La nostra casa a schiera in stile Mountain Lodge con 3 camere da letto e 2 bagni si trova sul fiume Animas. Il cuore del centro è a 5 minuti a piedi.
La nostra casa di 2300 piedi quadrati è stata costruita nel 2008 utilizzando materiali ecologici ad alta efficienza energetica. L'unità è al piano superiore e comprende un ascensore per l'accesso alla porta d'ingresso, uno spazio garage con scale sul retro dell'unità e un parcheggio fuori strada. Ci sono serrature a codice sulle porte, quindi non sono necessarie chiavi. C'è un mudroom sia agli ingressi anteriori che posteriori per il deposito di sci e snowboard in inverno. Abbiamo biciclette extra che puoi usare in estate, inclusa una e-bike gratuitamente.
La zona giorno è un moderno concetto aperto con una grande isola in cucina. La cucina gourmet ha elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile, un piano cottura a induzione efficiente, un sacco di spazio sul bancone ed è dotata di tutto il necessario. C'è una macchina da caffè Nespresso con cialde in dotazione e una normale macchina da caffè. La sala da pranzo può ospitare fino a otto persone.
Il soggiorno comprende un camino a gas e una TV a grande schermo. Ha una perfetta area di intrattenimento aperta, tra cui doppie porte scorrevoli che si aprono sul ponte posteriore con posti a sedere e una griglia a gas.
Ci sono pavimenti in legno di bambù in tutta la casa. La casa dispone di aria condizionata e di molte finestre schermate per far entrare l'aria fresca di montagna e la luce.

This was by far the best VRBO we've stayed at! Listing was completely accurate, location was fantastic! The outdoor space made this stay so lovely and special for our family! It didn't feel like a rental but more like home away from home. Lots of amenities and everything we needed. Property owner was super kind and responsive when we contacted them...definitely will be back!

Great condo located on the Animas river! Fit our needs perfectly. Right next to pedestrian bridge that crosses Animas river and one block from Main St. First trip to Durango and condo was a great place to relax in the evening after long day of activities.

We chose this property for a family reunion. One couple stayed at the Strater and walked over each day. This is one of our best ever VRBO's. So well stocked. Incredible location. Never used the car during a five day stay, and loved the walks over the river into town. Hosts are wonderful, and live next door. So many outdoor spaces. Most people stay longer, and leave a lot of staples. Cooked on the deck and loved it.

Thankful we nabbed this location for our Durango stay. Easy walk to town for meals and to parks with our young son. Easy for our aging parents to get to. When in Durango, will def come back to this location. Thanks Teresa.

Perfect location, beautifully set right on the river. Walking distance to downtown. House was very nice and clean. The owner’s attention to detail was apparent. Would definitely recommend this place!

This home is all it is described to be and more. It is spacious, with a beautiful outside deck overlooking the river. The kitchen is fantastic and the bedrooms very comfortable, The hosts clearly put a lot of effort into making it a great home for visitors. The location is also great, sitting right above the Durango bike path. We had a wonderful visit.

This was perhaps the most well equipped VRBO I have stayed in. There are 5 ways one can make coffee at Teresa’s VRBO, multiple other kitchen conveniences, and other things one typically only finds at home. Layout is optimal as well. Perfect.

Our visit served as introduction to Durango for my brother, sister-in-law & niece. This welcoming property, on the Animas River, sets the mood perfectly. The east facing, covered deck beckons guests outdoors to soak in the view & the town’s vibe. The location, adjacent to the bridge for quick access to the river walk with all its offerings, is ideal.
Inside, this unit provides all the comforts & conveniences of home with a Durango flair. It is, hands down, the best provisioned property I have ever rented. You’ll want for nothing in terms of linens, bathroom toiletries, kitchen appliances & utensils. A stay at the Animas River Basecamp is livin’ the Durango dream.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Durango! The house was perfect. The location was close to Main Street and the river. The house was clean and well stocked (I really appreciated the little details). The hosts are friendly and communicative. Highly recommend!

