Uns haben unsere drei Tage im Camia super gefallen. Das Resort ist toll gelegen (nur 20 Minuten mit dem Roller in die Stadt), hat sehr nettes Personal und ist vor allem sehr schön angelegt. Alle Zimmer sind in kleine Häusern mit maximal vier Zimmern je Haus, was wir viel schöner als die großen Bettenburgen finden. Die Gartenanlage ist mit viel Liebe angelegt und im Stand gehalten und der Pool „oben“ super schön. Highlight ist sicherlich der kleine Privatstrand mit Infinity Pool direkt am Meer, von dem aus man traumhaft den Sonnenuntergang beobachten kann. Wir haben uns nach drei Wochen Backpacking hier sehr wohl gefühlt, optimal entspannen können und würden das Hotel definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Leider sind uns drei kleine Punkte aufgefallen, die nicht zum Anspruch des Resorts passen. Auf den Speisekarten der Restaurants gab es nur sehr, sehr wenige vegetarische Optionen, was für uns die Speisenauswahl doch sehr eingeschränkt hat. Zudem waren die Rezepte für die Cocktails an der Beach Bar nicht wirklich gut…während das Team hervorragende Kokos Shakes gezaubert hat, die mit ein bisschen Ananassaft und Rum eine gute Pina Colada abgegeben hätten, war der eigentliche Cocktail maximal Mittelklasse. Das Können war definitiv da, die vom Hotel vorgegeben Rezepte aber sehr ausbaufähig. Als letzter Punkt ist uns etwas sauer aufgestoßen, dass einige Gäste bereits vor dem Frühstück Liegen am Strand (natürlich in der ersten Reihe) mit ihren Handtüchern reserviert haben. Wer das um 8 Uhr morgens macht und dann nicht vor 12 kommt, ist aus unserer Sicht einfach nur unsozial. Leider ist das Hotelpersonal nicht dagegen vorgegangen…Schade, denn sicher hätte der eine oder andere au gut mal direkt am Pool/Meer gelegen.

Bãi biển quá ngắn và hẹp, còn bị hạn chế bởi bãi đá. Con đường xuống bãi biển/hồ bơi nước mặn khá dốc, resort có offer đi bằng xe điện nhưng cũng không tiện dụng lắm. Vị trí xa mọi thứ nên phải di chuyển dài.

Le personnel aux petits soins. Les extérieurs incroyablement beaux, calmes, verdoyants et bien pensés. Le confort de la chambre, particulièrement la taille du lit et la salle de bain.

Smaczne śniadania. Zupa Pho bardzo dobra. Duży wybór dań na ciepło i zimno. Dodatkowo kącik ze słodyczami oraz spory wybór świeżych soków.

Ein Arbeitskollege meiner Frau hatte uns das Camia empfohlen. Das war ein sehr guter Tipp. Wir hatten eine Villa mit Meeresblick. Es war etwas luxuriös und die Einrichtung sehr gelungen. Besonders die Dusche mit dem Ambiente, als wäre man im Garten, hat uns gefallen. Das ganze Gelände mit den beiden Pools ist sehr ansprechend. Und wir konnten am Strand liegen, im Meer baden und Cocktails trinken. Wir haben jeden Tag lecker im Restaurant gegessen (auch mal einen Burger). Die Rezeption vermittelt Touren und auch Taxifahrer. So waren wir für umgerechnet 42 € sechs Stunden mit einem Taxi unterwegs, den Süden der Insel zu erkunden. Der Fahrer sprach auch Englisch. Die Abholung vom Airport und das Hinfahren am Tag der Abreise waren inklusive.

Die Beleuchtung konnte nur von einer Seite des Bettes ausgeschaltet werden. Direkt am Bett gab es keine Lampen. Fahrräder konnte man kostenlos mieten. Es gab keines, das für mich geeignet war (Sattel zu niedrig, ging einfach nicht höher). Und was soll bitte der Zettel, dass man nicht auf- oder abwärts fahren dürfte? Die Bremsen gehen nur geringfügig, einen Rücktritt gibt es nicht. In der Gegend geht es aber hinauf und hinunter.

First of all as this is unique for Vietnam, the resort is EXACTLY as displayed on the pictures. We have never seen a resort that is such well kept as Camia and thus matches the pictures. The staff is very kind and supportive they give their everything to make you feel comfortable and they will do their very best in case you need something. As displayed through the pictures the hotel does not have a huge beach part. Nevertheless you are able to take a swim in the sea or you enjoy one of the two beautiful pools, one of which is even salt water. The Spa is just fantastic. It offers a sufficient variety of treatments for a decent price. The staff is well trained which is key in having a good massage and thus to be able to relax. We went over three times as we just could not get enough while trying various treatments.

