Dinner at Colberg Castle was absolutely fabulous. The breakfast the next morning was also delicious and well catered. The staff spoke English and German with us. There were more modern accommodations and traditional historic rooms. We had one of each. The atmosphere at Colburg Castle is pretty incredible. The views are breathtaking and just walking the grounds takes you back to a time long ago. I would highly recommend you visit Colberg Castle on your next trip.

We loved to custle, the location and the restaurant

The owners or whoever is running their booking account has to be sent back to a business school. You do not put people in the worst room you have just because they come with a dog in a pet friendly hotel when your hotel is empty. The room we got was simply offensive, ibis for 30euro a night has better looking rooms. That's while we were told, the room you choose is not dog friendly so here are two more expensive choices. Simply outrageous! To top it all off, after we upgraded and got significantly better room, it still had worn off and torn furniture

Clean, time travel, very special hotel it brings you back in time. Staff is excellent, rooms are cozy and warm, breakfast is good. View over villages around is amazing.

Most amazing place I’ve ever stayed. warm, inviting, friendly, magical. you walk in and feel inspired and eager to explore. lovely views at every turn. warm. quiet.

the castle is very cool, we had a fabulous dinner there and the breakfast was nice basics. the view point for sunset is a must. Rooms are simple and clean, We are glad we stayed!

no tea making in the room is a bummer, but this seems to be occurrence in Germany..

My family stayed in three rooms, from the base level to a very nice suite and all rooms were excellent. They have done an excellent job of making it still feel like an castle (which it it) but also be comfortable and modern. Perfect for families who want a castle experience and also perfect for a romantic couple getaway. We used it as a base to visit Rothenburg (15 min drive), Ansbach (20 min drive), and Nuremberg (1 hour drive). The majestic red stag and fallow deer on the property were beautiful and there are plenty of hikes right from the castle gate.

Hotel is located in medvieval Hohenzollern castle. Amazing picture view on landscape around. Excellent place to explore Rothenburg and other Frankonian attractions.
