Everything was like a fairy tail dream for our family, the location was an adventure to get to driving through the winding twisted roads up and through the mountains and when you make it there it’s perfect in every way, truly breathtaking.By day the property was amazing with beautiful little wall lizards and their brightly coloured skin roaming all around the stonework and the swallows coming for a drink in the pool as we swam, eagles would often circle the mountains with such grace and beauty, and by night the beautifully done Stone Mountain Villa would have baby geckos all around with tiny bats flying past the many fairytale like lights laminating areas all around us and even coming for a drink in the pool as we swam. It was like a dream and the kids loved it as much as us. This place was by far the best holiday destination all of us had ever been a truly magical place recommended for anyone wanting to get back to nature and away from technology, we all put our phones away for the whole trip and reconnected in ways we didn’t see coming. Thank you Villa fabrica for our dream holiday 13 days we will never forget.

I have been coming to Crete for years and love everything about the island. Villa Fabrica far surpassed what I was expecting for accommodation. The little extras that were put in place as part of the welcome pack went far beyond what I have previously experienced. This, for me, makes Villa Fabrica an outstanding accommodation. As a single mother of 3 teenage daughters, we had all the space we needed within the property. We had all the space we needed outside to enjoy our piece of isolated, rural, Cretan heaven and feel free to truly relax and enjoy ourselves as a family. Thank you.

I can't say anything I didn't like about the accommodation, but it is a point if you are not comfortable and capable with driving. It is out of the way, rural and isolated from town and shops. You need to be OK with travelling 30 mins plus to a sizeable supermarket and also for restaurants. The roads are more on the challenging side to drive. I have been coming to Crete for years, and it was the most challenging drivewise, but I am comfortable with that. It is something to consider if you are not. I will certainly come back.

Our family had an amazing time at Villa Fabrica. It started with the nice ride in the hills towards the villa, followed by a warm welcome. Some fruits, snacks and some drinks in the fridge were part of the welcoming. Information regarding shops, touristic visits, ... are provided. The site is just wonderful. Surrounded by nature and quietness. Outdoors bbq and pizza at our disposal. All necessary facilities such as washing machine, dishwasher, tv, wifi, oven etc are available. Very nice pool and terrace. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Private parking. House & pool were cleaned once a week! If you really with high quality family time, this place is highly recommended.

Can't think of anything negative to mention. It's just great.

Our stay in Villa fabrika was unforgetable :)))) the Villa is build on a foundation of a XIX century olive oil factory, however build with high quality stone and material - thus the place has both a vibe of tradition and modern comfort. The interior has such a level of warmth and atrention to detail, that a womans hand must have been used to feel truly as if at home <3 The location is great, within driving distance to Chania, in a little valley, such that when swimming in a swimming pool, you feel solitude of being sorrounded by mountain peaks. The hosts are the kindest of people, welcomming us with a basket of olive oil, wine and other goods we didn't even ask for, and then left us to enjoy the stay with complete respect for our privacy. This was by far the best reservation I have ever made on Booking - thank you so much :))))

Our stay at Ville Fabrica was like a dream. The peace and quiet of a small village in the hills, an authentic atmosphere, just the bells of the sheep and the singing of the scops owl at night. The house is great, carefully furnished, everything is clean and carefully maintained.

Remote, Spacious, Scenery, great hosts that make sure we had everything we would need.

The views were brilliant, lovely mountains and the hosts were very helpful and always at hand to help. The house had lots of lovely treats when we arrived including a delicious cake and it’s very well equipped.

The house itself is very dark so you don’t get to see much light and views when inside. It’s also very thin the flooring so you can hear everything all over the house when someone is trying to sleep or watching TV, which makes it more difficult with children.
