The reason why we downgraded the place is due to the fact that we believed, we were booking an apartment with a panoramic view of the sea, which could be enjoyed from the bedroom. As per the picture provided on the booking link. We had great expectations and the excitement was building up. We were dreaming about staying at that room! However on arrival we got something completely different... The owner said they have few appointments and only one of them has panoramic view. It took a couple of days to overcome disappointment that we experienced. The location wasn't great for our holiday itinerary however we decided to disregard it for the sake of the beautiful sea view. It turns out there is only one link for the 4 different rooms. And the panoramic views on that link relate to only one of them! We found it very misleading and disappointing as our choice of accommodation would be completely different. There is a lovely balcony with a table and some chairs. However no shade or umbrella on the balcony provided for keeping you away from the strong mid day sun, if you wish to enjoy a lunch or a drink with the sea view. That was inconvenient in July in particular.

Very friendly hosts in a charming apartment. The modern interior and very nice balcony that offers great views made this one of the best apartments of our stay in Crete. The walk down to the beach takes only around 5 minutes.

Excellent location and tastefully decorated . The owners were extremely prompt to sort out any issues . Lovely to return to Cloudberry after a day of sightseeing and enjoy the garden and able to relax overlooking the bay.

Sadly, as is often the case in Greece, the plumbing is not the best and the shower often flooded but the owners did everything they could to solve this issue. Certainly this wouldn’t stop us from staying there again as it’s a lovely place.

Very good location, great views over the bay and just a short walk down to the beach. Very quiet location with a large lawn with sun loungers. I had stayed here a few years ago, the new owners renovated the place. The kitchen facilities are small, but perfectly adequate. Everything is new and spotlessly clean.

Hosts were very helpful , helped us with bags and were always available when we needed anything . The apartment was cleaned daily at our convenience and towels provided when we needed them . A superb location very near to the beach and magnificent views .

I just lost time staring at the views and the amazing sunsets. We loved the candle lights that were put on in the evening it gave a great feeling of home. First rate

There is nothing we didn't like. Location and views and accommodation all fantastic. The only one thing that i would say is future people need to consider is that due to the amazing views you have to walk up some rather steep hills, but this was not a problem for us.

Our host Anna was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with! She made us feel welcomed, was there to answer any questions and help with recommendations. The studio, although quite small, had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped, internet reliable, good shower and air-conditioner. We had a small space right outside with a couple of chairs and table, you could also make use of the loungers on the grass and enjoy the sun and amazing view. The beach is just a couple minutes walk down the road with a few nice restaurants. I'd definitely recommend this place!

The apartment was in a perfect position for the beach with great views of the sea. Rooms are stylish and well equipped with everything you need. The hosts Ulf and Anna were lovely, they let us check in early and leave slightly later than advertised, nothing was a problem for them. Would definitely stay again.

The room was very nice and clean (was cleaned every day). The small kitchen was equipped with all the essential items (induction plate, knives, cultery, cheese grater etc.). The owners were very nice and always available via phone or directly on the premises. The deck in front of the apartmet was exceptionally nice.

The only downside were the way too soft beds. I am not used to sleep on such soft mattresses and it gave me some back problems.

We spent a very nice time in Cloudberry. The wonderful beach of Kalyves is just a few minutes walking. Our host are very discreet and helpful. Amazing view from the balcony.
