Stayed here for one night, but I wish it was two. The hotel and grounds are lovely, the Staff were great and were very attentive. Spa looked nice but unfortunately we did not get chance to use it. Very nice breakfast.

beautiful, great grounds
the key card machine was broken so we couldn’t get into our room without assistance. the bed was also very tiny for 2 people and the air conditioning kept going off every 20 minutes so got really hot in the room

Room was very small. Spa facilities limited. No bookings available by the time the booking form was sent through to us so we weren’t able to have any treatments. Was charged for a substitution with dinner even though it was due to a dietary intolerance. Drinks we didn’t order appeared on our bill - although they did remove them when we mentioned the error. Beer selection was limited.

We stayed here for Christmas day, party of 8 all different ages, from pre-teen to elders. The rooms are exactly like the photos, very nice, clean. Hotel lounge and drawing room are elegant, sylish and comfortable. Heated outdoor pool was brilliant Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice. They didn't specifically do a vegetarian breakfast but they were very accommodating to adapt the regular breakfast to a vegetarian version.
The staff are absolutely exceptional, so attentive and can not do enough for you. Hannah the Manager is amaizing, every little detail was catered for.
Congratulations to Hannah and all of our team! We had an wonderful stay.

Location was good as my daughter was getting married
Rooms were not clean, problems with door card continuously, which delayed the wedding party. Management admitted there was was an issue! Great!
On arrival 2 members of staff were chatting for ages. We were continuously ignored, we had no idea where the check in desk was as it was just a sideboard in the left of the foyer! No one offered to help with heavy baggage either on arrival or departure.
Continually having to ask for toast at breakfast. As 4 half pieces were given to the people on a table! Also had to ask for more tea. no one checking if we needed anything. We were not made to feel special, or even worthy of being a guest.
Very disappointed as it was for such a Special occasion.

The room was dirty.We had used toiletries in the bathroom and a cracked wash basin.

All the staff are very friendly & helpful & the meals were well above our expectations & superb.
The room was stuffy, not really possible to open the window.

Breakfast needs to be standardised quantities were different on Sunday compared to Saturday, also breakfast very dry on Sunday not enjoyable. Also room charges taken from cards before we were able to check the charges
