Nos recibió Lisa, quien amablemente nos esperó en la casa para entregarnos las llaves y explicarnos todo con gran carisma, la ubicación es perfecta para quienes desean desconectar, es una casa típica canaria, exquisitamente ambientada con muebles de época, muy cómoda y confortable para quienes deseen vivir una experiencia única, coincidimos con Conchy, la propietaria, quien nos brindó una excelente acogida, explicándonos la historia y aspectos a destacar del recinto, se ubica a poca distancia de excelentes restaurantes y sitios turísticos, tales como el Icod de los Vinos, que tiene un restaurante excepcional. Nos permitieron llevar a la perra, algo que valoramos enormemente, volveremos sin dudarlo!

Nice rural place to visit with friends. Extremely attentive and friendly hosts. Very nice and large balcony. The place had very nice interior. Down to the hill, there were beautiful rocky beach to walk.

La terraza es muy bonita, la cocina y el baño están bien.

No pudimos utilizar una de las habitaciones por el fuerte olor a humedad. Hay varios alojamientos y el nuestro era bastante más oscuro de lo que aparecía en las fotos.

Underbart stor och charmig lägenhet med en jättetakterass. Den tveksamhet vi läste i annan kommentar om ”stupande gator” och svårt att ta sig dit tycker vi inte stämmer. När man väl hittat dit -lätt med GPS- fanns en stor p-plats nära huset utan stupande gator.

Bei der Ankunft war der TV-Receiver defekt (wurde am nächsten Tag getauscht), der Toaster nicht benutzbar (wurde sofort getauscht), Fensterrahmen, v.a. in der Küche, löchrig und überholungsbedürftig, Garten wirkt spontan bis pflegebedürftig (Unkraut), Matratze stark durchgelegen, Jacuzzi wegen verstopften Filters die letzten Tage nicht nutzbar.

Es muy bonita y acogedora, las camas muy cómodas. Una estancia sin duda con encanto llena de detalles. Las estancias comunes con las otras casas preciosas e invitaban a su uso, un buen libro en un rincón de la biblioteca...., la terraza...

Quizás por decir algo algunos elementos como puertas a reformar al ser casa antigua. Sin aire acondicionado y solo 1 ventilador para 3 habitaciones y en medio de ola de calor.

Best place on Tenerife and we've been coming to the island for quite some years now and stayed at countless rental properties. Communication, customer service, top notch from the first moment. Photos and description here on Booking are based on reality, in fact, the 160sqm where we stayed is even better in real life than the photos promised, and they looked really promising to begin with. First of all, the place is quiet! In so many places on this island you get a constant dog barking noise, night and day, or drunk people making street noise at 3am, but not here at Los Helechos, this place is peaceful and like an oasis, with only white noise which is actually pleasant (school kids, church bells). There's plenty of space on the property and the layout is very well though out. The interior design is wonderful, tasteful, attention to detail, the tiles are so awesome and slightly different designs in every room. The terrace is marvellous, spacious, lots of beautiful greenery, sipping coffee in the morning and just observing the oasis of nature here you can see a variety of birds, the tiny cute lizards, big butterflies... And when you sit in your private jacuzzi and watch the sunset, you immediately want to book another couple nights here. This place is amazing and we couldn't have wished for a better ending of our honeymoon.

The house is beautiful and very quaint and in a very quiet location, but it is on a very steep street. Driving to the property entails you having to navigate some very steep, narrow streets, so be prepared. There aren't any restaurants within walking distance, so self-catering or driving out to dinner is a must. The roof terrace has a great view over the Atlantic and is a lovely place to sit and watch the sun go down. The house has some lovely features with a lovely courtyard as you enter.

The house is very old and some of the doorways are quite low, and there are some low beams in one of the bedrooms. My husband banged his head on one causing a nasty wound. There could have been some kitchen rolls and towels in the kitchen and a few more utensils to use would have been great.
