The setting of the place was remarkable, situated right across from Mt Fuji. Fortunately, during my two-day stay, the weather was clear, allowing for unobstructed views of the mountain. The room, ideally sized for a couple, featured a wardrobe for storing our luggage. The pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and the room maintained a cozy warmth, thanks to the air conditioners and bed warmers.

The futon was somewhat thin, leading to a bit of discomfort after sleeping on it, which is expected for those unaccustomed to it. Dining options were limited on this side of the lake, resulting in us having dinner from 7/11 on both nights.

First, I think this is the first Accomadation that provides a Futon dryer to make the bed warm for the guest to sleep well, Secondly, I requested the Owner for some local recommendation places to visit since this was the only day where my itinerary is surrounded on this Accomdation and The owner recommended some nice places. Cycling around the area was Tons of fun too. 120% will come back again along with my friends if possible.

If there was a TV, that would have been perfection. But everything else is Top Notch. Wish i could stay there for 2 Nights or more instead of 1 night .

No word to describe how amazing and nice the hosts are, that was a fantastic stay ! Perfect place to enjoy the relaxing view on the Mt Fuji, paddling on the lake was a great pleasure !

Superb view of Mount Fuji although we didn’t have the luck to see it due to bad weather.

The location of the guest house was absolutely fantastic. Situated in a prime spot, it provided breathtaking views of Mount Fuji right from the comfort of the house. Besides, the owner was very friendly and accommodating plus he spoke english very well! If you are seeking a peaceful and memorable getaway, this guest house is the perfect choice.

Beautifully presented room with tatami and such a warm and cosy futon. The guest house is ideally located on the prettiest side of Lake Yamanaka, and I could see Mount Fuji out of my window. In the early morning it was reflected in the lake as the mist rose off the water, and the view was magical. Staying here was a special experience.

Nothing, all was perfect

such a beautiful property that looks right out onto Fuji. the view really doesn’t get better. the host is so amazing, helping with recommendations or any questions and there to help whenever you need. also a bonus is they have bikes you can use to cycle around the area :)

This is that rare gem you’re looking for. Probably a once in a lifetime experience. The room feels authentic, is comfy and cozy. It has a big closet to stow away all your luggage to keep the room as aesthetic as it is. The view is breathtaking, mesmerising and iconic above all. The host is unbelievably friendly, generous and speaks English very well. If hospitality would be a form of art this host would be a master.

The only downside is the moment one has to leave again. Unforgettable experiences are hard to part from…

The place is simply amazing. It's a traditional Japanese house with cozy tatami rooms. My room had an amazing view of Fuji. I just look out and see it all! I don't think it can get better than that. And you get out of the hotel and you're on the beach! The owner is very sweet guy too. Highly recommended! Just beware of the buses, it's a village so they are not that frequent.
