휴식을 취하기 너무 좋고, 방안도 깨끗합니다. 방에서 보는 눈 쌓인 계곡이 보이는 바깥 풍경은 환상적이었고, 창문앞에 나타난 노루를 보고 깜짝 놀랐습니다. 각 방마다 온천욕을 즐길수 있어 너무 좋았습니다. 욕조가 그리 크진 않았지만요.

Private bath가 3개만 있다보니, 경쟁이 치열해서 2박 하는동안 한번도 이용을 못했네요. 거의 산속에 있다보니, 별도 렌트카 없이는 접근이 힘들어 보였습니다.

My favorite thing about this ryokan was its location along a pretty stream/river, so our room had a lovely view (even in the rain) and the soothing sounds of the water flowing by. Our room (shared by four adults) had a seating area facing the large picture window overlooking the stream, as well as a decent-sized sitting area with sofa and table. The aesthetic of the room was wonderful -- beautiful wood, clean lines, peaceful Japanese atmosphere. I liked the extra touches like the Japanese tea pottery, complimentary cookies, Japanese style bath (although we used the hotel onsen bath), and quality pajamas. It was super quiet and the beds were comfortable, so we all slept well despite being jet-lagged. We enjoyed both the public onsen bath as well as one of the three private onsen baths - it was extra nice because there were so few people, but the water was actually not quite hot enough. We had our meals included, and they were very traditional Japanese cuisine (heavy focus on seafood, which was challenging at times for some of us). For breakfast, they allow you to choose Japanese style or Western style (both were very good, but if you don't grilled fish for breakfast, I'd recommend the Western style). It would have better if there had been more variation from one day to the next -- the meals were quite similar. I would definitely love to come back and stay a slightly longer time than two nights, although I would probably only include meals for one day. However, there are not many other places nearby, so finding places to eat could be a challenge.

Meals were pretty similar each day, so I wouldn't want to do that for more than two days. There are no other businesses or restaurants right near by, so a car is a must.

No aircon ! It was very uncomfortable in the room even with the windows opened and 3 floor fans .. I complained and was told the airon for the whole hotel was not working ! Which sounded a little of a lie to me. All the dining outlets were closed except 1 and it was fully booked every day I think the hotel is understaffed and overworked thus the impolite behaviour towards customers...

The room with view on river and with onsen was great.

Food was trying to hard but not quite good enough. Quantity over quality? No hotel bar open.

Exceptional end-to-end hotel experience. We loved the hotel facilities especially the private onsen and the meals were spectacular and highly recommended.

Due to our tight travel schedule, we can only afford a 1 night stay.

This is a really lovely resort with amazing views and great service. Highly recommend having your meals here as well, they are elaborate and delicious, and if you are lucky you may see deer or fireflies outside. The rooms are clean, although just a bit creepy at night.. I would not want to stay here alone. We stayed on the second level with a river view, though our view was partially blocked by the roof of the onsen below. The resort has public baths (great view) and reserved baths as well. Would love to be back again.

Quiet and tranquil

Spacious room with large windows facing the river. Deers running around the water from morning to late evening. Delicious food. Reasonable price. Not too crowded.

Great view from our room, good environment and facilities, and the best, for sure, is the hot spring!

Fantastic food. Lovely view. Fabulous staff. Awesome onsen. And a bunch of deers that frequent the location.

Cozy room and good view is all you need for a magical white Christmas. We stayed comfortably and made use of the onsen facility both in room and outdoors. It's a real hidden gem if you want to be away from the rest of the world.

1. the location is remote to the downtown, no shops and restaurants around, we knew this when booking, however, we didn’t know the shuttle bus to downtown offered by the hotel ends early, no taxi would like to come to hotel after 5pm, and dinner in the hotel requires reservation in advance and it is usually full after 4pm, therefore, for new guests whose check-in time is 3pm, they are likely have nothing to eat for dinner: no shuttle and taxi to downtown and dinner at hotel is full. 2. breakfast and dinner’s portion is small 3. there are a few stairs from lobby to the lift, not convenient. putting a slope would be thoughtful

dinner and breakfast spread was wonderful, the triple room was big and onsen was beautiful- the outdoor onsen faces the river, really beautiful. they have a free ramen bar that is open from 10pm

The room and the view, river view was fantastic. Especially impressed by the restaurant staff, Mr Koshi. He made a great effort in communicating with us in English and explaining to us about the menu. He studied the night before on English so that he can communicate with us the next day. Otherwise, we would have problem with the menu which were in Japanese. We really appreciated it. Thank you! Front desk staff, Ms Watanabe was very helpful and friendly.
