Il Blue Sea Bungalow (vicino al porto di Roche) è il luogo ideale per fare ricordi di San Juan! Questa casa accogliente è stata costruita nel 2015 ed è confortevolmente arredata con un motivo nautico / spiaggia in tutto.
La cucina e la sala da pranzo offrono spazio sufficiente per riunirsi comodamente attorno al tavolo o preparare i pasti insieme. La cucina è completamente attrezzata con elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile e un sacco di piatti, pentole e spezie.
La Master Suite al piano di sotto ha un letto matrimoniale ed è collegata ad un bagno continentale. La seconda camera da letto è al piano superiore con una vista di Westcott Bay e un letto full-size con un nuovissimo materasso Memory Foam. Il bagno 3/4 è al piano di sopra pure.
Il comodo divano futon del soggiorno si trasforma in un letto. Goditi un film serale sulla nuova TV da 40 "nel soggiorno con accesso a Netflix.

The house was clean and cutely decorated, but not quite as advertised. Thankfully they have updated the listing since we complained because it previously boasted water views and beach access. You can see a sliver of the water from the upstairs bedroom. The beach “access” was overgrown so we called the property manager. To their credit, they had someone come out and cut back the waist-high growth and blackberry stickers. However, the embankment with its ancient frayed rope was not safe so we couldn’t enjoy the beach.
The house itself is nicely built on a large yard, but there isn’t a single comfortable place to sit. The lovely green lawn shown in pictures was dead, with landscaping nonexistent and chairs not made to sit more than a few minutes. The beds were uncomfortable and old, and there’s no couch. The futon is not suitable for more than one adult and even then it’s not comfortable. We still had a great vacation because San Juan Island is the best, but we wouldn’t stay here again. The owners are enjoying a good price point because of the location but they need to upgrade the furniture and do a bit of yard work to make it nicer.

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was great with a beautiful yard and neighborhood. We walked local trails and down to the oyster restaurant, enjoyed the yard games and fire pit, and had everything we needed to cook meals at the house. We will definitely stay here again!

This was our first time to the San Juan Island. The location of this cottage was perfect for our family of 4. You are close enough to Roche Harbor resort to pop over for a meal, we had a dinner and breakfast which was great. You're also down the street in walking distance to the Wescott Oyster farm and restaurant where we had another great meal in beautiful scenery on the bay. You are not far from Friday Harbor as well. Everything in the cottage was as expected and worked well for my 2 kids, husband and I. My only complaint would be about the bed size in the upstairs bedroom, believe it was a full, would've been better to have a queen. Overall fantastic stay, great memories and would highly recommend this property.

One of the best vacation rentals I’ve stayed at. Deer and foxes in the yard every night. Best stocked rental I’ve ever been in. Great location,5 min drive to Roche. Could walk down to Wescott Bay. Quiet neighborhood. Had three young kids, we all loved it. Only thing is that the futon doesn’t lay flat, it’s like a recliner type futon, which wasn’t ideal. Wish they’d switch that out.

Our group of four was joining another couple on a boat in Roche Harbor, this was an easy commute to Roche and was a perfect place to stay. Loved seeing all the wildlife! So many birds, deer, and even a fox!

The blue sea bungalow was just the right size for grandparents to vacation with their daughter, son-in-law, and young grandson. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed. WiFi worked fine. Location was good. We enjoyed having the beach toys but some of the other outdoor games needed replacement parts. We even saw an eagle, deer, and a fox fromThe house!

Advertisement looks like you could walk to anything…wrong, need a car. Beach house was cute and well supplied. Wished Lawn had been mowed and ground floor bathroom sink was a slow drain.

We traveled to Roche Harbor for a wedding, and this was the perfect house to stay in. It was close to the resort but far enough away to feel private and quiet. The house was clean with plenty of space for our group. We enjoyed spending time out in the backyard in the evening, and we saw a family of deer come by each morning. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Cannot be outside of the home, or in the yard.
We had the local police show up at 8:15 pm, saying they had received a noise complaint, the officer said he could not hear us from the driveway! he was very sorry, but just be warned you cannot go outside of the house.

Cute house. Lawn hadn’t been mowed in some time. Had to work for the water view. You take your life in your hands for the “beach” access. Definitely wouldn’t recommend for anyone with ANY limited mobility or risk of injury. Only had K-cup machine for coffee. Cups were provided but if you like a strong cup of Java, bring you own. Would have sworn listing said 2 queens. Only 1 and a full. Location was close to Roche Harbor and the Oyster Company. Lots of wildlife roaming through the yard. Beautiful. Enjoyed the stay but wouldn’t rent again.

Pleasant cabin in a natural setting

Ants in the kitchen!!! Something we would have greatly appreciated knowing before we booked at almost $1000 for 2 nights after fees and taxes. When we got there the first evening and started making dinner they came out in a vengeance! I killed all that I saw, but my kids were super grossed out and a couple of them wouldn't eat their dinner. We kept all our food out in the car because we were freaked out about it. I felt like bugs were crawling on me all night while I slept too! I Googled ant traps and when I saw pictures of what they looked like, I realized there were already 3 traps sitting on the kitchen counter and in the kitchen window sill. So it was obviously a problem they already knew about. When we called the property manager, his was apologetic and came out the next day at noon and placed more ant traps in the kitchen. He sent a text with fingers crossed and said he hoped that would take care of it. After coming back to the house that evening we started making dinner and the ants came back!! I killed almost another 30-40 that evening! When we told the property manager about it, he said I guess we will have to call an exterminator. We really would have appreciated that call to have the ant problem taken care of before we spent that much money or at least knowing before hand that they were having the issue so that we could have made the desicion of whether or not we still wanted to stay there when they were having bug issues!!!

Stayed during the winter freeze that followed Christmas 2021. Despite temperatures in the teens, the house stayed warm. Used the woodfire stove, but mostly just for aesthetics--electric heat was more than adequate. Property manager very accommodating. Reviews we read before were very accurate--this is a very good vacation rental.

Blue Sea Bungalow is a very well appointed abode. Internet was adequate for any technical needs. Everything we did was reasonably close by, it is an island after all, but even the drives were a pleasant distraction. We used the discount coupons provided by San Juan Property management, would definitely recommend.

This was the 2nd year in a row we stayed at this cute cottage for our daughter's wedding weekend at the Oyster farm down the road (2020 canceled, 2021 success!). Its a sweet little place and we appreciate the fans in the upstairs bedroom. Lots of wildlife visit the yard. There were a few things that came back to us from our previous stay - the kitchen floor seems permanently sticky, the lighting in the living room isn't great (one of the outlets where the internet router is plugged in doesn't work so you cannot plug in the lamp located there). This year someone had clearly been smoking (a lot) in the downstairs bathroom and therefore that room, the hallway and laundry area right off the dining area smelled strongly like cigarettes. I bought Lysol to spray around the bathroom but it could not overcome the smell which made us all gag. Disappointing as this bathroom is the only one with counter space and we had to get ready for a wedding there.
We tried to use the toaster but having it, the Keureg and the fridge on one circuit blew the power. The property management company was very helpful to get that resolved.

What a lovely spot with deer, dragon flies, Eagles, Hummingbirds! A great clean spot with a nice yard and convenient to Roach and Friday Harbor. We all enjoyed it very much!
