Loved the rooftop terrace and the hammocks!

A shame there is no pool - but only about 3 do have them in Paleochora I think.

A comparatively small, but impeccably run, family hotel. The interior decor is stylish, with many original works of art. The Aris is in an excellent location, being a few minutes walk from the seafront restaurants and the compact centre of Palaeochora. It is also a short walk away from the beautiful beach of the town. Breakfast is served in a quiet dining room or on a sunlit terrace, shaded by trees. The Aris is a beautiful place in which to stay for a restful holiday or for exploring southern Crete.

From the moment we stepped in the hotel, we started feeling relaxed! Beautiful space, really polite and friendly staff, nice breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is ideal for being close to the center but away from the noise!

Location. The room was big. Spotlessly clean. Very tasty breakfast.

There was nothing to dislike but the en-suite was a little cramped.

Relaxed in the area and the hotel itself after the mad couple of days on the north side of the Crete. The room and location are superb, with great stuff, food and surrounding. Highly recommended

Awesome territory and full of greens. Basically, this hotel is built in a garden! It has a pleasant and calm place on the roof. Breakfasts are quite good, rooms are OK but have all that you might need.

Showers are very small :(

Very friendly staff, nice breakfast, pleasant terrace. The art-loving owner has placed nice touches in the hotel. Laid-back atmosphere. Popular taverna nearby, short walk to the centre.

Everything was perfect at Aris Hotel - and we had a wonderful time there. Will definitely stay there again☀️

Good location and proprietor helpful. Clean and good value. Beautifully decorated.

This hotel had everything we needed. Personal touch was lovely as it was small, very attentive friendly staff, Breakfast had enough variety, we chose the items from the buffet but staff served them because of corona virus regulations - no self serve, not a problem for us. Rooms had a kettle which we prefer to the expresso machine often supplied. Air Con was very efficient, only thing we would have preferred in room was a larger shower, we are not big people and did manage but it was small. Room was very clean. Location a short walk into centre of Paleochora where there were numerous tavernas and a lovely “street vibe” in the old centre.
