What a find! The most gorgeous, quirky little house, located within an easy walk of most of Vieux-Lille and an off street parking space. it is beautifully kitted out and lovely thoughtful touches/food/condiments. We loved our time here and will hope to stay again if we return to Lille.

The bath doesn’t function as bath (no plug) or shower (no shower screen, erratic shower head), but it’s liveable with for a short break.

The very helpful concierge service and secure parking.

The location of the property is very good and within easy walking distance of the property. The private parking is a bonus. The apartment is ideal for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We found the beds to be comfortable and the kitchen area is a good family eating area.

On arrival, the key code to the main courtyard didn't work - we rang the number on the booking form for the concierge service and we could only get the answer machine. Luckily there were some other people staying in the apartment block who were able to help us to enter the courtyard otherwise we would not have been able to get in. There is a door from the main parking courtyard to the apartment courtyard which is lockable but after this point, the sliding patio door to enter into the apartment doesn't lock and the handle was held on by electrical tape. As the apartment courtyard backs onto other properties, we were very uneasy about leaving valuables such as laptops in the apartment. We knew about the shower and this was not a problem for us, but it is clear that the room is very damp and it smells all the time. It is a shame as it is a design fault for the bath / shower, but the issue needs to be investigated as the smell is very unpleasant. The window in the bathroom also has electrical tape holding it together. The apartment wasn't clean in areas such as tops of radiators, patio windows were filthy and there were lampshades broken. We rang the concierge service several times during our stay but only ever got the answer machine. Not good when the issues were urgent. The apartment is a nice apartment and the issues need rectifying to get better scores / feedback

Great kitchen and ground floor, clean and spacious. Fantastic location on a quiet street but close to centre of old town.

Needs a little maintenance- very wobbly step into the living room, one of the beds tipped if you sat on the edge , shower only worked if you sat in the bath, hot water ran out quickly, garden needed a little attention. . These are small things as over all was great and the location excellent but would make a difference if addressed I would say that the upstairs bedrooms are only really suitable for 1 adult or for children, they would be a squash for two adults.

The location was good - in a quiet residential street very near the old town, and supermarket/boulanger. The small garden space was nice (although the garden was very untidy) The washing machine and airer were useful

We saw no sign of a concierge until we were leaving, when he came to change the linen. The house is not suitable for three adults - while the room on the first floor was OK, those in the attic had no furniture apart from a bed (in one case not even a bedside table) so there was no where to put possessions except on the floor, and most of the floor spaces under the eaves so involved crouching down uncomfortably to retrieve items. The bath has no plug so is unusable and the overbath hand held shower has no shower curtain and is set against the eaves, so that it is impossible to use without putting water all over the floor - no cloths were provided to mop up. Probably as a consequence it smelled permanently of damp. No local information was provided for guests.

The house is very spacious, very nicely renovated with a modern kitchen on the ground floor. It is located in a quiet backyard with its private patio. Parking is in the courtyard next to the entrance of the apartment, it is a big plus in the centre of Lille to have a private carpark. Access is easy with a door code for entering the courtyard, and a keybox for the apartment.

Everything was perfect.
