Room was great and breakfast was excellent

It's a quirky establishment which we all enjoyed. Felt like a trip to the French countryside yet we were in the heart of Hermanus.

The only thing I didn't like was the fountain in the garden. It's in need of a tidy up/repaint.

Midden in het centrum van Hermanus. Leuk verblijf. Ontbijt is in restaurant ernaast. Prima. Wifi is perfect. Alleen dame achter de receptie straalt niet uit dat ze het heel leuk vindt.

Nous avons aimé l'emplacement. L'hôtel est très joliment décoré et arrangé. La chambre est grande et on s'y sent bien! Nombreux choix de massage au Spa.

Notre chambre était dans le bâtiment principal, et la fenêtre de la salle de bain donne dans le couloir des chambres.

Location

Charming facilities truly have a southern french flair. The welcome area with fireplace is charming, breakfast was nice. Wish we had time for spa and pool.

Unfassbar schöne Unterkunft mit Charme, sehr freundliches, hilfbereites Personal, hervorragendes Frühstück im angrenzenden Restaurant, 2 Minuten Fußweg bis zur Küste und dem Cliff Path, viele Restaurants sowie Einkaufsstraßen innerhalb weniger Gehminuten erreichbar. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Auberge Burgundy Hotel

Die Unterkunft ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und hatte für uns eine perfekte Lage. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Great staff & top location.

Unfortunately for the hotel there is a major.a building project happening next door. However, for our stay at least, it was not a problem & they finish at 5.

Lovely atmospheric old property, in a great location. Breakfast at Frances ( next door) was great, especially the pancakes. Parking on site for about 4 cars.

Rainy weather!

Location was great. Bed was comfortable.

The breakfast was very limited to just one dish of mains from the neighboring restaurant which had tiny portion sizes. The washroom was too small and a bit dingy. The doors are not sound proof and you can hear anyone even walking outside.

Location, friendliness, everything else was perfect

I feel that to have to pay R22.00 for a cup of tea when finishing breakfast as you are only one cup of tea or coffee as part of the meal is in poor form and spoils the experience. Breakfast normally allows tea or coffee before and after breakfast.

Great, central location and wonderful service. The little room off the lobby with a fire and a complimentary glass of port was a lovely touch. Umbrellas for use when raining (we went in the winter) also a nice touch and the breakfast was excellent.

Lovely place, been twice and enjoyed it each time. The property does its best to mitigate the inconveniences of load shedding.

Great location, parking and ease of moving around.

Very cold in the room, they need another heating pad on the opposite wall.

Location was super central , a few steps away from ocean walk and wonderful restaurants . The staff were really helpful and the breakfast was delicious . The staff was very responsive and organised our Southern Right Whale trip. Also had a wonderful massage at the Spa.

Our door was swollen from wet weather so it was a struggle to open and close. Bathroom also had a slight damp smell.
