Pros-Great location , pools kept pristine, short walk to beach, resort provides floats, boards
Cons- our kitchen sink/ disposal leaked the entire 5 days . Had to empty bowl under sink at least twice a day, still water on the floor. Reported it when we first realized and never got it repaired or had texts answered.
This unit is only one of 4 in the entire complex NOT to provide beach chairs and umbrella . Kitchen is very minimally stocked, WIFI is spotty at best, we all just gave up.
I would stay at this complex again but not this unit.

You can’t get a better view, and that’s what we were going for. I don’t like high rise condos so this was perfect. Nice family friendly area. Lots to do. Pools were meticulously cleaned daily. The internet wasn’t great, but this wasn’t too much of an issue since vacation is more about unplugging. The tvs worked without Internet because they had cable. We booked chairs that were set up daily at the beach. The kitchen could use some baking pans. Having a kid with a food allergy means we eat more in than out. This was our first beach trip in years with our boys since we’re mountain/hiking people and it did not disappoint. We’ll visit again.

The property was perfect for a family of 8. The first night we arrived we noticed some sand on the floor throughout the condo, which was probably missed by the housekeepers. The pool was nice and the beach wasn’t crowded. The condo does need some updating like replacing bedroom/bathroom door knobs, Replacing dining table bench, and other small things.
Overall it was a good stay for just a few days.

This condo has a full on beach/ocean view and is the perfect location. You can watch your kids from the balcony when they’re at the pool or the beach. Because this is a smaller complex, the beach is less crowded as well.

Beautiful view
We very much enjoyed our stay at this condo. The view was amazing.
Cons- 4 tiles near the doorway were completely lose. The blinds in the bedroom's were broken to the hallway outside. You could practically see right into the room. With these 2 issues fixed this condo would be a 5 star stay. I will defiantly book again as these minor issues did not affect my stay.

Better than what we could imagine
It was awesome! We had so much fun and the convenience of walking right out on the beach without carrying stuff from the car and finding parking made the days so easy. Kids loved seeing dolphins playing in the ocean from the balcony. You can maximize your vacation by staying here and our manager was super cool. Thank you. We will be back.

Nice room, but needs attention
Nice room but needs some attention. A few items didn't work. 3 lights didn't work , celining fan, fridge lights and microwave light. Fridge shelve broke putting a couple items on it, we believe it was cracked from before. Had to clean up broken glass jar after that one. Internet quit work Friday. Just a couple things but it would of made the stay so much nicer. We will give it a solid 4, updated furniture on the balcony and some attention to detail and this room rocks! Great building, pool and beach!

Beautiful Views
Overall, we had a good experience with this property. The Full and King beds were very comfortable and although there were some things lacking in the kitchen, they had enough variety that we made it work :-). The seating does need to be updated, both inside and on the balcony. All in all, though, we had a great time!

The accommodations in this property are quite comfortable. The building was a wonderful location and there were a ton of towels. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and other items you need to function. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone.

Wonderful Week!
Ft. Walton Beach is a great vacation spot and Summer Place condos is fabulous! We had a family member in a wheelchair and this location was very wheelchair friendly. The property manager was wasy to reach and very willing to make things easy. The specific condo 404 was fine. The beds slept well and the condo was well stocked. However, It was not cleaned as well as other units I've stayed in the past. Also, there were only 2 love seats, so in the evening it was not well suited to accommodate a 3 bedroom condo. This trip was fabulous though and we will definitely go back. However, we will look for a condo with seating for 6 of us to hang out after a long day at the beach.

Peaceful and beautiful.
This property is directly on the beach with a beautiful view. It is just off the really busy roads and we were happy about that. The unit was clean, well furnished, and comfortable. The pools and hot tub were well maintained daily. We would defiantly stay again. We had a very peaceful stay.

SummerPlace 404 exceeded expectations.
Unit was clean, well maintained with very nice furnishings and a direct view of the gulf. My four adult children and I each had a comfortable bed and with two full bath rooms, we didn't have wait times. Private parking lot was well lit and close to the front door. Never had to wait on either of the two elevators and the large carts in the lobby were very convenient for luggage and groceries. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance, by beach or road. With family living in the Fort Walton / Destin area, we will be back to SummerPlace 404.

Wonderful accommodations for our October 2018 stay.
Unit was clean and welcoming upon our arrival. Owner was very accessible. Location is perfect for those who love beaches and pools. Highly recommend a visit!

Good
This is not a three couple type setup even though it’s three beds. The third bed is no more than a bunk bed with a small tv for kids. The master bedroom door would constantly close itself as if the room was of center. The views are awesome. The room is smaller than expected but hard to beat the price. Walls seems to be thin. We could hear everything next door. Beach service is not included, so bring your umbrella and chairs. Two pools and hot tub...no complaints. Bottom line, cheap and worth it if you can put up with the negatives I have said. Would I reserve again? Yes.
