful beach. The rental company was also terrific to deal with. We would definitely come back again!
