The property was very clean and accommodating for our family of ten. The beds were comfortable. It had a beautiful back garden area and it’s walking distance to anything you need. The beaches and St Andrew’s Old Course were about a ten min walk. The home had washer and dryer, dishwasher, ironing board and much more. We loved our stay at Dempster Court.

Kitchen, dining area and lounge were very spacious. Two of the bedrooms were en-suite which was a bonus.

only thing is the crockery could be replaced as few mugs are stained and plates chipped. Sofa back rests don’t stay up.

Bed in the bedroom with dressing room had 7 slats on the floor and made left hand side of the bed very uncomfortable on the first night. We fixed it ourselves on the Saturday morning but whoever made the bed up must have seen this! Fire in lounge didn’t work. Couch in lounge only had one headrest that worked and therefore was quite uncomfortable.

Self catering. Short walk to main St Andrews streets

Maybe nit picking given rating given, but all of us staying found the large leather L shaped couch in sitting room too low and uncomfortable to sit on. It does look impressive though!

Location good. Easy walking distance for shops. Spacious. Not on busy road.

Hearts sank as we approached house to see a boarded up window. No idea whether it was damaged by a recent previous occupant or an attempted break in. Perhaps a little forewarning might have been appropriate, an apology or an indication of when it might be repaired. The dishwasher was still running after 8 hours so we stopped using it. Downstairs toilet had leak from wash hand basin. Couldn’t see smoke alarms upstairs. As noted in previous reviews the large settee lacked back support.

Location and size of property. Able to allow us to check out hour later to help our parents.

Damaged/boarded window in living room; concern about security. Sofa some areas unable to move the upper cushions into higher position. Some broken furniture that could be fixed. No outdoor furniture.

Lovely property, ideal location, nice garden

Loved the location, so easy to walk everywhere. The house is huge and well equipped and had lovely toiletries in all of the bathrooms. Comfy beds and lots of space for everyone. We loved it and will definitely book again.

Would have been good to sit outside as there is enough room at the back.

Bed in main bedroom had broken slats. Light in sitting room had no bulb with no replacement. Bedrooms lacked bedside lights. Sofa in sitting room awful.

Not enough crockery and glasses for group. Most of the tumbler glasses were chipped Although parking for 3, it was very difficult to drive in and out of the driveway due to neighbours cars. had to reverse either in or out.

Bedrooms and bathrooms excellent although beds could do with mattress protectors shower heads could do with replacing in some of the bathrooms sitting room furniture is not very comfortable and most of the adjustable backs are broken I noticed one review stated that lampshades were dusty and I noticed that this did not look as if it had been attended to apart from all these things that could be attended to quite easily we enjoyed our stay and the fact that we could leave the cars and walk

The location was excellent, only a 10 minute walk from the town centre. The accommodation was well maintained, clean and comfortable.

Lock box was difficult to open. Some of the duvets and pillows need to be replaced. No modern coffee maker. Could not locate a sweeping brush.

Excellent location , clean and tidy , booking good , info and emails from operator great , and help from St Andrews operators all excellent when we needed more than 1key and we couldn't get lounge heating to work.

huge sofa but head rests all broken so cannot fold them up support head/neck so not very relaxing for chatting or watching the very small TV in the lounge ( not 5 star ) lounge gas fire doesn't work ( remote there in room but actual fire has never worked recently ???? ) it would help the ambience in such a big room - better than an oil filled radiator - not 5 star . Were confused which wheelie bins were for No14 - get them labelled for next time please

Lots of space in the house and in general the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean.

The cutlery and crockery wasn’t very clean, think this was due to this dishwasher as some dishes were not being cleaned properly. The cupboard in the corner was broken. There was no cleaning facilities ie brush/pan or mop & bucket. When you have children this is something that is definitely required. We had to buy some for us to use. Food had also been left in the cupboards. Also the bins don’t align with the welcome book and previous guests had used the wrong one.
