There were three stand out things at this hotel: the location, the service and the breakfast!

Right in the heart of the old quarter, a few steps away from many attractions, restaurants and shops. Very nice and confortable rooms and excelent breakfast.

Boutique hotel in the middle of old quarter - location is excellent! The hotel itself is beautiful! Small and very very clean! The breakfast was superb and staff were extremely friendly and professional! We really enjoyed it all! This is by far the best hotel we stayed at in Vietnam (and we’ve been here for almost a month).

It was well located with a short walk to the lake. I loved how a family of four could easily stay in the rooms with the upstairs and downstairs section without having to separate into two rooms. The breakfast buffet was so good with a huge variety of delicious Vietnamese food. The staff were fantastic too. I had to deal with a humiliating major family drama that played out in the lobby in front of all staff and guests. The staff were so good in that they could see we were upset and served us tea whilst leaving us alone. I never got to thank them as I was embarrassed but they certainly made my stay there comfortable and did not look down at us.

The staff are excellent, so friendly and helpful. Hang was superb and really took an interest in making our stay enjoyable, she even came to the hotel on her day off to say goodbye to us in person, so kind of her.

The duplex rooms seem like a good idea but are actually not as practical as a standard room or suite. The downstairs level is not convivial or welcoming and we used it mainly to store our luggage. The spiral staircase is cool but not great trying to carry bags or clothes up and down. Thanks to the efforts of the staff we moved to a large room which was much more comfortable.

Outstanding service from wonderful staff who were very helpful when our daughters domestic flight was rescheduled. The location is superb & we really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel.

The staff were helpful. They upgraded our room to the bigger one for free. The hotel location is great. The sky bar is impressive with a bridge clone. Breakfast was good.

Fantastic & Efficient Stay This is a fantastic hotel located at the heart of the action of the old quarter of Hà Nội. Full marks for location. Full marks for breakfast with good number options for vegetarians as well. Room is very nice, comfortable and tastefully decorated, a bit on the smaller size when it comes to space. I guess this is to be expected for hotel rooms in old quarter. The hotel also has a fancy sky bar with wonderful views of the city skyline. The best part of this hotel however, is the staff. They deserve more than full marks. From the moment we checked in, to the moment we left, all our small requests were looked into both swiftly as well as efficiently. A special thank you to Mr. Richard ( English name ) who checked us in. He was very helpful, warm, efficient and prompt to help us with any queries or requests we had during our stay. He helped us with money exchange ( excellent rate) , laundry, walking / food tours, eating suggestions as well as all the sights to see around the hotel. The same can be said about the staff at checkout ( as well as during breakfast ) who came out till with us till we got into our car departing for the airport and waved us goodbye ! This is what I love about small boutique hotels In Vietnam. The staff gives it their all to make you feel special and are super helpful. I am writing this review from an international chain hotel in Phu quoc and I can feel the difference already ! Would highly recommend my friends, family and those who read this review to stay at this hotel without any doubts. Kudos to the staff. Keep up the good work !

the bathroom a bit small

It was our first trip to Hanoi. I booked the hotel after reading a lot of reviews about the hotel. To be honest, it exceeded my expectations. It was a fantastic experience for us. Very courteous and polite staff each time we reached out to them to gather some information. Staff were really the standout!! Breakfast was very decent. Eggs could be ordered, the menu changes each day with some items like bread, croissant, danish were the same throughout. When our daughter was sick, they also allowed to carry the breakfast to the room. The restaurant staff packed us breakfast for our daughter. Hotel is located at a place where it is walking distance, most of the old quarter areas and some beyond could be covered by walking. It's quite chaotic to walk in the narrow streets where traffic is both ways but it was very much fun. Coming from India, it was not very different to the experience in India. We booked the tour guide via the hotel and it was very good. The hotel staff advised us clearly about the charges, gave recommendations to what sort of tour we must go for based on the time we had. Overall it was a very satisfying holiday.

One of the restaurant staff didn't bother to check if a salad was pure vegetarian before advising us. The salad contained ham, and we were pure vegetarians. We felt that the staff could have checked before just saying that it was vegetarian.
