We had to call and get a repairman almost every day - multitude of maintenance issues.

Needs better parking we were contacted about our golf cart out side the carport but most of the place had vehicles outside theirs if this is against HOA standards for this location it should be for everyone including locals which where not the friendliest and the pool hrs were posted but not enforced. Other than this our stay and room was nice.

This place was perfect for our family! The community was so cute, the pool right next to us was so convenient with the kids! The view and sunsets from the deck were beautiful! I saw some reviews say the pool was small but i thought it was a great size and it was never crowded, we always were able to get in it and pretty much be the only ones in it. The place has so many towels which was so nice compared to other places we have stayed. The location was so close to the main strip and an easy walk to the beach and all the shops. They had bikes and beach chairs at the house. We did rent a golf cart and having 2 suvs and a golf cart was a tight fit, but they all fit perfect under the house, we just had to swap them around when needed which was not that big of a deal at all. The property manager was extremely easy to communicate with as well.
Overall would stay here again! Such a great week in folly beach, we will be back!

Love the condo and location! House is well equipped and love the bikes!
Mgmt company was little snappy about finding a pool key - stating it was last renters issue that it was not where it was supposed to be - that’s really a mgmt company issue and kindness goes a long way.
But great stay (and we did a search and found the gppol key in the mermaid in the guest bath.)

First time visit - Folly Beach has much to offer & went to Charleston often. Did not have a bad meal or drink anywhere! People were so friendly.
Townhouse was perfect. Hope to be back soon.

My friends and i wanted to go somewhere relaxing and we found it...we walked the short distance to the beach, even during the evening and always felt safe..but watch out for the black biting gnats in the evening. Otherwise wonderul stay.

Gorgeous townhouse fully stocked including bikes, games and beach chairs. Close to everything and very peaceful! Only recommendation is to replace the beds they are not the most comfortable.

Loved everything about 17 Turtle Bay! Our whole family came and we had plenty of room. Everything was there that we needed for cooking, beach, etc. We rented a golf cart which worked out great for going to the beach or into Folly for meals. Screened porch was awesome and we could watch the grandkids in the pool. The huge walk-in closet in master worked great as bedroom for baby in pack-n-play. Would definitely rent this townhouse again!!

Place was in great condition and clean. Very comfortable for our group of 6. It was really nice having the dock to fish from and watch sunsets. The community pool is a little small but still nice enough for our needs.

Usually stay at a hotel in downtown Charlestown and book this Folly Beach condo instead, what a great surprise and find! Unit was super clean, great views of the harbor, great location within walking distance to beach and downtown Folly Beach for restaurants and shopping. Will definitely go this route instead of a hotel next time!

We enjoyed our stay at Turtle Bay. We made use of the pool, which was conveniently located next door to the unit (you can hear a little pool noise but it didn't bother us). The upstairs shared bedroom had noisy mattresses for people who turn a lot in their sleep. We enjoyed the few blocks walk to the beach (maybe recommend bringing a wagon if you have a lot of stuff or young kids). There was beach chairs available for use. There was also bicycles but unfortunately it rained for the last few days of our visit and we didn't get to enjoy them. Overall, I would recommend this place for families to stay.

We had 4 adults, 3 toddlers and a baby with us at the house. Perfect amount of space for all of us. We had a chef in our group who had plenty of pots and pans to use, it was well furnished and clean! The only issue was the coffee pot, we could never get a full pot as it kept turning off, would recommend replacing soon. There was a Keurig as well, but had to use 8 pods a day. We left our extras for the next renter!
We also noticed there were no dish towels, pot holders or cleaning rags so we purchased a big set of each and left in the house for other renters!
The house has a beautiful view of the water, loved the screened in porch for the kids and eating outside. Having the pool right next door was amazing! Never had any noise issues, it was truly an enjoyable week! Highly recommend this house to rent.

We could not have picked a better place to stay and enjoy a relaxed setting. The pool was great. We enjoyed the boat docks and can’t wait to come back with our paddle boards. The condo was so clean and well stocked. We ride the bikes and we’re so grateful for the beach chairs. We also had fun with the games. Thank you for sharing your paradise with us. This rental was in the perfect location with the perfect amenities and the perfect floor plan for our family. The one bed and bath downstairs worked for my elderly mother, with a large bedroom with two beds for our adult sons and a primary bedroom perfect for me and my husband.
We have nothing but great memories for our stay and what was provided as part of the rental.

Last minute weekend getaway
My husband and I decided to go to the beach for a last minute getaway. This property was much larger than we needed, but oh so convenient to everything. We drove to the “pay at the box parking” and enjoyed a very short walk to the beach with all of our gear each day. One evening we rode bikes from the garage on the beach. We walked out on the boat pier and sat on the swing and watched bats come out at dusk, and watched dolphins frolic in the riverfront by the boat landings too. It was a fabulous weekend.
