Liked the heated lounge area. Washing machine was good but the drying cycle that was part of the washing machine was too harsh on our clothes.

A minimal breakfast was provided. 2 cooked sausages and 2 cooked eggs for 2 people left in a warmed bain marie. No cereal provided. Bread for toast provided. The location was a km walk in a slightly deserted area and dark and cold after 4.30 pm. Reception by host on arrival was not very friendly. No wine or champagne was provided in the family suite as stated on the booking.com website. Super thin towels were supplied and these 2 towels had to be used for 3 days!

I had the most incredible holiday staying in the camper van in the beautiful lakes of Fuji. The picturesque surroundings and serene waters made for a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. What truly made this experience exceptional was my host Taka. He was friendly, kind and attentive, recommending places to visit. He kindly picked me up from the train station and when I checked out he drove me back to the train station free of charge. The camper van itself was well-equipped and comfortable, even during the colder nights the inside heater warmed the space. I can't recommend this holiday experience enough. If you're looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway, coupled with a welcoming and attentive host, the lakes of Fuji in a camper van is a great choice.

Il y a également 3 chats qui eux ont la chance de pouvoir faire leur vie et aller où ils veulent contrairement à ce pauvre chien. Je mettrais donc 8/10 pour le lieu et le service mais 0/10 pour l’humanité et les conditions du chiens Occupez-vous de votre chien comme il faut et la çà serait top.

Liked bunch of amenities that he had. The host Mr. Taka was exceptionally welcoming and nice person. I enjoyed the whole experience.

We had an awesome stay. The host is the best. He offered to pick us up from the train station and brought us back. His home is wonderful and unique and he makes you feel at home. My adult kids had a blast staying in the camper and we had a great time renting the bikes and exploring the area. Will have to return!! Thank you for the great memories!!

There was no shower, not even shared. The only sink was that of the common kitchen.

The location was great for a trip to Fuji if you are driving

Very low beams in the bedroom and bathroom that I hit my head on a number of times. Little parking space. Closest restaurants may not be open.

The owner provided us a free shuttle service from/to Kawaguchiko Station. We slept in the Campervan, which was clean and comfortable. There were two cozy sleeping bags, to stay warm during the cold nights. Also there was a heater in there. We had a great breakfast, including soup, eggs, some meat/sausages, bread/pastries. There was a fridge with things for free, like yogurt, jelly, fruit juices, ice tea, some pickled veggies... Also there were some snacks, drinking water and coffee for free. It was possible to rent a bike for a whole day, but if you just needed it for a short while (1 hour, cycling to the supermarket) he won't charge you.

There was no Wifi reception in the van, so we had to sit outside to get a connection and it was freezing cold. The accommodation was a bit remote. That's why there is this free shuttle service... i guess.

I'm Thankful that I stood at Mr Taka property, I loved the atmosphere at Kakureyado Fujikawaguchiko and Mr Taka is such an welcoming host, thank you for having us! Mr Taka did everything as promised, and more. The property has an backyard with a beautiful garden, where we spent an amazing night with Mr Taka and other guests. The room was confortable, the bathroom was set with amenities, nothing to complain. The surroundings were superb, we rented bikes and had one real adventure, I'll never forget my stay in Fujikawaguchiko!!

Very interesting and unsual place to stay. I loved the nature around the house and alfresco sitting area. Taka-san was very nice, helpful and fun host, gave us a lift back to the station as well. The room itself was more like an attic, with a low ceiling, but full of light and comfortable. Not recommended for tall people, as you can hit your head. You can rent bicycles here as well, that was great, as we didn't have a car. Would stay again.

Bathroom needs more cleaning.

Wonderful owner that pick us and sent us to the nearest station. Wonderful garden view but unfortunately raining so we can't view Mt Fuji. Last but not least, there's really no shower for camper van. 😕 Manage to bargain for a shower (additional charge) Arigatho Kakureyado, definitely will come back!

Totally no shower even in common areas (maybe we get used that camping in Malaysia will provide bath and shower room) but is a totally no here. But the owner was nice and considering. Arigatho

Host was very friendly and accomodating. The room was modern with a modern bathroom and very comfortable.

Possibly a bit far from the station but the bicycle hire and the host picking us up and driving us to the station when we needed to leave made it very easy.

Our host, Taka-san, was prompt in his responses via Booking.com and kindly picked and dropped us off at Kawaguchiko station. When we arrived, he also drove us around the area to show us the main spots that we could go to as well as convenience stores, supermarket and restaurants we could try. He also provided us with discount coupons for an onsen and the ropeway. The accommodation was fun, quiet and we really appreciated having access to the bicycles to get around on. Taka-san also provided breakfast for us between 7am and 9am, which made it easy to start the day. Thanks for having us, Taka-san!

It's a little far from the lake, but it's a nice forested area. It was quite easy to get around on the bikes so it was a non issue for us. The doorway into the room was also very small, but that just added to the quirkiness

Location is decent

Most of facilities, toilet accès, kitchen, dinning room are outdoor so in winter is not a good choice. Jacuzzi is not available in winter time but it was not mentioned, Barbecue was available in the garden, nothing mentioned that was extra charge for it, owner proposed us to do barbecue and didn't mention the extra charge for use and during check out claimed us 3000 JPY for it which is not acceptable, we felt very scammed and disappointed.

Only mansion

There is no support staff. Only one owner was trying to support but he couldn’t manage. As a breakfast, he just put bread in front of us. I never experienced worst place with high prices.

Everything was amazing, from the place itself, the accomodations, the service provided. The owner made us feel like we were home! It is the perfect place if you want to have a fun stay around Fuji-san. If I could I would rate it even higher ! Room was big enough even though we were 6, clean toilets, clean shower, literally nothing negative to say!

The only bad thing is that we only stayed one night ...
