My family of 4 booked a Florida vacation months ago and were forced to cancel due to weather at the last minute. I started searching for a backup plan and have family in the Somerset area. This place was perfect for a family of 4 and had everything you could possibly need or forgot to bring with you. Close to basically everything. The hot tub was amazing under the stars and the kids were so happy in the large crystal clear pool across the street. Our host was absolutely delightful and helped us have a great trip even though our big one was canceled. It was so relaxing and much needed for our family.

Everything was great! The property was beautiful and close to everything. We especially enjoyed the hot tub , the covered porch and the firepit . The backyard had an amazing view. The property manager was very prompt if we had any questions. Great for animals. Would definitely stay again!

Our first family trip of 4 was a great success! This house had everything we needed - private pool access across the street, private hot tub in the back with a beautiful view & sitting area, playground for our boys (fenced in yard was a huge bonus with a 2 year old who loves to be outside and explore), grocery store within 15 minutes of the place, and reasonable driving distance to lots of activities for both us & the kids! One of our favorite parts was watching the cows, horses, and deer in the evening while enjoying the warm sunset skies. What a relaxing weekend!
Also worth mentioning, the host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Thanks Kris for a great stay! We’d certainly come back again!

Property was as described, newer 3 bedroom house with what you’d need to stay. The yard area was well setup with being fenced in so the puppers couldn’t escape, fire pit and hot tub were fun.
Communication with Kris was easy and she was quick to answer any question I had (one I think). Overall we’d go back as we had a great time.

This was exactly what we needed! From the moment we walked in the front door, I knew I'd picked the right VRBO property for our getaway. Everything you could think of needing is there. It was close enough to restaurants and stores but enough off the beaten path that the views are just breathtaking. We can't wait to book again when the leaves have changed colors. The restaurant Kris recommended, The Charred Oak Grille, Delicious! Thank you Kris, for everything. If we could give more than 5 stars I would!

We had a great time! This was a perfect house for us as we are outside all the time! We love the back porch area off the kitchen and the fire place. We also appreciated all the amenities I'm the kitchen! Great place to stay during evening and out on water during the day!

Kris was an excellent host. We were able to check in 45 min. early, she allowed 4 dogs and only charged a small pet fee, the fenced yard was so nice and the house was very cute and clean. Very close and convenient to Somerset and other towns. 5 stars.

This pet friendly home was clean and smelled clean and not like animals at all. Fully stocked kitchen, pretty private backyard. Hot tub and pool were totally clean. GREAT hostess.

Absolutely beautiful, everything I expected and more. Everything was very clean and all ready to go for us. My old dogs played like puppies again and loved the freedom. My kids played their hearts out on the play set and loved running around the big yard. We also brought a little pool and set up on the patio for them. The host was amazing and was always quick to respond. We had a bad storm during our stay and the electric went out. Kris was kind enough to offer a refund for half of that days stay due to the electric going out. You can’t go wrong staying here! The only things I would change is having a private pool in the yard. We weren’t able to use the pool because it was out of sight of our dogs and I didn’t want to leave them alone. Also it was hard to read the WiFi info and other streaming services. But other than that it was great!

It was easy to find & the owner gave excellent directions including land marks. Check in & out very easy. Everything you need is there & plenty to do near by..fishing, hiking, boating, shopping etc. First impression was it felt like home away from home. Very clean and tidy. Comfy bed. We love being outside and thoroughly enjoyed both the porch swing and especially the large covered patio with a beautiful view of thefield, farm life & tree covered hills. I enjoyed listening to the cows, roosters, and crickets. If you love to bird watch there are plenty. The fire pit was really nice and all set to go. Our fur babies enjoyed plenty of room to run & play outside as the large yard is fenced in. Owner was super friendly. The only thing which wasn't a big deal because the pool wasn't yet opened but if it is when you go.. it's across the street and unfortunately people tend to speed on the road. If you plan to walk across watch & listen for vehicles.