Location and property couldn’t be better for a stay in Durango. Right along the river for fishing, and path for walking and biking, walking distance to town, which is an awesome town to explore.
Basecamp has super outdoor spaces for gathering with friends, is clean, stocked and well equipped for cooking and relaxing with friends. A great vrbo.

We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect, close to the train, shopping, dining and golf! Sitting on the back deck was relaxing with the river flowing behind it. Our hosts were gracious and the home was very clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. Thank you!

We had a great experience staying at Animas River Basecamp. It’s one of the nicest vacation homes that we’ve rented. Everything in the house is high quality and attractive. For two couples, it was very spacious, clean and furnished with everything you would need.
We especially enjoyed the “coffee station” in the morning and cooking meals in the evening. We also loved that one of the porches looked out over the Animas River!
The apartment is close to downtown Durango, about a 10 minute easy walk. It was nice to park the car for most of our stay. Hosts Teresa and Doug are friendly and helpful, and communication with them was excellent. Checking in and out was simple.
Durango is a wonderful place to visit with hiking, biking, good restaurants and historic places at your fingertips. Thank you Teresa and Doug for sharing your wonderful home with us!

The property is very beautiful and centrally located. Just a 5 minute walk to downtown that has an abundance of shops and restaurants. Great hosts who were always available.The house is very well appointed with everything you'll need for a great stay!!

Lovely home. Will be back for sure. Garage fit our Jeep wrangler with roof box on top. Comfy, clean, well equipped house. Nice furnishings & art, lighting, and extras; books, games, plenty of towels, blankets and bedding. Comfy beds. Nice patios. Loved sitting out back over the yard and river and watching the deer who visited. Great coffee and tea supplies. Good washing facilities and kitchen supplies. Super easy communication with owner. Lovely sitting area and dining table. Robes in master plus storage space. Less than 1mile walk to main st and shops/dining. Great spot for drive to Purgatory ski as you avoid most of town.

The property was in great shape. Had everything needed for our week stay. Located in a great spot in which you can walk across the bridge into town to everything. Easy access up to Purgatory resort and Nordic center. Property had a great Colorado feel. Definitely stay again.

This property is perfect for 6 people. There is plenty of room in the living area, the dining table fits 6 with room to spare, a really nice kitchen, a deck with comfortable furniture and a bbq. It all got used. An easy walk to supermarket and downtown.

Visiting Durango for a family wedding. This was a wonderful rental for two adult couples. Very spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed.
Located in a quiet residential neighborhood on the Animas River and an easy short walk to town. Beautiful yard and gardens. Our favorite feature was the deck overlooking the river, a perfect spot for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Owner was very responsive and greeted us upon arrival. Highly recommended!

More spacious even than pics, had everything we could possibly need. Decor so fun and made us feel a world away from home. Walkable but tucked just far enough away from heart of town to be nice and quiet at night. Sits right on Animas river - beautiful! Owner very responsive, though we didn’t need a thing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The place was beautiful. The host were great. We had a brunch the day after the wedding. Everyone who came loved the house and wanted the info for their next visit to Durango. Thank you for a great place and a great time. BTW it was easy access to everywhere in town

The host, Teresa, was accommodating, welcoming and very responsive. We enjoyed the house so much! It is decorated like someone’s own home and she takes care of you like family. We enjoyed all the decor, patios, views and the location to downtown, river access and lakes. It is a quiet neighborhood and quiet house. Parking was easy and the elevator made carrying our stuff in and out a breeze. I hope to stay here again soon! It was wonderful!!

Communication with Teresa was awesome. She sent very detailed instructions for parking and how to enter the house, that were a little intimidating to read but once we arrived it all made sense! She also has a very detailed book in the house with recommendations on things to do, where to eat, as well as other helpful tidbits. We were all very happy with our stay here and would not hesitate to stay here again!!

This place has everything you would need for a weekend getaway or an extended stay. The location is outstanding as everything downtown is within a 15 minute walk. Would stay here again without a doubt!