The overall food quality within the breakfast as well as lunch/ dinner offer is good but could be better compared to the overall high standard of the hotel. However, it must be mentioned that some dishes are very good as some are just average and thus could be better. The breakfast offers a great variety of food which overall could have a bit higher quality to give Camia the final touches to an overall anazing experience.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Facilities towards the sea are great and restaurant food is good.

Breakfast was quite disappointing. A vast selection of food that was unfortunately not kept warm and gave both me and my friends severe stomach ache. I’d still rate it an 8 overall as the other hotels on the island can be ever worse.

Das Resort ist ruhig gelegen und über einem Hang verteilt, was sehr schön ist, da man beim runtergehen eine wundervolle Aussicht hat. Die beiden Pools sind der Hammer, vor allem der Natur Pool am Strand. Dort kann man den Sonnenuntergang voll und ganz genießen. Der Strand war schön und sauber, das Meer auch – kein Müll. Im Meer kann man also gut baden, es gibt auch ein paar schöne Fische. Das Frühstück war äußerst lecker und man hatte sehr viel Auswahl an Gerichten und jeden Tag gab es neue Sachen. Das Personal war sensationell, stets freundlich, hilfsbereit und konnte jeden Wunsch von den Augen lesen. Man fühlte sich stets gut aufgehoben. Die Anlage war groß und sehr gepflegt. Unser Zimmer war auch groß, sauber und sehr komfortabel. Das Abendessen im Sunset Restaurant war ausgezeichnet. Am liebsten würde ich mehr Punkte geben. Wir können das Camia Resort aus ganzem Herzen weiterempfehlen, wir haben uns sehr sehr wohlgefühlt und es hätte nicht besser sein können.

One of the best resorts we have stayed in! The staff is so kind and polite. The resort itself is amazing with two infinity pools and the most romantic ocean view restaurant with a large variety of dishes. The rooms are lovely, we had a garden view and a bathtub, all the amenities super clean and recently renovated. Overall, the perfect place if you want to relax and have a chill and quiet holiday!

If I had to mention one point of improvement, it would be the breakfast. Everyday there was a chef cooking eggs which was really nice, but I would have personally preferred more sweets and fruit. Still pretty good!

Very nice positioned at the west side of the island with  an infinity, pool, and another additional one near the reception. The garden all around the rooms/villas is very well cured with jasmine bushes and palm trees all around. Very helpful personnel. Amazing sunset view . Night restaurant near the beach. Beautiful and original villa’s interiors. It is an enchanting place .

 If you book a villa near the beach the breakfast restaurant, it’s up the hill, quite far away. It might be hard for elderly people.  We were a little bit disappointed by the breakfast selection as the resort can easily be appointed as a luxury complex. The hotel itself it spreads from the top of the hill and remains isolated far from Restaurants and other Shops of the neighborhood. You will need a taxi if you want to move around. Food prices mirror western standards

La plage est vraiment très petite et du coup les chambres « vue mer » sont très proches du restaurant et de la piscine.

Great property. No complaints with rooms, food or facilities.

No restaurants and spas within walking distance so we ended up taking cab rides to main town for meals most of the time. Spa was booked out on all 4 days we were there. Lotus spa nearby was very good and offers complimentary pick up and drop off service. Better location to stay than Vinpearl which was quite deserted.

I thought I could swim in the sea, but unfortunately I couldn't.

Second time being here and never disappoint. The view is remarkable and their breakfast buffet is the catch. Variety and changes everyday. The staff were so kind. Wouldn’t mind staying here again.

The property is very beautiful and carefully maintained by the dedicated staff. The beach pool and restaurant were excellent and my oceanfront room very spacious. What sets this property apart for me was the outstanding service. I came down with the flu on my second day and one of the staff members, Hue, (pronounced Way), went above and beyond to make sure that I was looked after. She called my room to check in, she sent over hot ginger tea, she called when I missed breakfast one day to see if I would like something brought to my room and she suggested items on the breakfast menu to help me feel better. This on top of her genuine concern for a perfect stay. She said that she was just doing her job - so modest for someone so caring. I can’t recommend this place enough. I have stayed at perhaps 25 hotels in the past five months and the service here was head and shoulders above the rest. Thank you so much for making me feel so special! Com on ban! Beautiful grounds, two great pools. Good breakfast.

We didn’t realise snorkeling and kayaking was not available while he were there due to the high winds in summer months - this could have been advertised more clearly. The gym was also not available due to water leaks.

Very nice breakfast and very good beachbar. Staff is really friendly and helpfull. The view is amazing
