Swimming pools, beach, our suite was very nice clean and comfortable, and they have around 5 restaurants with different food

The only thing that the hotel is very far from the city but still its good to relax and enjoy for few days

Zwembad is mooi en groot, groter dan op de foto’s lijkt. Strand is schoon. Kamer is gedateerd maar schoon. Veel keuze bij het ontbijt. De te boeken romantic fine dining is erg leuk (mits er niemand anders dit op dezelfde dag boekt)

Je betaalt 5 sterren maar het is zeker geen 5 sterren waard! Het resort is oud, staat gedeeltelijk leeg en is verpauperd. Tijdens ons verblijf werd 1 van de 2 zwembaden gerenoveerd, volgens de brief op de kamer 7-21 mei maar op 25 mei was het nog niet open. Toiletten bij zwembad zijn vies en erg oud. Je moet zelf naar de bar voor een drankje te bestellen. Vieze borden en glazen worden bij het zwembad niet opgehaald. Eten bestellen bij het restaurant en zwembad duurt extreem lang, zelfs toen er niemand op het resort was. Bediening in restaurant is slecht, komen met de rekening zonder te vragen of je nog dessert wilt. Er is geen mineraalwater op de kamer. Wifi op het strand is slecht en er is geen bediening bij het strand mogelijk. Bij de receptie wordt slecht Engels gesproken. Locatie is afgelegen. Hierdoor lastig een Grab te boeken en iedere keer 40 minuten heen en terug naar het bruisende stadje vonden wij ver. Eten en drinken op resort is erg duur. Als je op het strand verder loopt kan je drankjes kopen bij een stalletje voor 3x goedkoper.

It was an amazing experience.everyone from the front office to the people i had communication via telephone was top notch in making our stay great.The staff made it clear that we are their important guests. the staff greeted us the minute we arrived

the only thing we had an issue was half biled eggs is not in the menu . although the staff tried their best to fulfill the half boiled egg serving to us..its always comes as hardboiled egg when we crack open the egg. The staff was hesitant to break the eggs at the kitchen .So when they walk to our table the eggs become hard boiled. maybe the FnB can figure it out to put half boiled egg as part of the menu n training. The staff are really well prepared . I gues being a fanatic half boiled egg fan is something new they had to face

My wife and I loved THAT amazing view of the two islands facing the resort! It was a breath taking view, and it felt magical both during sunrise and sunset. Beautiful gardens, landscape and preservation of the flora and fauna. Our honeymoon was lovely and full of memories, thanks to this first impression of visiting Langkawi! Definitely will be looking forward for another stay here in the future. Beds and toilet were clean, just like in the pictures. and thank you for decorating the bed for a honeymoon set up! Dinner at Sands and breakfast spread was excellent! Worth it! Staffs were very friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived until we checked out. I forgot the names of the two staffs (Malay male 40s and young Indian female) who attended me during check in. and a friendly tall Malay Chef who chatted with us during breakfast. Thank you for making our stay in Tanjung Rhu a lovely one!

No lifts or elevators. If your room is on the top floor, you have to climb up the flight of stairs and carry your baggage all the way to the top. In my case, the staffs were super helpful and did all the job (including carrying it down to the lobby during check out). The ironing board in my room was musty and mouldy. You can improve on that one. The walk to and from the Sands Restaurant at night was a bit dark. There was also a restaurant or cafe that was closed down. I did not know what it is called but it looks somewhat creepy during the night hahaha. However, this does not downgrade my praise and satisfaction during my stay at Tanjung Rhu!

The resort’s ambience, design, and facilities were superb. The room was spacious, luxurious, and had amazing garden and ocean views. All members of staff were outstanding with sincere, friendly, and professional being some of their qualities that stood out. To give an example, they prepared a small birthday celebration for my wife, all on their own accord. The place was a huge hit also with our kids. They loved switching between the sea and pool, which are right next to each other, and enjoyed playing various games in the pool made possible due to its unique design. Bathrobes, a nice movie selection, delicious food, and additional water activities right at the location were also mentioned as highlights of the stay.

There was nothing not to like.

The million dollars view …The hotel is old but refurbished and they trying their best….

the sofa bed was not so comfortable, would have been nice if the extra bed was actually a proper single bed. And the abandoned blocks which actually not a good view.