We were able to have a nice relaxing stay, which is much needed especially as parents. We had our 3 year old daughter and our dog with us. Both had a blast in the backyard running wild and we were able to relax knowing they were safe being fenced in. Our daughter also thought she was super cool having a TV in her bedroom.

This is a lovely, spacious house in the country with a large fenced in backyard which the dogs really enjoyed. The kitchen had lots of available appliances and pots and pans if you like to cook, and they had both indoor and outdoor dining areas. They also have a nice hot tub which was very relaxing. There was an area to have a bonfire, plenty of wood, and a picnic table further out in the yard. There were horses, a few cows, and a donkey in the fields nearby, but the views were terrific from the back yard. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful! We found lots of hiking trails (some with awesome waterfalls) in the Daniel Boone National Forest that were between 30-45 minutes away. The town of Somerset has two particular businesses that we found to be amazing...Master Doughnut (the best doughnuts I've ever eaten, and they also sell smoothies and frappes) and the Sweet Spot (specialty cupcakes and yummy desserts)! It was easy to get to grocery stores or restaurants just 10 minutes from the property, but yet also enjoy the slower pace of country life for a few days at this great house! Hostess was very friendly and accommodating, thank you for a wonderful stay!

Stayed with Kris over Presidents’ Day weekend and it was such a relaxing time. We enjoyed the property, letting our dogs run in the fenced in yard while we sat in the hot tub, soaking in the beauty of farm life around us. Then spent the evenings in by the fireplace. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely updated cozy home. Our dog loved the property and it was great having a fenced in back yard for him. Hot tub was amazing and we had awesome views from it both morning and evening. The fireplace was warm, cozy and romantic. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

With a hot tub, the big fenced in yard for our dogs, and a location centralized to RRG, South Big Fork, and Mammoth Caves, this was a perfect home base for a week of hiking and exploring KY.

We had a fabulous stay at this house just outside of Somerset KY. The house was perfect and we were traveling with our golden doodle and she loved the huge fenced in backyard! Kris was fantastic to work with and there was never any issues!

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts even let us stay an additional night. We loved seeing the horses every morning. The furrbabies had a great time running in the huge fenced in backyard. The kitchen is stocked with anything you could ever need and after cooking a huge Thanksgiving meal the hot tub was exactly what we needed. 5 stars, outstanding!

We spent a week at this property while we were visiting family in Kentucky. It was great for us! Perfect size for a family of 4. The kitchen is really well equipped. The view from the back porch is breathtaking. And the biggest bonus was the pool and hot tub! We will definitely be back next summer. Thanks for a great stay!

This is the second year that we have stayed at this wonderful littlenfarm cottage. We're not busy body vacationers. We love to be somewhere that we can just relax, spend time as a family and just reset. The only complaint I have is there was no cinnamon in the spice cabinet, just joking, Kris does a wonderful job making sure you have everything you need for your stay. Kris, if ever decided to sale this property, i want to be first in line. Thank you so much for working so hard to provide this us and others.

Thelma and Louise our frugs loved the fenced back yard. They played and investigated while interacting with the local farm animals. We saw salamanders, purple martins, blue and red birds, rabbits and many beautiful creatures. The home is comfy and well maintained. There is also a wonderful hot tub for starry nights and misty mornings. The host is wonderful, don't miss out on this opportunity.

I truly love this place ❤️ Very quiet, beautiful, serene, vacinity. The house is beautiful and has everything you need! It was very clean and inviting! The hot tub is heavenly after a long day of hiking! The owner is very sweet and is available for anything you might need. Definitely a place you, your family, and friends, should stay at! You won’t be disappointed!

It was a great week staying here. Far enough out to be secluded but close enough to town if we needed anything. From the time we got there my boys, ages 4&5, starting calling it our new house and referring to our actual home in Michigan as our old house. The house is perfect for a family setting, better than booking a room at the hotel. Being in this house made it perfect for keeping to our routine.
The pool was fun but the hot tub was the best part, especially for the kids. We were in the there morning and night. Thanks again for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be staying here again on our trips back.
