The owner couple were amazingly friendly and helpful , offering very helpful information, umbrellas etc. , also carrying my suitcase from car to room . The place had its own car park .Well located for bus stops, or walk to Lake …. room was small though comfortable, Breakfast was fabulous, to kill for , all fresh and healthy products .
My room was up very steep stairs. The front exit opens onto quite a busy road . There was no communal sitting area . , other than at breakfast.

The hosts are superb and breakfast is splendid. Our room was cosy and comfy. It was kept very clean. The bathroom was small and water pressure was somewhat limited, but it was spotless and had everything we needed. The beds were good. Nearby parking is offered by the facility, which is convenient.

The hosts were really friendly, the breakfast was great and everything was exceptionally clean.

The couple were so helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic, all locally sourced, high quality products. Coffee and tea top-ups and the offer of additional sausages and bacon made every morning at breakfast. A pamphlet designed by the owners with regards to local walks and activities further afield was so useful!
There wasn't anything to dislike about our stay!

Location was excellent. Quiet. Didn't hear traffic at all even tho it's a main road near.

Lovely comfortable place to stay close to everything in Bowness. Spotlessly clean and the room had everything needed (TV, hairdryer, iron etc) and really nice breakfast included. Steve and Sam are great hosts, adding the personal touch 😊

I liked the location and that it is en-suite
over priced for the small room definitely price needs revised. breakfast was small for the amount paid and fruit bowl consisted only of melon!

Lovely and cosy place to stay. Very clean. Delicious breakfast and the most important, Sam and Stephen are very friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved everything.

Very clean, modern, functional rooms with tea tray.
Extremely friendly and helpful owners, they were always open for a chat and gave us usefuls tips about what to visit in the area.
Very good English breakfast.
Free parking available ca. 100m down a hill (not very easy to find at first)
Walking distance to the center of Bowness-on-Windermere with many shops & restaurants & the Pier for boat trips.
Good Wifi
The house is directly next to the main road and there is no space for unloading luggage. Road faced rooms quite noisy (if windows open).
One room was quite small (this is clearly described in the booking tool, though.)

Good location lots of restaurants nearby, rooms very well kept and good selection of beverages and a good breakfast to set you up for the day. Samantha and Steve very friendly and good hosts
