We did enjoy our time spent at Mavra Studios. Our room was very clean and fancy. We did appreciate our balcony on which we had breakfast every morning. The beach was across the street where we've found a calm sea in a beautiful landscape with crystal water. The host is very nice, always willing to help and give directions. We recommend Mavra Studios as base to explore beautiful Lefkada.

Gregory and his staff were beyond welcoming. The room wasn't the same as the pictures- it was better. The stovetop was newer, and that wasn't stated. We had read that the beds were comfortable at Mavra, but oh man... like sleeping on the clouds. Regarding the noise- what the owner replies is also true. They have really good sound proofing windows and you can't hear anything when they're closed.
Across the street is the beach and a beach bar. It's open until late, around 23h, so if you want to buy something to drink and have it on the beach in the evening, you can. The staff in the beach bar are so nice as well- having morning coffee at Lygia beach, and every morning a pleasant chat with an amazing staff... we were really impressed. I think the businesses have a different owner but it's really convenient.
The location! The pharmacy is close by, restaurants are a walk away. Parking wasn't difficult for us, and I think it's beacause we booked our holiday in July.
Honestly it's difficult to summarize the stay, you need to experience the warm welcoming nature of this stay by yourself which we highly recommend.
We booked a room with no view, and we weren't impressed by the balcony. But for that price and location we hardly used the balcony, you just cross the street and you're at the loveliest beach (in our oppinion) on the east side of Lefkada, so it wasn't a big issue for us just something that we didn't enjoy as much as the rest of the stay.

Fabulous location. Small beach out the front with easy access to the remainder of the island. Magnificent views from the balcony out across the sea. Gregory the host is the bomb. Fantastic guy, helpful, super chilled and just makes things happen. Thoroughly recommend.

The host Gregory was wonderful and nothing was a bother for him, the location was great if you have a car to get around with and the apartment was very clean and comfortable.

The location was excellent, offering beautiful views and a clear-water beach right in front of the property. The staff were very friendly and accommodating ready to help and give information.
The downside was the noise from being on the main street, making it difficult to stay with open windows. If you're not bothered by noise, it's still a great option.

My husband, myself and two friends spent a very good week at this hotel which I would highly recommend. The rooms had everything you would need to include all cooking facilities, a fridge with a freezer, air conditioning and excellent wifi. The staff were not only friendly but more than helpful with their advice as to where to go.
Everything was clean including our rooms which were cleaned every two days and fresh sheets and towels were provided on these days. Once outside and just across the street was the beech (there are rooms with a view to this) and restaurants were with a three minute walk although we found a restaurant within a six minute walk which was excellent (my husband and I holiday abroad at least twice a year and this was without doubt the best cooked Greek food we had eaten).
I would like to give this hotel eleven out of ten but, not being possible it will receive my highest mark of ten out of ten.

Our room was perfect, the beach was right opposite and the view from our balcony was amazing. the sunrise over the Mediterranean was sublime. The staff and owner were friendly, helpful and always ready with suggestions and advice about where to go what to see and what do. We had an amazing time.

The owner was very friendly, gave us a lot of information about where to go. And the place is amazing, calm and clean. The beds are comfortable, the shower is modern, and there's a small kitchen, which makes it easier to prepare your meals sometimes.

If you are claustrophobic the bathroom it's not a place for you. Super tight, super small, even the shower.

the room was with a sea view . clean. I spent there a night so i was satisfied. restaurant, bakery and mini market are very close (less then 5-10min walk)

The location is good. The bed is comfortable.
The manager of the property is careless. The staff is careless too. The room was just cleanish. The bathroom is horrible, small and very uncomfortable.The photos they post and the reality is 2 different things.

The property looked OK, property location was great and room/room location looked marvelous.
The staff was friendly and tried to solve one big issue that I had.
The room, although looking great was relatively small also due to furniture arrangement (but I understand that space was the trade off for the room to look great).
The only big minus was the fact my 10 years old kid didn't had a sofa bed but an extendable chair instead.
This was partially solved with an extra mattress but I still have a disappointing feeling for the fact it was not mentioned when booking the room.

Great location literally at the beach , the staff was very friendly and kind and helped us with all the questions we had about the island. 10/10 would recommend for everyone.

Cleanliness and friendly staff
The location is awful. The main highway is under the window, we couldn"t sleep at all. Buses, trucks, motocycles run through the night. This is a place where you come once and never again.

The staff were so friendly. They happily allowed us to extend our stay for another week. They would always ask us how we were and how our day has been. Cleaners cleaned the room every 3 days and were so friendly despite not being able to speak English. Location was ideal, right on the beach, however you do need a car to go anywhere as there isn’t much there other than a small beach, a few shops and restaurants. The room was basic but ideal for our needs, great value for money.
In order to use the sun loungers you have to buy something from them despite paying to stay at the property. The bathroom was very tiny too, barely enough room to shower yourself properly. The sun loungers/ beds on the beach are not as advertised on Booking.com, just metal sun loungers, no sun beds.
