Spectacular Family-Friendly Log Cabin Style Home Near Grand Lake /Rocky Mtn NP!
La nostra casa si trova nella Comunità del Lago Columbine, che si trova a soli 2 km dal Parco Nazionale delle Montagne Rocciose ea un miglio dalla storica città di Grand Lake. Questa cabina moderna è stata splendidamente decorata e può ospitare comodamente 12 persone. C'è un grande ponte per mangiare all'aperto e intrattenere. La grande sala dispone di un bel camino a gas in pietra che fornisce la perfetta quantità di calore in una fredda notte d'inverno.
Cose da fare: escursioni in RMNP, sciare a Granby Ranch o Winter Park, racchette da neve, kayak o paddle-boarding, arrostire marshmallow intorno al fuoco, pescare, godersi l'aria fresca di montagna e 300 giorni di sole. Fare shopping e cenare a Grand Lake è a soli 5 minuti in auto.

Our family LOVED staying at this house. The property was clean, had everything we needed, and was such a great location for a little family getaway to Grand Lake. We had a lovely walk around Columbine Lake one evening since it was right there, and overall it was absolutely perfect for our 5 adults and 4 kids.

This beautifully furnished cabin made our week near Columbine Lake so comfortable and easy. We saw a mother deer with twins and a mother moose with her tiny baby walk past both the front and back decks on more than one occasion. The fully fitted out kitchen made cooking for each other a joy. Hoping to come back soon.

We were to arrive Thursday in Grand Lake, however Mother Nature had a mind of her own and decided to drop 20” of snow throughout Denver and surrounding areas. This caused I-70 and the Berthoud pass to close thus stranding us in Denver for another night. Marcie and Brad were so understanding and very accommodating considering the unexpected weather. We definitely appreciate their flexibility with our reservation. Their home fit our family of 10 perfectly and had ample seating for all. It’s beautiful and well maintained. We definitely recommend staying here!

We had a memorable Christmas with the entire family, the cabin was also “Christmas Ready” with a tree and stockings!! Everyone had fun, the area is beautiful and there are several activities around the area for all ages. We all definitely fell in love with the place and look forward to going back!

We very much enjoyed our stay near Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabin was very well equipped for a young family. They even had a pack-n-play that we could use for our youngest. The children loved all of the puzzles and toys as well. We found the kitchen to be well appointed and ready for us to cook elaborate meals. The owners answered all of our questions and we found the check in process to be seamless. We would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it for other family groups!

This was our second visit to this cabin near Grand Lake; previously we were here during the summer months. We truly enjoyed seeing the snowy peaks and all of the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Our stay was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The cabin is well-equipped and was comfortable for our large group of family and friends. There were multiple living spaces that allowed us to play games, cook together, and just hang out and relax. Everything we needed was already at the property and the owners were communicative and knowledgeable. We always enjoy getting away from the city and this was a great place for us to reconnect as a family!

We had a great stay at the lake house - resting and adventuring. A short walk to Columbine lake, the kids biked on the roads, the house is well set up, plenty of space, and a short drive to town. Amazing deck to watch the sunset!
The hosts made everything easy and were very responsive. Access is automated, really simple instructions, and a laundry room full of supplies!
Worked well as a base camp for kids and adults.

Rocky Mountain National Park has been named one of the most stunning parks in the world, and to stay 5 min. from the entrance, in a quiet home, was a gift beyond measure. At the end of a day of hiking I found myself saying how nice it is to go home...and that's exactly how the cabin felt. I don't know how you combine spacious and cozy, but the the owners of this cabin have done so. My friends from Scotland were so pleased with the accommodations and grateful for the space to both share life and rest. I will gladly, hopefully, be able to stay here again.I highly recommend this home without reservation!

Hosts were extremely non-communicative and non responsive. We were locked out of the house due to the lack of information by the hosts and when trying to get back in, they were non responsive. Their “emergency contact” also never responded. These owners were just awful. The house is also grossly over priced, not at all worth the trip. Do yourself a favor and find another home to rent in the area

Our house was perfect for our 2 families to explore Rocky Mountain National Park and the surrounding areas and come back to relax as a group. It was just a 5 minute drive to the park which was absolutely awesome. Wildlife in the area was stunning. Would stay here again if we are back in the area.

could have used better descriptions for actual location
of ea bedroom and bathroom in the cabin.....
IE; the Bunkroom is in the basement and a bit of a walk
to get to the bathroom. especially important for us seniors.
it was hard to find the dumpster for our trash. the road to Aspen street is not marked. had to ask for directions.

This was the second year our 3 generation family has stayed in this great home. Everything is provided and there is more than enough room for all 11 of us. Marcie is very accessible and accomodating. We had a fantastic week. We would highly recommend it.

The cabin on Columbine Lake was perfect for our family vacation. The location made it easy for us to get to the activities we had planned. Rocky Mountain National Park delivered, we saw elk, deer, moose and many other beautiful wildlife in the majestic mountains. Kayaking on Grand Lake was incredible, we also enjoyed shopping downtown. All in all, a perfect way to end the Summer!

The cabin was a perfect for our guys trip. Plenty of room and the kitchen was well equipped with the miscellaneous items we needed to cook.

Men's church retreat
The property was exactly as advertised and slept 10 of us very comfortably. The house was clean and well kept. Praying was a little tight for 4 vehicles but we made it work.
