The apartment was very clean and right on the beach. The owner was very responsive with any questions we had. Perfect location with publix right across the street. The hotel restaurant was a bit pricy for what it was so I would recommend eating elsewhere.

This 2 bedroom condo was a great fit for 3 adults for the weekend. We utilized the spa onsite, pool, and bikes. Great location and the onsite restaurant/coffee shop were convenient and had delicious offerings. The condo itself was spacious, with plenty of bathroom space for everyone to get ready and comfortable beds.
The owner was communicative, but not onsite and able to problem solve. We experienced difficulties with checking in/cleaning and conditions of the condo (the condo had not been cleaned), so he provided another space for the first evening. We also only had one key card for the majority of our stay which was problematic because it was needed to use the elevators. We did not hear from the owner on the 2nd day, and were still in the temporary condo so we called at 2 pm and he said someone would be cleaning the one we had paid for. We had to meet the cleaning person to provide them with a key to the condo and wait 3 hours for it to be cleaned. We finally were able to check into the room at 5:30 on the 2nd day of our trip. Once in, 2 fire alarms were beeping and there was a dirty dish under the coffee table and there were dirty sheets on the pull out. We contacted the owner who instructed us to remove the batteries. We did, but they were wired in, so we had to reach out to him again. As we left for dinner we had to leave the key at the desk for the cleaning person to come fix it. We thought they would put in new batteries, but we came back to the fire alarms removed from the wall. We were also told that we would have 3 keys at the desk after dinner and we did not. The following day we were told all three keys would be there and when we went there was one. The need to constantly be contacting the owner and having to be a part of solving problems was not what we signed up for when we sought out a spa getaway. The owner offered for us to stay another free night, but we had flights out of town and work to return to. We asked if we could have our money back for the first night and the owner responded that he would "think about it". Close to midnight on the last night he said he would give us back our money from the first night. We appreciated this but did not appreciate how much we had to be inconvenienced throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this building, the condo itself, and the amenities of the Carillon Spa, but the owner is not onsite and not able to help remedy problems in a timely manner.

The property is amazing and our host was welcoming and very communicative. The property is large, gorgeous, relaxing, and clean. The staff at the property work tirelessly to keep the guests happy and the atmosphere pleasant. An added bonus was the supermarket right across the street which was so convenient!!

- The room is beautiful! A king bed with a HUGE bathroom and queen bedroom with a decent bathroom.
- A kitchen with a coffee maker, stove, microwave, and mini fridges . *however, take note that there are 2 mini fridges and not a full size fridge so you will have limited space and a very tiny “freezer”*
- Henry was an AMAZING communicator and was thorough with his check in and a text away if I had questions
- DO NOT PASS THIS UP! We loved staying here and thought the price was worth it for that resort-like feeling

The surrounding restaurants and businesses are a bit dated and rundown in some cases; however, the resort grounds are nice. The interior was fairly clean but somewhat outdated. We had issues with one of the toilets not working properly and the sink not draining. Both of these issues were in the master bathroom. The host was prompt to get someone to check it out, but it wasn't fully fixed during our stay. Free valet parking is the only parking option.
One of the odd things about this place is that it is a privately-owned unit within a hotel called the Carillon Miami Wellness Resort. Despite staying in the hotel, it does feel as if you are really not a guest at the hotel. The staff all know who is/is not staying in hotel units vs. private units, so this was a bit odd. The main way that they can tell is at private units receive a red door access card, whereas hotel units receive a wristband.
If you want to purchase a wristband--which gets you access to the gym, pool, and beach--you need to pay a very expensive daily fee. That said, you can "sneak" around the resort with your red door cards to get into the pool and beach area, however, we were informed not to let any of the staff see our red door cards.
For the price per night at which this property is charging, I really did not expect to have to deal with this "nuance" at all. Furthermore, you might as well just book a room through the hotel directly and not have to deal with any of this inconvenience, especially during a vacation.
The host was nice and prompt with our issues, but I am not certain that I would stay here again.

