Very nice apartment in a secure building. Good location, market downstairs. Fully equipped. Would gladly stay again

We stayed at this rental 10 years ago and liked it so much that we looked it up and stayed here again recently. Clean and well stocked. Quiet and friendly neighbors. Doorman was friendly and helpful. Great location for walking and ubering to many places. We hope to bring our kids next time and stay in one of the owners larger units.

Amazing property where owner has thought of everything to make you feel at home! Location is awesome - can walk to everything! Amenities are top notch too!

I do wish a toilet brush, a bar of facial soap and 1 morning of coffee were included. Without these things, I do not warrant 5 stars.

Best Chicago vacation! Great walkable location, red line subway right at the corner connects to all elevated “L” lines in the downtown Loop tracks, walk to Magnificent Mile and 360 bldg. The subway was safe and fun for me and my teenage girls to experience- a must do. It was important to have a full kitchen to save on eating out 3 times a day, fantastic High Floor views, parking in bldg and knowledgeable tips from the host to plan our stay. We parked and walked or took the subway/“L” to avoid parking fees at destinations. Bldg parking was easy and convent, safe location, clean, well stocked needed items in bath, laundry and kitchen, grocery store at corner, all a + + +. The condo was open, airy, inviting, and the glow of a fire place was another plus. We did the river boat tour at dark with the city a glow in January! So Beautiful! So Much Fun! A huge THANK YOU to the HOSTS for this wonderful experience and memory for my family.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The owners explained the process and all went smoothly. The views from the Penthouse were spectacular. We loved the ambiance with the easy to operate fireplace. The location was the best! Very safe and was very convenient having the grocery store right next to bldg. We would love to stay here again if ever visiting Chicago.

This property was as spectacular as the website said! The views were absolutely amazing! The doorman on shift was always helpful and friendly! So convenient to the Jewel next door! We were in walking distance to everything that we wanted to do in the city. Perfect location!! The penthouse was stocked with all the essentials! So impressed! Comfortable, roomy, and absolutely perfect! Did I mention perfect? Simply was. We will be back for sure!

Loved the view, and the location was close to a lot of the things we wanted to see there. Place was very clean, and I loved that there was a grocery store steps away. It was on the cool side that week, so we didn't use the pool as much as we thought we would... but when we did, it was clean and well maintained. The hosts were great about making sure we had all of the information we needed about picking up our keys, parking, etc Definitely recommend!

Great building, friendly staff (especially Mr. Pierre!), informative hosts, close to subway, plenty of restaurants, and no more than 15 minutes from anything you'd like to do!

Penthouse 5107 is a family trip we’ll all remember fondly, and staying in this penthouse apartment at Grand Plaza is a big part of that. Coming from the west coast with two young kids makes for a long day of travel, and the thorough and quick turnaround pre-stay communications with the property owner gave us confidence evening check-in would go smoothly, and it did. Highlights of this property are the skyline and lake views, including watching the Navy Pier fireworks on Wednesday and Saturday nights. The apartment is beautiful, lobby staff are terrific, and indoor workout facilities are far better than most hotels. Rooftop pool is a rockin’ scene on summer weekends, with lots of pool deck, cabanas, bbqs, etc. Glad we chose this VRBO instead of a hotel.

Celebrating our 20th anniversary and our plan was to eat, drink and be merry. Our best friends stayed with us for two nights and we had three nights to ourselves. This property was in the perfect location for us. Everything we wanted was within a ten-block radius. Having a grocery store in the same building is super convenient too. Don't forget the view, AMAZING!

The city was more upbeat than I expected. Parking was safe; building was safe. Chicago citizens and small businesses seem to be coming up with ways to reduce crime and panhandling.

What a great apartment to spend our first anniversary in! There was a winter storm the first couple of days. This was the perfect apartment to be "snowed in". The fireplace. The views. The location right about a grocery store! It was all perfect. The place was clean and exactly as described. We will definitely rent this penthouse or one of their others when we return. Great communication with the owners. Thanks for a great anniversary trip!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful experience with renting the 1 bedroom penthouse. The pull-out sofa sleeper was very comfortable for our 2 children (ages 5 and 8) and the layout of the space gave my husband and I the room we needed to be able to watch tv or talk after the kids were tucked in for the night. The views of the city are stellar from every window and were so enjoyable while eating meals together. The kitchen had everything you’d need for cooking and storing leftovers/packing lunches to go. There is also a grocery store on the bottom floor of the building that was so convenient. We enjoyed some meals out, but appreciated the ease of meal-making in order to save some money.

We had stayed once before and really enjoyed the property and its location, close to the Red Line too.

Great place to stay in the heart of Chicago. Was everything and more than I had expected. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice place to stay . It was very clean and what the listing described. It was very comfortable for a family of four. The views were fantastic. It was a good centrally located place to stay for what we were there to do and it was also right next to the red line, so going further is no issue. The only complaint was there was differing information from vrbo amd the property owner. There was also way too much information given out. I was paranoid that I was going to forget something or do something incorrect.

My wife and I loved the property and beautiful view of Chicago.

Easy check in (there is a friendly attendant at the front desk 24/7), well stocked (finally, a rental apartment with salt, pepper, and a variety of other spices), and, of course, location and view is superb. We had one person in the bedroom and one on the sleeper sofa. Since the dining room and kitchen is between the living room and bedroom, the person on the sleeper sofa had a fair amount of privacy.

Condo is more spacious than pictured, view from all rooms is excellent, and fireplace adds that special touch!.. PLUS, amenities on another floor within building include full gym/basketball practice area/pool table-TV room/library/outdoor track/outdoor pool/grills...Location SUPERB!! Many restaurants, and the convenience of having Whole Foods/Trader Joes within 3 blocks, and a Jewel Osco adjacent to the building! Walking distance to museums, shows, and seasonal events that Downtown Chicago offers---this unit and it's location makes for a truly wonderful experience! Look forward to returning!

This penthouse was the perfect location for our family to explore Chicago for a few days. It was stocked with everything we needed and we were so grateful for the tea in the room after travelling all day and getting in after everything was closed! The view was so amazing, we almost didn't want to leave to go and explore! Thank you so much for this beautiful home!
