Il cottage sulla spiaggia in una tranquilla strada senza uscita si trova a due minuti a piedi dalla bellissima spiaggia di Long Sands ea 15 minuti a piedi dalla vivace zona del centro per bambini. Perfetto per una famiglia di 4 settimane di vacanza con facile accesso alle spiagge, al centro città e allo York's Wild Kingdom e ai ristoranti informali.
Il cottage include un angolo cottura completo, grill a gas e tavolo da picnic nel cortile per mangiare all'aperto al fresco.
Due camere da letto, ognuna con un letto full size più un divano estraibile situato nella zona comune. Lenzuola e asciugamani forniti. Wifi gratuito e TV.
Parcheggio gratuito per due auto adiacente al cottage.

We checked in Sat afternoon. Cottage was clean. We unpacked our clothes and went to dinner. Sunday morning we were going to take a shower but no hot water. We texted owner and he was at the cottage within the hour. Could not get it lit. Gas company came on Monday and determined the hot water heater had to be replaced. We hung in until Tuesday, no replacement and we left. Checked into two hotel rooms. Mike told me he would send our money back. The response from Mike was very professional and timely. His hands were tied by plumbing and gas company. We hope to go back next year and enjoy this cottage and its location to all we like to do

This cottage is in a great spot. Walkable to beach, ice cream, long sands store and downtown (a bit of a hike for some). Cottage was adequate, nothing fancy, but we didn’t need fancy as we were not there a whole lot. Communication with owner was fantastic. We brought a fan, which helped to move the air around (it was a hot week for us).

Family Beach week
This was a great location and perfect for a group of 4 guests. The host is very responsive and helpful. It could use a deep clean but was ok overall. If we had a small group I would definitely rent again.

Great Beach Cottage
Perfect little beach cottage about a minute walk to Long Beach, and a ten minute walk to downtown. We packed lunches and spent most of our time on the beach. Downtown has some great take out restaurants and beach shops too. If you're looking for a convenient, no frills no fuss spot in York to chill out and relax, this is it.

York Vacation
This was a great spot right on Long Sands beach and walking distance to Short Sands. We never needed the car, which was great. The location was amazing for children. The street that the cottage is on is basically private and the kids and can run around and play with each other. Highly recommend this cottage for the location and kid friendly atmosphere.