College graduation
This was my first experience with reserving through VRBO so was a little nervous but everything ran smoothly. We stayed here for our daughter’s college graduation and were pleasantly surprised! Spacious and very clean accommodations. Owner was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend this property!

Overall, the experience was a 10 out of 10. Although our stay was cut short by the recent coronavirus pandemic Henry was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Amazing stay - perfect accommodations
This 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit was the perfect place for our family vacation this year. The whole unit is beautiful and spacious with all you would need to feel like you are at home. Large living room area in between 2 spacious bedrooms. The kitchen fully equipped for cooking or just having a snack on the kitchen island. The beds were very comfortable which honestly is rare to find when on vacation. The owner is very accommodating and responsive to any and all questions. The hotel is beautiful, the pools are great and the beach is wonderful. The staff in the hotel and pool/beach areas are very helpful and always ready to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Since we have two young children having the supermarket directly across the street and several restaurants within walking distance made the vacation that much easier when deciding what to have for breakfast, lunch or even dinner. Overall staying here was a great choice and we hope to repeat the experience again. Thank you Henry and Kat for our wonderful stay.

Fantastic place to stay!
This apt looks just as the photos on VRBO present it. It was clean and well appointed with all we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable with only one other place that we stayed at during our 3 wk US trip to 5 different locations competing. So good at the end of a busy exhausting day to melt away in those beds. The gym, beach and other amenities available at Canyon are superb and added to it's location places it firmly on our list of places worth staying at again. The space was adequate for our family of 5. 2 older kids shared the bed in other room with baby in our room. The only tiny downside was no worthwhile views (just the street below that seemed to be a service/goods loading zone for the hotel). It did not disrupt us at all though and perhaps a good thing it gets you out early to go and explore and find your own views all around Miami. Henry was efficient and clear in all our communications securing the reservation, arranging arrival time, keys etc. we can look forward to staying here again in the future.itll also be recommended to any friends who are going to Miami.

Beautiful resort right on the beach.
After weeks of searching for the property in Miami that would provide needed space for our family, three adults and 2 year old, we found Canyon Ranch Resort. We rented two bedroom unit from Henry, and really could not believe the place when we arrived, it was exactly as it is on the pictures and in immaculate condition. Two separate bedroom, with two separate bathrooms. Hotel quality, with kitchenette, fridge, dishwasher and a laundry machine. The resort itself is brand new with focus on healthy living, restaurant with all organic food, with the owner discount and very high level of service. The beach is manned at all times with towels, umbrellas as a part of the stay. Valet parking included.
Henry was really easy to deal with over the email and telephone. Michael, property manager met us at the hotel upon our arrival, provided the keys, answered all our questions. Deposit was returned the day after we left.
Loved every day of staying, will most definitely come back.

Great Experience at CR
My wife and 2 children stayed here for 5 nights in March, 2011, and were extremely satisfied with every part of our experience. The apt is exactly as pictured, perfectly maintained and incredibly comfortable. The property is superb for a quiet and relaxed vacation, with SoBe only a 12-min cab ride away if you're looking for more excitement. The pools are kid-friendly (only one 'adult' pool, 3 others for kids, including a sunset pool for late day chillaxing). Henry was fantastic, accomodating and quite helpful in advice on how to make best use of the facilities and resort. We will be back!

Canyon Ranch condo
Beautifull resort with a wonderfull spa, well equiped gym, and great exercise classes. This was a real treat sataying at this resort. Everyting was first class. I would strongly reccomend and we plan to return.

Relax and enjoy Miami Beach
I have just returned from spending two weeks at this property...and I can't wait to return.
Everything was as described and perhaps even nicer. It's easy to describe the physical
attributes of the property, which is first class, but difficult to put into words the relaxing atmosphere.... the pools, the beach, the beachside boardwalk
The biggest surprise was to find myself in a two bedroom fully equipped apartment but at
the same time actually being in a hotel and having the option of ordering room service!!!!
The food at the hotel was delicious and in my opinion not overpriced for the quality of food served.
It was a pleasure to do business with Henry.
I would highly recommend this place and as I said, I can't wait to return.
